This is so cool. I stopped playing the game for about 2 and a half years and I come back to see you still playing it and recommending builds and stuff.
I have a lmg with the ICU but I use the perk where when your armor breaks you get movement speed and since you have no armor it's always broke so you move stupid fast all the time
@@b33croft it works and it's amazing I would definitely say give it a try if you want something different and if you use some silencer skills with it you can have pinpoint accuracy
Before this video, I didn't even know the existence of Stoic skillset. This build is insane. But, I wanted to ask you if you had any alternatives to the HE rounds Judge, since I don't have all the DLCs.
I just stumbled across this video on accident but hearing your voice brings memories of when i used to play payday 2 so much and watch your videos to learn how to play some heist in stealth or the best builds to do loud ones, it's crazy as soon as i heard your voice i thought about the good times i had on this game Best of luck to you dude
@@devildevil1223 this is true for almost every deck (except Rogue cause "what damage"), but at least stoic comes with some kind of one shot protection, where even the Rogue can get one sniper bullet and be sucking their thumb in the corner for a medic bag. that is the thing Stoic can eschew doctor bags, but when playing in a team, you should bring what your team needs, and doesn't have, but you get a team of 4 stoics, everyone has some level of skill (especially playing on DSOD), and maybe only one person needs to spec into Doctor bags, you get 4 Grinders on DSOD and 2-3 people better have Doctor Bags, or it is gonna suck, and even then it probably still will suck.
@@gardian06_85 Too right mate, but at least you don't have to depend on Doctor Bags for survival. You can take Jack Of All Trades and take Ammo and Doctor Bags without spending all your skill points on them and still help the team
Since I play with bots I usually shuffle sum points around from ur builds such as inspire aced and quick fix ace for better jokers or more points for my shotgun
Thx man I’ve been running stoic for almost a week and I am loving it so much I don’t get destroyed so much anymore on higher difficulty and harder missions
And I have a tip for smashing flashbangs 1. If you are not close to a flashbang, it's better to shoot it than trying to melee it, actually seeing is better than being flashbanged and possibly saving 1-2 ammo 2. If you already know you have no time to smash a flashbangs, flick 180 degrees from the flashbang to decrease the effect of it. 3. Use sound, if you hear that beeping sound, try to search for a flashbang, look for a red light, then shoot in the middle of this light, this is especially a good tip with shotguns, because of their spread. Also good with a fast hitting melee, I hope these tips will help your team to not get flashbanged
Wait I still dont get how to get ur health back, like sometimes hes super low on health cuz a dozen comes and then after killing it hes suddenly back up
@@tommylakasi3022 If you drink the flask (grenade button) then you get the health back. If you don't get shot for a few seconds, that's another way to get it back.
I explain in the video mate. So the damage you take is hurting you over time, you see the damage by the broken line in your health bar. As soon as you use the hip flask you get 50% of that broken health bar back as regen health
Your videos are killer, they offer amazing suggestions on how to quickly spec yourself well in a new tree and how to use it. I really appreciate you making these in 2020 still.
I built this just yesterday after reaching lvl 100, and i gotta admit its super fun playing it, even though i couldnt completely have the exact skills. im using with the lmg and loving it!
I swear there's a mechanic with stoic where like. The 50% health regen is based off of damage you have to take over time rather than whats on your health bar. You could be wittled down at like 10% health by a sniper, drink your flask and suddenly you get a third or half of your health back. Am i just drunk off of stoic or is that genuinely a strat?
Probably not helpful anymore but if you have 50 health left but 200 damage to take and use your flask, it will give you 100 health, hence why it's better on high difficulties. Basically, half of what damage you would receive is converted to health, not half of the damage on your healthbar
This build is amazing, just goes to show why the meta is what it is. Is it broken? perhaps. Is it fun? certainly. You also forgot to mention that you can spec into taking the big brother magazine if you use a 33 Concealment bronco, which what I usually rock. That said, you can also spec into different weapons like the long-forgotten Cavity 9mm and go for crits. You can also even spec into crazier shotguns like the AA-12 and go for Aced Low Blow builds due to not needing dodge. Or maybe go a bit ballsy and use a viable minigun build out of all things.
Towards the end of the demonstration, he seems to be regening a little bit of health despite taking no damage from the sniper above at 10:27 and onwards whilst opening the electrical panel. How is this happening? Or did I read the stoic perk deck wrong?

Yep, yeah, I went saw some of your other videos and was looking through the infamy tree when saw the stuff about the 10% point decrease. Lv.5 infamy cant come soon enough
the 30% armor increase from iron man basic gives 21-27 hp extra to your 300-320 hp depending on what ballistic armor you wear. If you pick underdog aced, you get 10% less damage, which basically equals 30-32 hp. It's also 1 point less expensive than iron man basic, but underdog only activates when enemies are somewhat close. Just something I wanted to point out for people to consider when trying to make a stoic build.
I have a question about the whole first aid kits instead of doctor bags, I play payday 2 mostly by myself and I don’t really need to worry about the bots eating my doctor bags so is there a work around. What should I dump points into because I don’t really like dropping a first aid when I’m about to die..
b33croft I played an online match and now I do kind of realize why the first aids are good but no one ever brings med bags so I might just ace that one perks for the two deployables. Thanks man

It’s because of your infamy level mate. With infamy unlocks you get access to the skill tiers in a couple less points. I put my old cringey video in the description where I explain it a little

I play stoic in real life. Sadly my playtime with the deck is limited due to the random ass health debuffs that excessive use seems to bring, my main perk deck is "braindead" not very meta
This also seems like a very good VR build if you can properly manage your health, included with the interaction damage reduction, and the shotgun perks.
So, what's the recommended style for a returning casual player from 2014? I don't understanf the game that much, should I go for LMG? I guess I want something that doesn't require that much skill to utilize correctly, let's just say the noobproof style
Sorry, deleted my old comment by accident when I wanted to edit it. Anyway, Stoic and Kingpin are probably gonna replace my Grinder deck. Though having to relearn these new decks are a pain because I've been using Grinder since it came out.

I run a similar build to the heavy shotgunner but with akimbo brothers grimm 12 gauge with big brother magazine shark teeth nozzle and 000 buck its pretty fun
I like to bring some Goliath akimbos instead of shizhma, with LBV and low blow ace I also get up to 27% crits just with the cause of losing Health (no Iron man). The damage you can deal with those weapons is absolute nuts.
Die hard aced doesn't give you more health though, it states it gives more armor and while that sounds like it would translate to having more health, it doesn't actually give you any more, however basic iron man does.
This is great stoic build mate my friend gifted me the gage spec ops pack and im doing pretty good with izhma dodge form your builds thanks for the build mate
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I can't get Iron Man the way you're showing. I ace Resilience, Die Hard and Transporter, but it says I still need a skill somewhere to open Iron Man.
@@b33croft What do you do to deal with snipers and shields with this build? My Armorer build used flechette rounds in the Raven shotgun and the stagger skill in Enforcer.
you can use those also mate, I'd switch a couple of points around to take the akimbo skill in gunslinger if you do though, that's what I do when I play with those!
I did everything as you said and i still can't get the detection risk you have with the izma build. Is there something i'm doing wrong? I have infamy 24 if you are wondering

@@b33croft I'm pretty sure. It's pretty straightforward. Concealment barrel, grip, stock and forearm. Ammo doesn't change concealment and I have no gadgets or sights. Unless the skin for the Izthma gives some concealment boost?
5:07 Transporter Aced doesn't help with bag moving because you have no Armor. (Right?). Build doesn't change; You still have to spend the 4 points to unlock Iron Man Basic, and Transporter Basic works, but you have to waste the points (like Inner Pockets Aced in Suit Sneaky Bastard Builds.)

Regening health without the perk deck was through using the hostage taker skill mate. Having jokered cops regens health

I've been using the low conceal izhma, i've been wondering if LMG is more fun than shotgun is.
It’s equally as fun mate, especially with Surefire aced and body expertise, just keep spraying and every shot hits!

Well the first aid kits are a survival mechanism for these builds. If you find you never use them then maybe take ammo

I run a similar build to the heavy shotgunner but with akimbo brothers grimm 12 gauge with big brother magazine shark teeth nozzle and 000 buck its pretty fun

I like to bring some Goliath akimbos instead of shizhma, with LBV and low blow ace I also get up to 27% crits just with the cause of losing Health (no Iron man). The damage you can deal with those weapons is absolute nuts.

Die hard aced doesn't give you more health though, it states it gives more armor and while that sounds like it would translate to having more health, it doesn't actually give you any more, however basic iron man does.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I can't get Iron Man the way you're showing. I ace Resilience, Die Hard and Transporter, but it says I still need a skill somewhere to open Iron Man.

@@b33croft What do you do to deal with snipers and shields with this build? My Armorer build used flechette rounds in the Raven shotgun and the stagger skill in Enforcer.
Why not using akimbo goliaths? They deal huge amount of damage.
you can use those also mate, I'd switch a couple of points around to take the akimbo skill in gunslinger if you do though, that's what I do when I play with those!
I did everything as you said and i still can't get the detection risk you have with the izma build. Is there something i'm doing wrong? I have infamy 24 if you are wondering

Hmmm I’m not sure mate. You did the attachments the exact same way too?
@@b33croft I'm pretty sure. It's pretty straightforward. Concealment barrel, grip, stock and forearm. Ammo doesn't change concealment and I have no gadgets or sights. Unless the skin for the Izthma gives some concealment boost?
5:07 Transporter Aced doesn't help with bag moving because you have no Armor. (Right?). Build doesn't change; You still have to spend the 4 points to unlock Iron Man Basic, and Transporter Basic works, but you have to waste the points (like Inner Pockets Aced in Suit Sneaky Bastard Builds.)
Exactly mate, it’s either spend that 4 or spend more in order to get iron man, a slight waste but worth it

I just did a grinder build mate, I believe I had Grimm shotguns on that so just switch those out for the izhma!
Can you do a street sweeper build? The shotgun is really good and using he round on it is out of this world good.
