That dash behind the wheel is so cool how it changes from blue to purple to pink to red so he knows when to change gear It’s the little things that make a car for me most mods are standard these days but never seen anyone do that before

@@moneyslap415 Teddy gets in the paint and races. The vlogger seems to mess more stuff up doing baby pulls than actually going on the track and really seeing what these cars are made of.

Those 3:31 gears seem so long, I have a 2019 GT with 3:73 and it looks a world of difference. If I have the gas planted, it seems like every 3-4 seconds Im shifting
Depends on build 3:73 are really good for NA builds...I have a supercharger and 3:73 I’m not using the power band as much as I would like so dropping down to 3:31. It’s a topic easy to search up if you a curious and want a better explanation.
idk I do alot of roll racing in my 2012 gt and the 331s are pretty freaking sweet I find. In stop and go traffic sure it feels like it takes a little to get to the power but when doing pulls it feels good and still feels like in doing alot of shifting when going from 1-3
The 18 up has different gearing in the manual. 373 is actually long on those it's similar to 331 on these older cars. The 11-17 mt82 had much more aggressive gearing. 373 is fine for boost on an 18 plus car. Especially a centrifugal car.

I really wish he would’ve gone more in depth about the engine
You can run gen 2 heads long as you run gen 1 timing components. Some do gen 3 short block for the 12:1 compression, and gen 2 heads and gen 1 timing components people refer to it as the 3-2-1 build.
@@midnight347I have a 14 Gt 5.0 manual with 24k miles in Ruby Red. I want to do a 2-2-1 lol. Plan on doing a Paxton NOVI 2200SI so lower compression will be better.
That's a nice S197. Wish mine was a 2nd gen S197. I've got a 3 valve. Needs paint, lowered, cams a supercharger and a tune.

Nice. The S197 platform is so much lighter than the S550. You'll eat my gen 2 S550 for lunch.
It's not as much lighter as people think it is. Base model vs base model it's like 75-100 lbs give or take. It Def helps but it's not this huge difference like everyone makes it out. I prefer the s197 because of the solid axle. It's easier and cheaper to hold more power.
