I have to ask, what the heck are messages at the co-op 😂 I read the Sober Diaries by Claire Pooley when I stopped drinking too. I also loved Mrs D is going without by Lotta Dann. I'm sure we are twin souls. The doggos look mega cute in their Halloween accessories 😊
LOLs messages = groceries (it's a scots thing) and the co-op is a supermarket called the co-operative. How spooky hardly anyone i know has read her sober diaries!!
Did you ask about giving pumpkin to the birds? It's non native so bad for any of our wildlife. I get 3/4 through those giant bags of crisps start feeling sick but still force them in until the bag is empty then feel physically terrible. So glad pringles aren't vegan anymore because that was just total text book self sabotage. 🏡
Ah thanks for the bird feeding tip! I didn't realise that and thankfully don't have any pumpkin yet so good to know. Oh the self sabotage is real and yes agree re the pringles!
I couldn’t agree more about food from McDonald’s or other fast food making me feel bleh and slightly angry afterwards. Glad I’m not alone 😂I certainly didn’t notice it until my 20s, sadly. A pumpkin patch is right up my alley too….good choice!

I'm just like you. I'm lactose intolerant and sometimes I eat stuff that I know will make me sick and I never understood why do I make myself feel the pain for days just for 5min of pleasure. Love the vlog as usual 🪴 (dont have a garden emoji, so I'm leaving you this lovely plant)
apparently over 80% of the population are lactose intolerant so it's maybe a food that we just haven't developed to tolerate well. thanks for watching and hope you are well.

I completely get what you mean about eating stuff you shouldn't. Trust me it is a mistake that will happen from time to time. I have had IBS for over 21 years and I still do it. I think the best you can do is to try not to be annoyed at yourself. The pain is enough of a reminder ❤

I love anything salty🧂or savoury but sweets tempt me occasionally like the time I ate an entire bag of chocolate bikkies. My doctor told me my cholesterol was approaching the dangerously high level so I’ve given up self-sabotaging. Now, I only indulge at Easter, my birthday in June, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Knowing that I can go overboard on those special occasions carries me through the times that I’m craving junk food. I’ve been “good” for a year (yay!) and have a normal cholesterol level. The secret to giving up unhealthy snacks is to have healthy snacks that are easily at-hand and easy to prepare.

agree! always have healthy subs about i didn't and normally do, I buy mexican corn tortillas that are mainly just made of corn and cut them up and bake and have with salsa as my savoury treat but I had ran out and indulged. Health scares can push you to stay on the healthier side I know. Super glad to hear about your cholesterol is back to normal levels.

Ive got IBS-D and a big bag of crisps would definitely give me brain fog and other symptoms! Great vlog as usual to relax to even though I don't read many thrillers. Hope you manage to relax in-between work. 🪴🐝🌼
