Awesome collection man! I was thinking of doing a Vietnam war collection video soon! So it’s cool to see how you display yours. Thanks for the shoutout too; I’ll be sure to give one to you!
Nice collection. I have a few items that I inherited from family members or bought from flea markets and thrift stores. Either way keep up the good work. 😎👍 PS: If you want to save the leather sheath on your knife, use saddle soap to clean it first and then wipe it down with neatsfoot oil. Hope this helps.
That one bayonet you didn't really know what it is. I think it might be one of the m1 carbine bayonets that was designed after ww2, used in the 50's-60's.
@@SteelPot1970 it gets really east after putting them up for the first time but the first one i used it was missing like five buttons so that might have made it harder
How do you date your jungle boots I have a pair of jungle boots that I got off eBay and they had the white plastic mesh insoles that act like a sponge when there is water in the boots.
It's a pretty sweet collection that you have there steel pot love the video still looking for things to add to my own collection.
Also I believe those swirls that you said on the early war 17 gas mask bag is the United States chemical corpse logo.
Thanks man, and thanks for the info on the gas mask bag, I didn’t know that
