- Annika is 15 months old now and she is turning out to be quite an active toddler. We had her grandparents with us in Kerala for a few months and Annika had a great time bonding with them. This video is about our everyday life where Annika is playing and being naughty with her grandparent and developing her personality. Nothing epic, just our regular family life with a toddler :)

It's heartbreaking for anyone when leaving beloved ones of the family to the far lands, let alone for a toddler like Annika.
Hopefully, she copes up with the short term void of her paternal grandparents.
It's not in vain when being said: "It takes a whole village to raise a child".
Dear Johanna, raising a child is a milestone for any mother. But again, those sweet little moments exchanged by your kid are priceless.
One would do everything good for the sake of family institution. Everything is fine and in place as long as, those actions wouldn't affect negatively to the directly or indirectly involved.

I have to admit I enjoy the toddler age more than the baby year! I love that Annika is learning new things all the time and we can do quite many things with her, she’s talking and communicating and developing her own strong personality 😍 though of course she was the cutest baby too in my eyes, but the first 12 months were more challenging to me personally!
Annika is such a cute child...Love to watch her adventures and mostly fun time with dada n dadi...Annika resembles her maternal grandma...God Bless you my dear 🙏❤️

Every time l see Annika she is developing and growing so fast and l see so much of her little personality, that little Baby is gone in the blink of an eye. It is such a privilege that you share such precious moments with us. 🥰
Yes she sometimes feels like a completely new kid, a big big girl after just a few days! That’s how quickly she is growing at the moment 😍😭 on best days she might even learn 6-8 new words and other skills on top of that!

It's nice Anika's Grandparents speak Hindi with her. And you in Finnish. Why does Vinod not speak to her in his mother tongue especially with the Grandparents back in Jaipur?

Children are like sponges, they just completely absorb languages at this age and start differentiating sounds/languages straight from birth - it’s astonishing! 🤯

Yes we’ve been following the Kerala weather and slightly regret not bringing my mom there! The weather seems delightful there, but thankfully we came to the Himalayas and it’s great here too! 🤩

Since you are in kerala , you might want to give locally appreciated baby food like , arrowroot porridge, banana peel porridge, multigrain porridge..😍It might be well suited for the climate . After annaprashan(a ritual to mark start of solids) , babies are given ghee,rice as well

We are teaching her Finnish, English and Hindi. She knows Finnish and English the best but also some Hindi, other languages she might learn at some point outside home 😊
