Basic Vietnam War M-1956 LCE Gear-How To Assemble
I was there in 68. Many of the C-rats we had were from the 50's.
las mochilas alice en las correas son una mier.. hay que ingeniarse para que sean mejores
Also the loops on the front hooks are used with the m1956 sleeping bag carrier I’m pretty sure
Imagine, some of your uniforms, if not all, were once used. Someone actually wore those in combat, or formal events, or formations and inspections.
Good luck finding an original pair of USMC boots. I gave up 15 years ago puttimg my Operation Starlite kit together 😊
You’re missing the two most important parts of the fit. Dirt and cigarettes! If you really want to get your things worn in then cycle through each piece of clothing instead of wearing it all at once and looking like a dork in public. For example wear the pants everyday with no washing for a week then the shirt next week then the flak and so on. It’s best not to wash your stuff ever which is fine if you’re only wearing it out to events and not date nights and job interviews. Also if you want your boots worn in you’re gonna have to wear them every single day. Until they’re well broken in. That’s gonna take a few months.
Love it, looks good
Wow. Works good molded my repro Mitchel cover to the m1 helmet better.
Late to the party but congrats! You mentioned that you’re in a group that’s reenacting Dewey Canyon I, are you on the West or East coast?
Thanks man! We’re kinda all around and then meet up.
@@SteelPot1970 Sounds neat! Thanks for replying! Do you have a FB page or anything? I’d be interested in joining since I’m about to complete my Hotel 2/9, 1969, impression!
Your gear looks good, you just need club patches on your utility blouse and field jacket.
I have one question could I put an m1956 canteen on my belt and have 67 canteens on my rucksack or would that be farb?
your voice is getting real deep
Are you looking for one of the vietnam era produced covers for the M43 E-tool I've found some local to me
I think it so odd that I feel like I can find 5 M43s for less than 40 then thenone time I see one of these the guy wants like 80 for it lol
Just ran across your channel. My father was in Hue Lima company 3rd battalion 5th marines I showed him this video. He said When you watch the documentaries on Hue alot of Marines carried north Vietnamese field packs. He said they were better than the ones they were issued. He said when they found one they would take it and throw the issued one away.
As long as you, and people like you, are doing what you're doing, the honor of those men who traveled to Sout-East Asia in the 60s is kept alive. Best wishes from Poland!
you should make a NCO kit maybe like a captain or sumn if your doing officer
Love your impression brother, I was not a Marine I was Army Airborne. I have a question for you, where did you get your jungle boots, I would really appreciate if you could tell me, keep up your good work.
@@abbuassin21 thanks man! I got mine from What Price Glory, but Moore Militaria and SM Wholesale also have options
You have a wonderful hobby my man. Best wishes from Poland!
Hope this message reaches you, but like if you’re trying to sell the pistol belt Im looking for one
Really love these videos need more accurate Vietnam reenactors the prize of my helmet collection is a Vietnam war era m1c airborne helmet with the Mitchell camo
What brand is the airsoft rifle?
Cool kit!
Most of that 782 gear is familiar to me, and I enlisted in 1974. Good job!
Very awesome collection, I love Vietnam stuff. Great illustration on the setup.
Are you planning on joining the Marines? You seem to be an all in kid.
The wardrobe and prop department for the movie Full Metal jacket could have learned a thing or two from you! Good job!
And also have you ever thought of joinging the military
Are you in 1st plt hotel 2-5
This is incredible! I love the Vietnam war era!
My Father-in-law was a Marine that was in the MACV compound during the battle of HUE. I'm sure he would have liked your video.

Great impression good job keep it up
Gotta love the four tops
I like your marine kit you should check out my stuff
where do you get the guns (as a canadian) i hate my prime minister
Its just an airsoft gun from jg
@@SteelPot1970 oh nice my friend does hue impressions but he never told me abouit the gun
I have a 1965 Operation Starlite set. One thing i would maybe change at some point for a Hue set up is going from the Dark Green M-41 cross straps to the WW2 Khaki M-41 cross straps. Being it is one of the few times that you see Marines with straps on the outside of the Flaks the WW-2 ones stick out like a sore thumb. Nice impression man just needs to be "Saltier". 👍👍
Guys will watch mercenaries from majorsamm and base their whole personality around it
Good video, enjoy your reengagement as it go's so fast but great fun learning things 👍
THAT was some bad mojo. Semper Fi, Devil Dogs! Welcome Home, Boys!!! Thank you for your Service!
go roll in the mud
Looks good. Good USMC Nam Impression. Im currently working on my ARC late War Impression.
what song is at the start
Reach Out I’ll Be There by the Four Tops
I also ordered some gear going toward my first impression! I should have a basic impression video up by next week or later.
Awesome, I’ll make sure to check out your page
@@SteelPot1970 Thanks!
@@SteelPot1970Hey! My gear arrived! Only question is, can i find a date on my bandoliers?
Awesome impression! I like the improved version and the pocket litter as well as the poncho roll.
Thanks man, glad you liked it
Also love the flack vest
Looks great man! Marine kits are always so cool
