- For this build, we went to our old reliable: a big-bore kit on a Honda CRF250R makes it way more fun to ride, and adding Twisted Development to the mix can make it even better. Also, the Vortex ignition (mapped by Jamie at Twisted) allows the bike to rev with the big-bore. A big-bore alone in most 250Fs can add 2 to 4 horsepower, and Twisted’s mods and mapping can boost that to 7 or even 9, so it’s quite significant when ripping it around the track.

We all know most folks cannot afford a 10k bike and another $5k for a "big bore" kit
Pipes, ECU, porting, big bore kit, clutch, youre going to be at least $5000 dollars. So not exactly a performance upgrade for the working class guy like they say. I spend less than that on my whole race bike

Asked him how much it costs and it’s like he got off topic on purpose to not say how much it costs to do the big bore kit and everything and then can’t even tell the horsepower numbers what’s up with that?!!!! He said it’s a spec for them pretty much so I know he has put one on the dino!!! Other then that good video.
if I was racing the Ama 250 series I would 10000% chuck a big bore on it.

@@333studios. it's against the rules, but the ama don't check any of the bikes. There are probably privateers running big bore kits and they don't know.
