PC Case Explained: Sizes, Air Pressure, Budget and More

I love talking about the computer case, I think it's one of the best ways to express your personal flair in your build. In this video, we discuss the PC case, what you should consider when buying one and how much you should spend.

The case is probably the most subjective part of an entire computer build. Most of this will come down to personal taste because after all, you’re going to be the one looking at it all the time. Budget will be another consideration although there are dozens of types of case at every budget.
Another large factor will be the size of your motherboard. There are various sizes of motherboard and usually a case can support one and the next smallest size. If you have particularly large GPU or CPU cooler, these will also be considerations you’ll have to make.
One consideration that is not subjective should be the airflow provided to your internals. You'll want to try for neutral pressure, allowing air to flow in and out of your case at the same rate. This will keep dust and heat from accumulating in your case.
