    this bike still weigh 245lbs. The 2018 245lbs CR250 gimmick dual exhaust is about as fast as a peacock in a head wind. Why would the ama get rid of the 125 2 stroke the biggest selling dirt bike in he world. Kids now days are wimps. In the 90s we kick started our bikes and had light switch 2 stroke power.

    Good work guys Racer X and the TD guys seem on point. Did thumbs up you guys👍
    But Honda Honda Honda, where have you been the last decade, now you look like a KTM follow KTM, the All,new bike engine is using much of KTMs tech yet stupidly uses 2 headers 2 silencers for what benefit, it hasn’t been a world beater it dosent have any advantage over other stock bikes, Honda used to be the leader in performance for low cost and simplicity esp in the 2 stroke era, no gimmicks.
    And now use KTM tech to make your bike competitive, the once kings of the 125 class, 250 and 500 class, now followers, bike even looks like a KTM with these plastics and graphics, needed to go with Red and Blue, imo Blue Seat, red white looks to much like Orange and white. What as happened at Honda.

      Are "they using KTM tech" or is it a aftermarket company using Keihin throttlebody made for KTM ?

    • @maverick2242
      @maverick2242 6 років тому

      blomgren182 Well they were the ones mentioning the KTM using that terminology throttle body, most of the engine innovations sort from dual exhausts are what KTM have developed a few years back. But maybe an aftermarket version as you say, still made to that specc though.

      The dual headers/exhaust adds more tourque then the single

    • @maverick2242
      @maverick2242 6 років тому

      Roosted Mx Well that’s the theory! and on a street bike where this shit is coming from it makes more sense but in practicality and in results I don’t see it, on the dirt, I also don’t own one so I am only going on what I perceive, but it ain’t no world beater and that’s my point!
      It is similar to the reverse engine Yamaha have the concept is great but in off road what has it changed, it not like disc brakes, water cooling, long travel, single rear shock did to MX bikes, those things changed the sport and all bikes and brands and actually sent many brands to the after life, it was a game changer in performance that forced others to go down that road or die, this to me has just complicated and increased cost for similar performance at best to the competition. And the 250 certainly didn’t produce more torque than the Yamaha or KTM which is the benchmark conventional 4t engine.
