Was not expecting that Tweety and Sylvester plot twist. Legitimately clicked on this thinking there was a Loony Tunes gambling game.

yeah i was very interested
what a plot hole that is Tweety and Svlvester. game of the year istg.

“I haven’t lost it because I haven’t stopped playing yet”
-Arin “Spent it all on Gambling” Hanson
I see a Game Grumps animated of Arin in a cheap suit, losing all of his money, with Dan in a cocktail dress at his side.
Arin would be the one in the cocktail dress
@@samhurst735 You're 100% correct, actually
And Sylvester is the dealer
One of those sleezy plaid green and burnt orange suits.
And you gotta have leisure suit larry winning every penny arin looses at the table next to him.
Arin "Fast Craps" Hanson is the perfect double-entendre nickname
your name was in the pokerap he did for my birthday on cameo lol
This comment deserves more likes
Except for the time Dan couldn't figure out how to pause while Arin pooped for 25 minutes
@@DocDeeISC He has fast craps, he just has _a loooot_ of them.
Tweety: Hey, puddy tat, what happened to all your money?
Sylvester: I ssppbent it all on gambling...
Also Sylvester: Suffering succotash.
Lmao, I read that in their voice two
The next Parappa video after Daffy
Arin does a good job of illustrating how casinos make money.
At first I thought he was going to explain the inner workings, and then I realized he just needs to be himself to show it
*has lost a net of 900 dollars* "I'm still in the game baby, its keeping me in the game, come on lucky 7s"
To go to a casino with these two would be a comedic riot.
@@patrickstovall2262 It's a video game; calm your shit.
@@patrickstovall2262 oh no he's wasting imaginary money in a one-off. what a freak!!
That Sylvester and Tweety game has a finished version on the Sega Genesis. It's called Sylvester and Tweety in Cagey Capers. It's incredibly short though with 30 minutes of gameplay.
Eyy! I figured someone would have some answers in the comments.
Probably why they dumped it. Such a weak concept for a game.
"30 minutes of gameplay?" You mean "two hours of Grumps gameplay" ;)
@@EmeraldLavigne Sounds about right.
This was the comment I was looking fir
Arin: "let's play roulette"
Me: *has flashbacks to dead or alive*
When Dan said "my outrage tank is empty, I'll be mad about this tomorrow," I felt that shit
“My outrage tank is empty” that’s a quote and a half and I like it
I used to work security at a casino, and I got good at spotting Arin-style gamblers: enthusiastic and very bad at gambling. And always very, very loud
And drunk I assume
@@kaylawoodbury2308 And how!
I deal table games and this is Physically Painful to watch. His blackjack game is SO BAD.
@@Gakukai I always felt bad for the table dealers. You guys catch the start of the tantrum every time.
Those are also the ones that if you sit down at a machine near them and they're already losing you hear "damnit I'm losing because this guy is bad luck"
Dan: "Do not come. Do not come."
Arin: "I'm gonna come."
I’m like a god damn gigalo! Ready to burst!
AND SHES SAYING JUST SIX MORE SECONDS
AT LEAST!!!
Arin for president

Former professional poker player here:
Arin's poker playing is a great representation of the Vegas tourist. Makes a few very questionable plays, still profits occasionally.
I have a question , is poker one of the few game that doesn't have a house edge in casinos?
@@BlueButterFlyXOXO I think In poker you are playing the other players don’t the house just get a cut of the pot?
@@Flyingcar100 Yeah they take a percentage of every pot, it's called ''rake''. So the house still always wins, but at least it's the only game on the floor you can actually be consistently profitable at.
@@BlueButterFlyXOXO in my own opinion all casino games have the house edge including poker. The only game I can think of where the player has an edge over the house is craps where you buy odds for your roll. Mind you it’s a small advantage but a advantage none the less
Of course he does, it's all just fucking luck.
*Loses $800 on slots*
Sheryl: "Here's $2000 for no reason"
Game: "You won $1200!!"
i’ve no idea what this game is but arin and gambling- OH GOD YES
I would love to believe that Arin would say all these things out loud at the table. I will pay any amount of money to be at that table.
I had a copy of this when I was a kid and it took me from novice to unwanted pro at family holiday poker games.
But I won a lot of money until they decided not to play for money anymore. 🤬

"There's some kind of betting method... ".
Gambler's ruin. It's called the Gambler's ruin method, Arin.
He then proceeds to raise his bet every time he loses
It technically works if your bank is infinite, the table has no limits, and you have even the slightest idea how to play the game.
Martingale method
@@ccggenius If your bank is infinite you don't need to worry about gambling methods
Great comment hope he sees this
Damn that was a really nicely made SNES game honestly, I could see someone in 1993 putting a lot of time into it
Dave Homestuck?!
It introduced me to gambling when I was 6
But not enough time to use the same car for both the intro talking scene and them pulling up in front of the hotel... XD
The first looks like a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass while the second looks like a 1969 Ford Mustang.
@@mysticsmaniacs Hey at least it was gambling with monopoly money... games these days are much more slot machiney with the microtransaction BS and actually turning kids in to problem gamblers.
My uncle throughly enjoyed all of it. It was my introduction to many gambling elements and carried over when I actually went to Vegas.
Lol the first minute of just finding out the game isn’t even a game
I had an almost IMMEDIATE flashback to the whole Soviet Jump Game saga 😂 no idea if this game is real or not but I'm very tempted to assume it isn't
I assumed it was a setup for a horror game.
Remember kids, when you go to the casino, bring a specific amount of cash you are willing to lose and do not bring any ATM or credit cards. You will feel a compulsion to win back your losses and fall into a deeper hole.
Source: former problem gambler
It's only a loss when you stop gambling
Usually when I go somewhere with a certain amount of money I'm okay spending, I expect to receive something in return. Goods, services, cheese curds...
Also, don’t gamble off your clothes as well.
@@matthewelliott7294 clothing is dumb enough already, but in las vegas it's practically criminal.
Oh my, an entire game where Arin’s raging gambling problem can go absolutely wild. I can’t wait.
... so the first thing Arin does in a Vagas blackjack game is NOT split a pair of aces?
I'm already on tilt.
I started backflipping in anger
The first time I ever screamed at the screen 🤣
Not only did he not split, but the next card was a Jack and they never noticed the missed opportunity for a blackjack. Please Arin, for your own good, stay away from Vegas forever.
@@jwareplays He's just SO dogshit sometimes. I don't understand it.
As a former dealer, I could hear the angry condemnations from the table regulars in my mind as clear as day. People get sucker-punched for that sort of thing
28:47 "I guess it's bad form to gamble with the money someone just gave you."
This is why Sheryl likes Arin so much
Arin:"Today we're gonna be playing Vegas Stakes."
Mr. Green:*shouting in the distance*
YEEEEAAAHHHHH... I AM INVINCIBLE
*pukes all over the blackjack table*
AND we get the origins of Steve! Apparently, his last name is Chuvis. Huh.
The betting strategy Arin is referring to at 7:30 is called the Martingale and it only works in theory if you have an unlimited bankroll and you're playing on a table with no maximum bet. Otherwise it will fail quite spectacularly
I made the mistake of taking a drink right as Dan said "don't roll on the come field."
I love how Arin simultaneously comes across as well-versed and completely unfamiliar with gambling.
2:32 You can tell Arin was about to go with a sassy black lady voice, but then reverts to his generic girl voice.
2015 arin would have done it in a heartbeat
@@daraariel6220 ...is this a like, sex cam bot? In UA-cam comments? On a game grumps video?
@@UhOphelia yeah pretty much.
I wish he did. It would've worked so well 😫
Hearing Arin say, “just one more…” “last one…” to gambling, is such a him thing to do
I’m really glad to see you play Vegas Stakes, I have a lot of good memories tied to this game. My mom tried to show interest in my hobbies, video games being one of them, and this is the one we played together the most. She passed away shortly before I graduated high-school and it was nice to bring back some of those great memories.
I used to play this on my parents SNES growing up. It was one of my favorites! Played it all the way to completion. I would love to see them play again, but actually go to the other casinos too. Kinda sad they missed out! Each place has such character between the different music and game designs.
Vegas Stakes… my father and I used to play this all the time! The music alone brings back awesome memories, thanks guys!
My sister and I used to play this game. Was so happy to see they played it. Wish they would do more of this game
This had all the energy of Arin walking into a crackhouse and Dan trying to pull him out as quickly as possible so he can get some help.
You could say Arin put it all on…Tweety Three… 😏
🤦♂️

Vegas Stakes was actually one of the rare SNES games that was compatible with the mouse you use in Mario Paint.
They should play Mario Paint
@@remakeme Arin was only an animator for like 3 years compared to the 10+ years being a let's player

Two aces.
*Screams at computer* "SPLIT!"
I can’t wait to see Arin lose an unhealthy amount of money *ONLY* betting on 23.
Doesn't really matter where you put your chips on the roulette table it's all negative expected value.
@@deltav864 It matters to an extent. If you just bet on a color it'll theoretically take longer to go broke.
@@deltav864 ok cool, but it was a joke.
I see it every day
@@deltav864 I mean, it does matter. Your odds of hitting just 23 is 1 in 38 while odds of hitting red or black is about 48%. You'll make a lot more money if 23 rolls, but the outside bets are much safer. Honestly, I've seen people win and lose using both methods but there's definitely a smart way and a risky way.
Now, in a week, just wait and it'll turn out the Grumps are releasing their "discovered" Silvester and Tweety: Soviet Toon Game.
Got mad vibes of this too hahahaha
Watching Arin gamble is the most painful experience. On an unrelated note, I’d love to go gambling with Arin, exclusively because he’s a cool dude and not at all because he appears to be terrible at gambling.
I love how when Arin always loses in roulette he always has that "It's Fine". As soon as I heard it I got flashbacks to Dead or Alive
Imagine everyone having an intervention for Arin and his gambling problem.
And Welcome back to "Horrible Addictions" in this episode we watch Arin H. as he loses his money, house and pride.
Yeah. I really hope this is a bit, or that he never gambles.
@@ScooterinAB i think he said at one time that he lost a lot of money in a casino but now its just a bit.
Everything including the kitchen sink.
Omg, I haven't seen Vegas Stakes in forever! Used to play that game at my grandmother's place.
Though kinda remember the artwork being a bit...unsettling lol
Also, why is the sound design also kinda unsettling too? lol
I knew this would be interesting when he hit instead of splitting those aces.
I'd upvote this, but you presently have a blackjack.
@@Archgeek0 I saw that too but the game didnt count it as a blackjack which was weird
Standing on soft 16 was fun too
I'll be sure to join whatever table he plays at
When Arin didnt split aces i immediately knew how this episode was going to go. 😂
I really appreciate these random old school game episodes.
Arin not realizing he doesn't have unlimited money until he starts to gamble speaks volumes about his approach to gambling, even without the infamous 23 bit
Man, I really love these random older games. These are so enjoyable.
I wanna see a 10 min power hour (post backstreet boys reunion tour ofc) where they give Arin 1k and let him loose in Vegas and just follow him with a camera
Wait wait you’re telling me Arin “poop joke” Hanson had a chance to play a game called Craps which practically gives him unlimited poop jokes and it’s not the first game he goes to? Unsubscribing 😡
It's nice how Arin makes sure we know he's terrible at this right from the start by NOT splitting a pair of aces like a total dweeb
Wow they actually had an unreleased/unfinished game this time
A nostalgic favorite of both me and my brother. We played this religiously back in the early '90s. We had an odd attraction to Maria. Nice to see the Grumps come around to it.
Hearing Arin so seriously say "I'm gonna come" Had me fucking rolling. Oh my god I woke up my housemate I was laughing so hard.
Arin is one of those dudes at the Craps Table that walks away with his props still working.
I would say leave with a winning come bet just sitting there haha
This music takes me back! I used to play Vegas stakes as a kid all the time at my cousins house!! Wow.
Funny story. I too lost my shirt in Vegas. Went to the pool and took it off. Someone stole it while we were swimming.... Good times.
Used to play Vegas Stakes all the time as a kid, loved it so much!
Watching Arin play blackjack hurt my soul.
I felt physical pain immediately in the first few hands
As a craps dealer, this hurts my everything
@@garfieldicus6223 The very first move was painful. Two aces? That's split o'clock!
I guarantee that if Arin played real blackjack, he might either be really good at it or ridiculously horrible at it.
@@skymagiollie582 as a craps player I had to stop watching lol
Wow, this brings back SO many memories! My sister and I used to sit in our livingroom and play this game for hours and hours. I have all of the background music memorized lol
"look at your sad crotch, dude." - my personal favorite thing Dan has said
Some of these short game episodes are solid gold.
"Wtf, how do I get out?" - the ONLY time you'll hear Arin say that in a Casino
Omg, finally! I loved vegas stakes as a kid! Thanks for playing this!
Arin! You always split aces!
This is such nostalgia for me, thanks for playing this obscure game! Hope to see more Mario RPG soon!
24:42 As the AI raises it 5 times to practically that already! All the while Arin is just rambling to himself how _surprised_ everyone's going to be.
* Yes Arin, scare off the "Raise $300" group with your $180 _slam it on the table..._
Yeah it doesn't help that the CPU is most assuredly just reading what you have to prevent that exact tactic lol. You can't bluff a computer.
4:26 Dan's sneezes are hilarious 🤣😂😂
I love watching this kind of Grump content. More please!
Vegas Stakes actually has a place in my heart. When i was kid my grandparents had this and mario world for the SNES, you unlock different casinos as you get richer and to win the game you need to max out the counter.
Actually every casino but the big no limits high-roller one is unlocked from the start and you unlock it once you reach $100,000 or $1 million. I wish they would have clicked 'leave casino' even one time so they could have seen the list of other casinos out there. Golden Paradise is the most bland of all of them
Watching Arin not split aces on that first hand and then getting a 10 on the next card hurts my soul
Omg. Thank you. This was my mother's favorite game to play with me when I was like 5 or 6, but we could never remember what it was called.
This is/was one of my favourite snes games. ❤️ It’s a shame that once you hit the highest amount, the game is finished, you type in your dream or wish, credits roll, then your wish is shown.
I would have loved to see every game characters’ wishes come true.
I wanted closure. 😂
Wow, my sister and I used to rent this from a local video store back in the day. We usually just played the slots until we got bored, but what a blast from the past! Arin got lucky with that guy asking for money, there's more than a few con artists floating about.
When I saw the title, I thought they were gonna play a gambling game starring Sylvester and Tweety. Haha
The chaotic energy of that intro was immaculate
YESSSSSS another old SNES I use to play. Love it
I played Vegas Stakes as a little kid. It was one of the two games we had for our Super NES and I couldn’t play the basketball game. I was like 5 or 6 probably so all I could play was the slots. This literally took me back.
I already know the answer without watching. You bet it all on 23 ‼️
Releases a Patreon and posts a video about gambling in the same week.
Ah yes, my money is in good hands.
Oh my God Dan's sneeze. Bless you. It made me laugh so hard
Vegas Steaks, is an absolute treasure of a game! Had it growing up. Before i learned a lot of the games, i remember playing the slots for hours. Love you boys!
Vegas Stakes is one of the rare games that my parents (mostly my mom) loved haha. This game and Super Caesar's Palace were our jam. I always loved in this game making it to the locked high roller casino. I also liked that they give you different casinos with different themes to go to so it keeps it a little less repetitive.
Ya i wish they would check some of the other casinos. The wild west one was my grandpas favorite and always won crazy big on their slots
It’s nice to see them visit the historical sight of Mr.Greenz
I like how there were 5 people chilling in a 2 seater car
Funny that you guys post a Vegas game on the day I head back to Vegas, staying @ Luxor. Wish me luck.
21:18
"You're definitely waking up in a bathtub with your kidney's missing"
OMG I'm laugh crying.
Whoa... That opening to "Vegas Stakes" gave me flashbacks to my childhood! I distinctly remember my parents renting this game for the SNES and playing it for HOURS.
13:55 Dan referencing Two Kings by Tenacious D, I appreciated that little reference
Black Jack, Texas Hold em, and bullshit are my jam, Arin finally playing actual gambling games, sweetness.
I love Vegas Stakes! My oldest brother had this when we were kids and I made sure to buy it as an adult! I was wondering when they would get to it with Arin's love for gambling...
"This is how you do it" Oh yes Arin because your gambling is always SO successful.
Thanks for inspiring me to google Blackjack rules at 7 am. I feel like I learned sth today 👌
Oh my god, Vegas Stakes? My family played A TON of this when I was a kid. I still remember the music from a lot of the casinos. I'm just sad they didn't realize that they could go to different casinos.
They write out 6 and 9 on the craps table to help reduce confusion with security cameras if there is a bet dispute.
Oh man, I played a lot of this as a kid! There is some pretty funny random encounters on the casinos, and the other casinos are amazing, different themes and music! It felt great unlocking them little by little. I also learned how easy it was to loose money, and decided to never gamble in my life. xD
One of my favorite games of all time. I spent a lot of time sick as a kid playing this game with my mother who would play this with me!
We always aimed to win it big on the slots~
You had me at Arin and Gambling 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW HARD I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THAT Y'ALL ARE PLAYING VEGAS STAKES! For years I only thought my siblings and I just made this game up, like it was some sort of shared fever dream. I asked so many people over time like, have you ever heard of this game? And nobody has! Im SO PUMPED! Thank you for the ultimate nostalgia!!!
