How are you doing on the reading from your shelf that we picked for you?I 😂
I’ve not started them yet BUT I will I will! 😉
Literally, I fly from Canada for a hiking vacation in the UK and plan my trip around Lucy and Yak stores. Major clothing purchase (mostly dungees) coming up in August.
I wish we had Lucy and Yak in Canada :/
@@karinasmith7636 so do I! The shipping costs, plus duty almost double the cost of the clothing…….
I demand to see the purchases 😂
I love a town that has plenty of independent bookshops.📚😄 We’ve lost a lot of indies since the “Chapters” chain took over in the 1990s. Not to mention Amazon. Thanks for taking us along to Bristol. I feel like I've had a bit of a mini-break, thanks to you.
Same here in Kamloops, BC😢
@@allisonryder4781 Sadly, I think that losing our indie bookshops is a Canada-wide issue.
It’s so sad with towns and cities looks independents so I love to support where I can. And thanks for watching and enjoying! I felt like you were all with me even when I was on my own.
so excited to see this vlog. I went to Bristol in 2022 and visited lots of bookshops but all different from those you went to so I now I want to go back EVEN MORE!.
Aww thanks and YAY you have plenty more bookshops to visit now 🙌🏻
Fantasic loved watching , Bristol is a incredible place next time I’m visiting my brother n law I’m going the all those bookshops 😊xx
Do it! They were an utterly delight. Everyone was so friendly
The places you visit always look amazing, and good to know about Bristol! Shoot....I was hoping you'd let me know a way to tell if your dog is ignoring you/if it's actual hearing loss. I have two who behave that way, certainly feels selective 🤣
ha ha ha! I am still unsure with Lucy she's either going deaf and ignoring me!
Hello, new subscriber here. I'm so glad you love my city of Bristol. You may have passed by me as I work in duty free at Bristol Airport. I'd recommend visiting Bath sometime. Very different but amazing, with good book shops ❤❤
Oh yay hello! I hope you enjoyed watching! I blooming LOVED you city I will definitely be back. I can understand why you live there. And wow must be great working at the airport too. You might have seen with my backpack full of books 😂 *adds Bath to my visit list
Enjoyed this video . I like your enthusiasm for the simple things in life
Aww thanks so much for watching and enjoying pal!
Thanks for taking us along with you on your travels❤
I felt less lonely with you all coming along with me 🩵
Thanks for taking us along with you on your travels❤
My pleasure 😊
I live in Bristol. It is a nice city. If you come down again let me know and maybe we can go book shopping 😊 although I love going to Bath to go book shopping
Clifton is my favourite area, far too expensive to live there though 😂
I really like the coconut tree.
No waaaaaaay!! If only I’d known! Next time for sure. Yeah Clifton looks expensive hence I was renting a spare room for much cheapness 😂 but Bristol is amazing. I loved it. I can understand why you live!
You bring me joy ❤ I look forward to all of your uploads 🫶🏼
Your comment brings me joy! Thank you so so much 🩵
Ah this is great! We're in Cardiff and go to Bristol now and again but haven't seen these bookstores! Siân xx
Well now you need to go!
You’re so lucky to live so close!
I can’t wait to read Birding! I loved Rose Ruane’s previous novel This is yesterday ❤
I’ve never read anything by this author before so I’m glad to hear you’ve enjoyed their previous novels 💕
