Gil would have had more initial respect for Archer simply by dint of Archer being a Servant in his own right, and Gil _usually_ knows better than to underestimate a Servant.
Gilgamesh in Overlord: Gets humbled and pleas for vassalage. He has a mid-life crisis and pulls his hair out every time Ainz is just doing dumb normal sightseeing or walks. Strange Fake Gil is definitely my favorite version of the King of Heroes. He's got all the arrogance and dickery of his Archer self while still being intelligent and wise like Caster Gil. Also his relationship with his Master is actually kinda cute since he basically told her "Kids should be kids so sit back and enjoy watching me kick some Mongrel ass."
