Very first story is throwing me for a dang loop tho, wasting everyone's time and money to have a nonsense trial about "perjury" over a dating app encounter... While heading to the airport, showing you don't value either the judge nor the other dude's time regardless.
Double regardless tho, uhhhhh perjury is when you lie under oath, specifically. Not in general. Wut.

"This isn't Burger King! You can't have it your way!"
Direct quote from my middle school P.E. teacher at least three times a day in like 1996. Wasn't quite expecting comedy gold from a watch mojo video, but damn guys, you can set the bar a wee bit higher than this. Nothing about that last story should have been anyone's #1 material.

This isn't Karen's- this is the kids that ran their parents lives, and this is how they treated their parents, and how they got their way with their parents and any other adult they've encountered. These people are created by their families because they condone this behavior - now here we are with this happening to authority figures. Never have seen this before. My hometown, put you under the jail
No respect for the law or the court or the judge. No one ever taught them that. Here's what becomes of that

Granted I’ve never been in court for anything horrifically bad, but the times I’ve been before a judge were not things I took lightly
I try to dress formal-ISH… I never want to look like I’m just going to the convenience store because the court has a basic level of dress expectation (whether it be written or not) but I also don’t want to dress excessively flashy or “upper crust”/5* restaurant nice… easy since I have nothing even remotely close to nice enough for a super-high end dining establishment… I want to dress like I’m taking it seriously but that I’m also nothing special
In terms of attitude, the one I go with is simple… the easier and dare I say genuinely pleasant I am, the more likely they might be to give me the benefit of the doubt or perceive me as someone that has/will learn from his mistake(s)
It’s not a sure thing of course, but that’s literally the formula to having a shot at a positive outcome
Extend initial respect of “sir or ma’am”, “please and thank you”, maintain neutral body language… it isn’t a casual weekend at the park so don’t act overly loose, but in you don’t want to be unsettlingly rigid or robotic. You want to be passively charismatic without “trying” to be charismatic because that’s virtually impossible to do without coming off as fake
Maintain ~natural~ eye contact without outright staring. Don’t speak too softly nor too firmly. If you have documents, be sure to be as organized as possible
Don’t speak unless spoken to; you’ll get your chances to speak so the last thing you want to do is interrupt either council or especially not the judge
I dunno, like I said, none of this is a surefire way to get a good outcome, but it’s a better shot than anything these people had
