- The EcoBoost engines that Ford developed have drastically changed the automotive industry. With popular applications like the Ford Focus ST | RS, Ford Raptor | F-150, and even the Mustang, Ford is making tons of power with less cylinders and turbocharging. The 3.5L EcoBoost engine found in the 2017+ Ford Raptor is also in the latest 2018+ Lincoln Navigator. As a premium SUV, one would not think of tuning this vehicle, but we did! Mine (stock) got 5.93 secs 0-100km at almost zero elevation.
I know this was a while ago when you shot this video but I was looking have you ever did one with the Lincoln Continental with the 3.0 l twin turbo would love to see something on that

@Vivid Racing how can it have a base line of 310 wh if crank is 450. No way it's having over a 20% power loss. So either ford is lying on their number or there's something terribly wrong
@Vivid Racing I'll never understand why no dyno tuner won't install an 12k btu portable ac behind the blower so instead of blowing hot air it blows cold air imitating a realistic air temp when driving on a cool day. It'll give you better numbers and won't risk damaging the motor
@@antonioprado8068 their dyno reads lower, what's important are the gains achieved with a tune. Also it's measured at all 4 wheels so there's significant drivetrain loss. Another factor is WHAT gear they dyno in. If its not 1:1 ratio itll read lower as well, hope this helps

Hey maybe I don’t understand the way the is work but I didn’t hear you report anything close to the advertised numbers 450 horsepower or 550 pounds of torque?
With drivetrain loss and our dyno reading lower, it put down 310HP and 367lbs/ft to the wheels which follows the same trend as factory. After the tune it gained 100 lbs/ft of torque which would be 610 at the crankshaft and then 30HP bringing it up to 480HP. Other dyno's might read higher, but what matters is the before and after gain from the tune.

Run the best oil available, period. I use Schaeffers full synthetic but will go to Lubrication Engineers full synthetic going forward. Don't skimp on cooldowns and maintenance. The oil is the big thing. It'll keep the cam drive system, cam phasers and turbos proper.

What’s the fuel economy after tune?my stock fuel economy is around 16mpg that’s stepping on it from time to time. Also what’s the HP and torque gained at crank? Thnx.

@@vivid_racing they updated the EcoBoost compression for the 22 model they increase the power delivery more broader horsepower went down to 440
Where's the 1/4 mile time for the tune?
We don't have 1/4 mile , we ( and most tuners ) often never test 1/4 mile especially for a vehicle like that lol. With an 80HP improvement we can expect to reduce the ET by .5 - .8 seconds depending on conditions such as ambient temperature and elevation.

Our tuning does not produce any evidence of modification and the dealer cannot see anything during standard service. With any modification to the powertrain there is always a risk , however our tuning is kept well within an OE threshold so it will never present an issue that will alert the dealer to look into the software.

You can flash back to the original file with our tool. It really depends on the dealer. If the dealer knew about it, they could only void your powertrain warranty.

I think theres something wrong with the 0-60 runs... no way that truck is doing 7 sec 0-60 from the factory is running 5 sec 0-60 when i run mine it definitely doesn't feel like a 7 sec car
