- Europa League is back and we're playing Granada in the Round of 16 tomorrow night. Here is my tactical preview on how we can beat them...

You dont go 2nd team in the first leg man... you go to Granada and KILL them, then you play 2nd team in the home match
We've seen in the past Ole keeping Bruno, Rash, Pogba on the bench and after 60 minutes bringing them all on and finishing the game off.. Could be a similar scenario

Spurs are a pain, but I'm not that worried.
Leicester I have a feeling will beat us.
Liverpool I think we'll draw.
And people need to remember Wolves are not the same team they were the last few seasons. In fact, Wolves and Leeds are beautiful fixtures because they have nothing to play for.
We're comfortable in the league. Go for the jugular in Europe now.
Problem is these First team players will somehow make the game boring and Granada will be still in the tie so that means no 2nd team players in second leg. I don't care the 2nd team will give better results and better gameplay than some first teamers
I think ole will play James and Amad on the opposite flanks, he tends to prefer playing inside wingers cutting in on strong feet. Think this could be a good game to bring Williams in for AWB at right back

I think Amad is gonna start. Ole hinted at him getting a start either tomorrow or soon enough, and I think Grenada away is the perfect opportunity
I'll be surprised if that amount rototion is done. I'd expect DeGea, McTominay to start and maybe James for Rashford.

As much as I agree with this squad, you know how we perform when we heavily rotate, we play mostly shit. I know full well Ole’s going to play one of his strongest teams.
its not like its some league one team in the league cup would be stupid to rotate so much. Amad, VDB, James and greenwood, lots of ability (excluding james) but very limited experience and that counts for alot in a knockout tie.
Rashford should get rest as he went off in pain last match and come on for last 20min. Donny and bruno should start together and use the left winger as a second number 10 like we did at the end against brighton

I like the line only things i would change are swap james and amad position wise and give tuanzebe a game
Love the line up but I just can't see both amad and james starting from Oles past record he wouldn't do it but I hope he has the guile, trust and I hope you are rightiit could create the excitement of old that has been missing for a considerable time. A great opportunity to develop Ole's fledglings.
I would swap James and amad then play Tuanzebe at cb because victor has been facing back issues and 2 games in 4 days wouldn’t be good

That squad is over ambitious to say the least , I still see a pogba mctominay midfield with Amad on the bench , making too many changes wouldn’t make sense , knowing ole he will stick to what he knows and do the same for the Spurs game . GGMU
I'm a Molde supporter, Granada is not really a good team. We beat Hoffenheim in the first round, but they were much much better. I'm 100% sure United will win whatever the lineup is to be honest.
I like that line up. I would switch James & Amad just cuz James is a more natural LW. But, when James does play on the right, he does a good job of holding that width. Honestly, it doesn't really matter then. I would rather see Pogba in for the first 60min till we get a good lead then put in Scotty 2 Hotty. I'm gunning for a 3-0 win against a decent side away. We need to communicate better @ the back. That was a crap goal that we conceded the other day. Can't be doing that this late in a euro comp. Come on United! UTFR UTFP GGMU👍💪
As much as it seems Donny only gets game time as cover for Bruno, I think he should play tgt with him. I'd have him at LM for us, I really dk what Granada would do but my guess is that they might sit deep in the early stages and I think James and Amad's pace may be nullified. Need someone with ability on the ball and great movement to help make space and I think Donny fits that bill.
Saw that on the weekend with Donny making the run to pull Ben White out of position and then Shaw could slot the ball through for Bruno, Donny didn't stop there and continued making the run into the box checking direction about a couple of times and Ben White totally lost him and ended up on the goal line to try and block Mason's header. If Mason wasn't there to finish the chance, Pogba's ball was going to Donny who I would have backed to score.
It doesn't matter if you nullify amads pace , his all round ability makes him a weapon against any block , low mid or high .....but yeah well spotted about dvb .
I've heard Granada are quite a strong and physical team. So that front line looks a little lightweight.
I would go with tuanzebe or baily with maguire and maybe ethan laird on rb , they have a lot to prove.

OGS has got burned in quarter/ semi finals when he's rotated. I think he'll go stronger.
I genuinely didn't know a single granada player, so I look them up, and they are 9th in La Liga, and they've got Luis Suarez and Roberto Soldado up front hahahahaha. If you told a Man Utd fan in 2013, that in 8 years time, we'd be playing a Spanish team in a European quarterfinal with a lad called Luis Suarez, and Roberto Soldado up front, they'd think we're playing Barcelona in the CL QF, not bloody Granada in the EL LMAO

Ole is definitely not stating that heavily rotated side, certainly not in the first leg.
No team offers us space in behind anymore, we need to think about quick decisions and passes with more tempo. Pace alone won't do it . Granada are there on merit , we need more footballers in that side .
Personally I would rather Diallo on the right and James on the left Amad has a better ball control than James plus having Wan bissaka who also loses the ball often down the wing covered by Amad you'll get a bit more out of the right wing.

I rate Champions League above Premier League since United havent won many Champions Leagues.

@NormalSodaGuy I see the CWC and Super Cup as add ons. Rare that you get to play them as need to win European comps, but theyre just one or two games. FA Cup and League Cup are proper cup comps. And I rate Europa higher than the FA Cup because its tougher to win due to the schedule and # of games, and it you win, get a spot in the Champions League
We do not have a dm to play lone, that's why we play the pivot.. saying "well we're gonna. we are just gonna" like ole is just dismissing some make-believe DM is odd af.
