The fact that they had to get separate degrees and student loans, but only get one paycheck...

Yeah, that's bullshit. Either they should've had to only pay for one degree, ot they get two paychecks.

@@rexfergus1375 I mean polygamy exists in the LDS church too.
@@tenebraequeene well it is not legal. And the main LDS church has outlawed it. It is a branch off of LDS that call themselves something else that do it. Now the guy marries one legally and then marries the others just in a ceremony. There is evidence that some other religions do this too. Apparently in New York city their are some Jewish communities that there are more women then men in very traditional communities and they have similar situations. There are some American born Muslims in dear borne Michigan that also have this in the shadows. Plus some cults Christian and non-Abrahamic. Met a guy who was in a cult that originated in Fiji that had like 12 moms. One biological of course, but not Christian or Muslim but they had a different belief altogether.
@@tenebraequeene Polygamy has been banned in the LDS since 1890, and all people who practice polygamy have been excommunicated since 1904. They've actually not practiced polygamy longer than they practiced it.
For logistical reasons, you'd basically have to have them be sisterwives in the most literal sense. Polygamous marriages are illegal in the US, but that's almost certainly what happend with these women. It's just for legal reasons that it isn't that way officially. The children would be both of their kids biologically but legally would be recorded as the child of one woman or the other.

What happens legally if one conjoined twin commits murder but the other doesn't?
OOF
I think there’s actually precedence for that. If I recall correctly, there’s a case from the 19th century where one conjoined twin committed murder (which the other very much was not a willing accomplice). Though he was found guilty, there was no jail time given because doing so would by default also entail punishing an innocent man.

Ehhh, I wouldn't say it's 1 person with 2 heads- more like 2 people with 1 body.
That's not a bad way of putting it. Or rather, 1 person with 100% of a body, and the other with 10% of one.

The reason those Siamese twins’ wives didn’t live in the same house was because both wives hated each other on a personal level, not necessarily out of jealousy.
Yes exactly.
I think I saw a post recently in which they briefly explained how it works in an exasperated “yes I have sex with my husband, now shut up about it” kind of way. He only kisses the one he’s married to, and when she goes down on him or they have sex the other twin puts on headphones and just zones out as best as she can. Also, they aren’t one body with 2 heads. They have separate torso organs (spinal cord, hearts, lungs, stomachs) with separate control of the limbs on each side. I really really hope that, due to the ladies being literally stuck together for their whole lives, they've developed a total understanding and respect for one another so they both are okay with screwing the same man at the same time. Otherwise this is NEVER gonna work out...
Of course they do. Sharing everything is the way they lived so far. From a privacy standpoint, they're a single person. If one buys a car, both bought the car. If one goes to college, both have been to college. Since each one controls half of their body they do everything together and won't function without the other.

There are a pair of extremely famous conjoined twins in the tiny town I live and grew up in. They're now in their 20s, and one wants to date. It's obvious that the whole sex/dating thing is weird AF both for and with them, and they've talked about it repeatedly in the many interviews they've been on. I can't imagine any version where this works out.
Update: conjoined just above the waist. So they each have a set of arms.
Head game gotta be insane
Yeah, that would be a better double BJ than most chicks could team play
In all honestly if they are conjoined to this extent, there's no way they don't view themselves as a package deal, if you marry one, you've married both.
Isn't there is a conjoined twin men, and one is gay?
This is on my bucket list
My biggest question always is, who controls the limbs? This is some Pacific Rim mech level of nural control? Fuck the sex question, how do the arms and legs work
It's stated that each sibling controls half of the body, one arm, leg.
Last time I checked each of them controls one leg and one hand on their respective sides and they've always coordinating everything. My jaw hit the floor when I saw them riding a bicycle as a 6 year old child or so.
So who has the orgasm?
@@dzonatangavert1408I’d imagine it’s just second nature to them. Like how walking upright is an incredibly difficult thing to do, so much so that even today we barely have robots that do it consistently, but humans don’t even think about all the math and physics that goes into balancing.
Now imagine if the two had a fist fight with each other.
Ok so here's the REAL crazy scenario.
Let's say they did the thing the Siamese twins did where they both married different people, and their families were in different houses and the other would just kinda shut up when in the other's house. How do kids work in that scenario, if both of them sleep with their husbands on 2 different nights and become pregnant? Ok yes obviously from dna testing we'll know which one is the father, but are they both the mother? Do both families effectively have 1 child then, just one was with basically a surrogate father?
Also fun fact. The original Siamese twins, Chang and Eng Bunker, their wives were sisters.
Normally you could do a DNA test to determine which is the actual mother, but they're identical twins, so... I think they just get to pick?
I think the solucion would just depend on who the husband is. The left head's husband is the father? The the left head is the mother
if someone can do this , its an army vet
They are two people with one body.
They being happy is their priority. A unusual situation.
You mention Cho'Gall but don't mention how in Heroes of the Storm you can play have 2 players playing that character where one person controls the movements and certain abilities meanwhile the other controls other abilities.
I just know that I’m going to hell for laughing when you called the sister “the other head”. “The other head” sidelined by “the main head”. I can’t stop laughing.
One gets the body and the other gets a Futurama glass jar.
Why did they have to pay 2 tuitions? I'd just say my twin isn't interested in a degree... then when you get a job, you can say "well, they attended all the classes and did all the tests with me lol"
Feels like the school took em for a ride. Like, i can understand the argument they might bring for why, but its not like the girls have a choice in the matter as well. It just seems like they will always just have to pay doyble tuition for everything.

The famous Siamese Twins, Chaang and Aang solved this problem by marrying a pair of twins. The Spousal sharing aspect with conjoined twins is ubiquitous, even in situations where they actually do have separate junk. But morals seem to demand that a person is in a relationship with only one, and generally, for legal purposes someone will be married to one twin and not the other.
I still find it funny that they made the ground rule of "look just shut up and read a book or something when I'm with my family, ok?"

The real dilemma would be if one said she wants to go on hrt and do surgeries while the other doesn't. Who would win out? What would be decided? Either way someone loses, and I wonder if this scenario is the same, aka only one wanted to marry and other just has to live with it
it would be a legal case for the ages. I just wonder if it would also apply to people with DiD
Let's take a less extreme scenario, what if one likes to pig out on fast food and the other wants to stay in shape?
@@SeruraRenge11 well for your issue they would probably need to strike some kind of ballence.
Funnily enough, they're less conjoined twins at that point and more an incomplete chimera. It's rare, but one of the confounders of DNA testing is the existance of people with two or more DNA profiles inside of their body. Usually this occurs very early in fetal development, when two or more viable blastocysts merge together and grow into a single person. Most people with this condition never know, the absorption is so complete, but occasionally you'll see children born with what looks like vitiligo because their mother was particularly promiscuous and had multiple partners of various different races - and the resulting chimera is a swirling mix of DNA with both black and white skin. Though there are also mosaics, which can show similar effects, which are a single embryo with two or more genetic profiles due to a defect in the reproductive process - or a very early and very significant mutation in the cell lines. So when you go to DNA test, depending on where you get the sample - you could end up with multiple different DNA profiles.
Also, not to wish harm on any of them, but there is a part of me that does wish to see a future where he gets into a terrible car accident - and the only way to save him would be to graft his head onto their shoulder. In any case, on the bright side of things, at least we've finally found someone for whom the "They/Them" pronouns is actually useful as a descriptive, and not just a cry for attention/mental help.
Bro is asking the real questions.
If I remember rightly the twins each control their own side of the body and are almost literally split vertically in regards to sensation and sensitivity. So if you drew a line across their back(s?) the sensation would start with one and then be lost halfway where the other would then feel it. There's a good amount of documentary type stuff on them can see if you look for it from back in the day
I have never wanted to know this, Dev
Two tuitions: Agreed, it's two brains receiving knowledge individually.

It may be simpler for people to imagine these women as one person with two personalities. It alleviates a lot of questions that I’m sure they’ve answered for themselves well in advance. of meeting the groom
This answer makes sense to me.
That's such an obvious answer it's crazy people have arguments about it
I don't like that answer purely because they have entirely separate brains and that's on a completely different level from separate personalities. Plus, it effectively makes the one that's not the main head less of a person and more of an extension of her sister. I mean yes she's LITERALLY an extension of her sister, but since I am a religious person, it creates an uncomfortable feeling of dehumanizing something with a soul.
