@@damouze Yes, but Seagal was SEAL trained before he became a cook. Most cooks are only dangerous if you eat their food.
That cook deserves praise. Scared, unsure, unqualified. Yet takes his station and does one hell of a job.
Courage is not being un afraid, it is being terrified out of yer mind, but gathering the resolve and taking action because it is the right thing to do.
The cook was courageous!
He's not the only one! I remember being bloody scared as well! Of a operation in hospital. A couple of years ago. It took a hymn by Rev Daniel Schutte performed by the choristers of Wells Cathedral which made me realise that I would go nowhere if I ran away. Courage is real if you face a real danger.

The most scared I’ve been. But my sleeping wife and neighbors were in danger. (We lived in a duplex). I grabbed burning microwave and threw it out. When I came back in the kitchen was in flames. I ran into the bedroom, grabbed a blanket soaked in the shower, yanked the wife out of bed rapped her in the wet blanket and escaped the burning house.
3rd degree burns on my left arm and lung damage but it was the right thing to do.
Remember the days when the Galaxy and Sovereign classes were the biggest ships Starfleet had? I do.

3:20 I feel like Data's sheer hatred to the Borg is down to what they did to him during First Contact. A good reference that doesn't beat you over the head.
Not just what they've done to him, but also Picard.
It looks more like Data’s empathy and care for others expressed through his newfound emotional capacity for hatred, taken from lore.
Probert Station took on _350_ starships. Depending on travel time to and from Sol via Athan Prime, that station held off _350_ ships, including _TEN_ superdreadnoughts in the form of the Odyssey-Class, for at least three hours up to a full DAY. While ALSO dealing with the same drone uprising AND knocking out more then a few boats.
DS9 folded to a Dominion attack led by less numerous ships in less then two hours. The Klingon assault was halted when Starfleet reinforcements arrived.
To paraphase a certain Decepticon, Starfleet superior.
For the Dominion...they all knew that they weren't going to hold DS9 for a long while.

And this time. No desperate signal to announce success in retaking the bridge. Comms open only to the bare minimum level. To figure out means to proceed. The destruction of the USS Excelsior A - at least helped to avoid an immediate outcome for the Titan A

computer, lock on to all borg signatures on all the other ships and transport them into the transporter buffers. problem solved.
You forget that transporters can't beam through shields, and with that many ships, each having several thousand crewmembers apiece, there's no way they'd be able to transport them all before the remaining ships blew them out of the stars.

I do, but that was Insurrection. On Nemesis, emergency transponder was what was used for Picard to get off the ship before the original Data's death

That was actually Insurrection that showed us Isolinear Tags. But then, it reminded me of the TNG episode Gambit Pt. I in which Picard mentioned the same thing happening to him when he encountered those mercenaries in the bar on Dessica II.
Transporters basicly kill the original and copy them with atomic energy. Any one who transports, is dead. And a clone is what materializes.

I would think that much of the crew on Space Dock would've been assimilated as well. So it makes me wonder how Space Dock didn't join the borg controlled fleet.
Maybe they didn't. Or were transported via shuttles/different transporters. Also maybe older crew/retired crew. The brightest and best you want on your ships exploring.
That's probably the smartest way to delay the borg

It's only now i realise that all those jokes about the Enterprise being "The only ship in range" of earth in the TOS movies actually makes sense now
They don't need a fleet of starships to defend earth, the starbases themselves can handle nearly all of starfleet throwing everything they've got at them and stand firm. Can't believe how badass they are.
The Borg left Raffi and Seven loose on the Titan. They should have got off when they had the chance.
Seven knows how to fight the collective.
The Borg Queen probably wanted Seven to suffer as well.

Why did the cube lower it's shields when the Enterprise approached? Picard said it was "an invitation". Was it the BQ specifically wanting Picard to come re-join the Borg family or something?
Probably to brag, as well.
She wanted Picard to see the end of humanity and what had become of Jack.
It wanted to make the one who made the biggest impact, feel the shame of not joining them again
She said herself it was for picard to see her finally win
I have to admit that it’s kind of both dark and shocking how Starfleet was lacking when it came to the Borg. This was definitely a page out of the Destiny book series to a degree, where the Borg wanted one last permanent revenge against the Federation. It’s like a virus infiltrated Starfleet and gave it cancer. Glad it’s over though, the Borg is no more and I don’t want them back and I think it’s safe to say there are none left in the delta quadrant…or is there…🤔🤔🤔
OMG!...Was that the "Enterprise-E" on the right (0:17)?...I certainly hope so, cause that "Sovereign-Class-Enterprise" was such a "Bad-Ass" starship! And truly "Deserves" "More Recognition" than the "Enterprise-D." 😉👍🖖😎
Probably not! Maybe the class ship of the Sovereign Class - herself. The USS Sovereign ! Calm down @wadeleetorres2585 - after all. We have the strongest hint of all. That the NCC 1701-E was lost in the line of duty.. Under Worf's Captaincy! After all - in reference to the loss of the Enterprise-E " That... Was not MY fault!!!" So it is presumed that the ship was lost in an undisclosed incidence. With a degree of better than 95% likelihood.
By the way.. The Enterprise D proved herself sufficient to rescue the Federation again! From the Borg for the second time in 35 years.. That starship has a double distinction in this instance and respect.
@stephenfarthing3819 yeah I'm glad the Enterprise-D wasn't part of the network she's a relic of an older time but damn does she still bite hard in battle. She has saved the Federation more times than 3 old guys can remember. As Gordi LaForge says "she's always taken good care of us"

Riker was screwed at not getting The Enterprise 1701-D and 1701-G when will he finally get The credit he deserves? He rescued Picard from being Locutos with the crews help but they were under his command Jeri Ryan is cute but I never can picture her as Captain it looks like she will be Admiral sooner than Riker
Riker got command of the USS Titan in Nemesis. I think, personally, that Seven of Nine would be a good captain if they ever green-light a new Star Trek spin-off.
Riker is basically semi-retired...he wants to return as an admiral who is basically the mission giver

Considering what Seven pulls off with only a handful of crew against the Borg not only on the Titan-A but the fleet as well she more than earned her promotion to Captain.
Any darker and this show would be nothing but a blank screen and subtitles. I can listen to a radio station and it would be better.

Tell me you've never watched Star Trek without telling me you've never watched Star Trek.
Star Trek was always "woke". Each series was socially progressive for the time pushing barriers and none more so than The Next Generation. And that is a good thing.

@soulsphere9242 Star Trek was never woke in the past. It was progressive. Very distinct difference. Progressive is to invite different viewpoints or cultures for debate and to learn from it. Woke is the deranged obsession with identity politics, and seeking to divide people into groups to define them by rather than to accept them as individuals.
