I've been on Mint for 2 years now and its been great for me. Pay my bill once a year and then don't worry about anything for 12 months. Literally the only time I've ever even talked to customer service was when I first ported my phone number from at&t - I had some issue (don't even remember what it was now, maybe because I was porting from a prepaid plan?) and it did take 24hrs to get everything working properly. But ever since then, nothing but great service and coverage. Plus you get random voicemails from Ryan Reynolds every once in a great while which are pretty hilarious lol.
Im going renew my account and test it again to review them for my followers. I have had them on and off and I really dont have issues where I live and stay as far as customer care and using the app and coverage and data use.
....I bought a Samsung smart phone on HSN, a few years ago...I think I had a Track Phone plan with it ..If it was a locked phone then, is it unlocked now?.... Could I put a sim in it, from another phone....You mention hot spot...How does Blue Tooth function, and use data....Is that a better way to use another phone, with it's data?.....
Iv'e had mint mobile for 2 years now. Great service, no problems, switching phones is easy. Great pricing! I don't use 5g, I don't want to increase my chances of getting cancer. 4G is just fine.
I’m curious about the price increase after the promo period. I’m interested in the year long $15 plan for me and my wife, but can’t seem to find any info on what the price will be after the year.
I'm due for my 3 mos. renewal and with taxes and such it will be about double for me! Which I wasn't expecting. So instead of $45 plus taxes and fees every 3 mos. it will be about $80 something! I am not able right now to pay a whole year in advance.
Be cool if she had mint mobile so we can hear her experience. Most likely switching to mint mobile though since AT&T won't except unlocked phones from other carriers. Mint mobile is compatible with my Vivo x60pro 5g unlocked phone and my brothers unlocked galaxy s21 ultra 5g which are phones do not work anymore due to AT&T shutting down the 3G network since Monday, we can text and use are data but can't make outgoing calls or get incoming calls. AT&T is going to lose alot of costumers that have unlocked phones and they will be switching to a mobile carrier that accepts unlocked phones.
Problem with mint is for people that travel alot its pretty bad, for usa only customers is ok, but for anyone that travels, its most expensive in usa when you add data roaming, I almost could not believe for 1gb data it's $60.
I travel a bit, I read mint mobile has issues overseas...can I ask who u use now? I was on tmobile, but in my area fl & I was paying $100/mo 2 lines & spotty service....tmobile sucks here... So I switched to reach mobile who uses Verizon towers.... Reach mobile u can buy roaming package ontop of plan & only buy when u travel internationally $15 roaming package & if u dont use it all that gets applied 2 ur bill (I did 8gb plan, I mainly use wifi for data...when I traveled/non wifi at best I used 5gb of data) hope it helps
@@littlebritian2822 if you travel best plan is with t mobile the magenta plan if you are 55 and over it's only $$70 per month including all taxes. If you are not 55 and over. Your pretty much screwed as they all rip off people. Best thing is to buy sim card at country you are in .
I use over 400gb a month mint mobile is a no go also the unlimited data is only 35gb of fast data before slowing down to 2g speeds lol 35 gb is easy to use watch 4k videos by bypass 480p limit with VPN.
I tried Mint and had nothing but problems. I had absolutely horrible service so they tried sending me different sim cards but nothing worked. This all happened for my first three months. They got me by sending the 4th sim card just as I had to renew or have no cell service so I renewed. Then 2 days later when the 4th sim didn't work I cancelled and the refuse to give me my refund. Now when I call they give me people who can barely speak English and put me on hold for ridiculous amounts of time. This has been an absolute nightmare. I would choose someone else if your thinking about trying Mint because if something goes wrong they will not give you a refund!
I have wasted over 4 hours of my life on their customer support. Should you ever have an issue and they promise a refund, do not expect to receive it. They promise but fail to deliver (at least in my case). They buy data from other carriers, so the coverage is OK, but their service they seem to make extremely poor. It seems intentional. No chat is less than 1 hour even though I have a simple line cancel request and provide all of the information up front.

@@anorton4821 Actually AT&T does have a T-Mobile channel as a backup although it's a cellphone only network which dose not have smartphone broadband services. When I tried mint I was always stuck on AT&T channel even though I had a T-Mobile Android with perfect service at the same time.
Seniors or people who are not good at technical stuff should stay away from Mint Mobile because they send defective sims cards and then have you scrambling all over your phone to fix it -- going into settings and places you didn't even know existed -- with the result being that your phone now is completely dead. Then they stop returning calls and when you ask to go back to your previous carrer they say you have wait 10 days -- even though you've already gone that long without any phone service or internet _over the holidays!_ Then to top it off, after you spent money you couldn't afford to buy a new phone and prepaid program from T-Mobile and tell Mint to cancel your account, they send an email basically saying (paraphrasing here) suck on it loser. We got your money and we're not giving it back. According to Mint giving refunds is not in their policy. It's an email I will be posting on UA-cam along with the short screen play I'm writing: _Ryan Reynolds Ruined My Christmas & Made Me Broke._ I wonder if Mr. Reynolds would like to play the part that is me in the story? Although that does involve pacing around a lot with your gut arching from sadnesses and, later, episodes of swearing and screaming at walls as Mint abandons you. Not sure he has the chops.

I'm making the switch, just ordered my sim. Plus Ryan Reynolds is the man !
Visible is not actually an MVNO. Verizon owns and operates them. It's kind of their test-bed for prepaid being pure LTE/5G only no older tech.
Also to see if they can get away with a little tech support as possible.

Enjoy your videos! I recently did a Mint Mobile review video myself and am always curious to hear other opinions on it.
what GB plan do you use for mint mobile

When is Mint Mobile Coming To Canada?
Can you review reach mobile?

Thanks
I really just use mint mobile because ryan reynolds owns it
How much is a month unlimited internet
Why dont you try believing in yourself instead?
Lol... Right?!!!😂 No brainer
With Verizon family of 5+ lines. $35 with taxes nd fees. Start Unlimited plan.

Leading off 10 reasons with “because Ryan Reynolds owns it” is not calculated to make me look favorably on this service.
Then don’t. It’s your choice

Mint has terrible customer service. I paid and ordered. Never did get that SIM card. Lots of messages and phone calls. Waited weeks. Avoid.
Why are we scrambling to find cheaper phone service??? Govt? Sad forcing us into technology that we
have to have but can’t afford
Mint is not unlimited on there 30 dollar plan after 35gbs it slows down to 2G speeds
if I buy the 12 month 15 dollar plan for $180. will it be $180 again when I renew after the year is up?
No. The $180 for a year is an introduction plan. It will go up. But still cheaper than other "big" companies
Depending on your taxes. One year was $203 for the 4 gb plan.
Anyone having a problem using RCS on mint mobile? I just switched and it's not letting me use RCS.
I think you sold me on US mobile Sherri!
