  • The need to employ lonely cat ladies after they get their useless gender studies degree has created useless departments that didn't exist in generations prior like human resources.

I drive truck. I was out of my chew and i was stuck at a Flying J truck stop for the night. I broke down and let them scan my license. 48hrs latter, my phone was inundated by telemarketers.

My wonderfull small auto shop was bought out a few years ago.
Now we have an HR department causing unnecessary tension.

Just today I had to sign a letter of suspension because someone accused me to hr of having said a disparaging comment towards them. I have no idea what they are talking about. They won't tell me any details so I can't even defend myself. I thought I got along with everyone at my job. I've been nothing but friendly and helpful since I joined, and now a promising career is in jeopardy over some scheming rat playing tricks behind my back. I despise hr. Aren't they too fucking old to be hall monitors?

Make a complaint against the CEO and the HR department but don't tell them what it is. Play their game and record all conversations.

The new normal is to move on from your current job to a new job every 6 months to 3 years. Don't get attached, don't expect anything, and don't fight them. Just move on to the next, better job.
On the positive side, deporting 15 million illegal immigrants should cause a pretty big dent in the labor supply, so new/better jobs should be popping up in about a year or so :)

DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) is another example of the Left's deceptive use of language. "Discrimination, exclusion, and inequity" would be a more accurate description. A true meritocracy would be blind to race, color, and creed. People could move ahead in a meritocracy by improving themselves, and there would be less friction among groups. In a meritocracy, there would not be equal outcomes, but society as a whole would be better, and sane people would recognize it.

I’ve been passed over for many jobs for being black. This is the American way and it’s boomeranged

If we had a true meritocracy that used more objective criteria for determining skills and qualifications, the hiring process would be more transparent and we would have a better idea about why some people are chosen over others. When hiring is based on social engineering rather than skills the process is less transparent and we are left guessing.
