    for SSDs reliability should be preferred than outright transfer speed. T7 is one of the most reliable SSDs in the market for some time.

      I just said that on another video. They all talk speeds. Don't care long as my data don't get scrapped😅 but on the flip side not many people can say yet its lasted decades

    I've been a professional video editor for over 2 decades. I don't know ANY editors who put footage on the internal drive. Due to wear and tear we always use external storage, FYI.

    so, for macbook users, you would recommend the T7 or T7 shield?

    • @adamtalkstech
      @adamtalkstech  3 місяці тому

      Shield is more durable, but a little bulkier.

    Nice video Adam, as always. I have a couple of T7: one T7 touch for security and one T7 shield.
    I use the touch one for backup files and important things, while I use the shield as a boot drive for my old iMac from late 2015. It is such a massive upgrade from the old HDD in that iMac!

    Do you recommend this for using large file? Transfers I do a lot of software programming on cars and the USB flex drives that I have bought in. I have all taken a crap they overheat and then they just stopped working.
