    This turned out beautifully. One question, did you cut the tops off of all the bars or did you plane the tops for the design to come through?

      No, my white batter actually got thick really fast and I would have preferred it to be a little thinner and more pourable🙂

    When you we're playing the soap i was thinking "there's no way this is the marble part, it's gotta be the top that's marbled" and then the shock!!! That was the marble part!!!!!

    Beautiful soap and a unique marbling technique. Black always looks so beautiful on a white background. The soap is stunning. Do they still make they vegetable peeler you use for trimming? I have tried to find something similar without any luck. The two I have tried really did not work. Thank you for sharing your video!

      Thank you! I stick blended the white batter longer, also it had some kaolin clay which thickens up the batter a bit

    Does the black oxide not bleed or smudge? Everytime I use it it gets everywhere it seems and transfers? This is stunning!

      Thank you! Yes it does bleed a little, I have never used a black colorant that does not bleed, including black oxide, mica and activated charcoal.

      Thank you! Not really, black mica is not natural but you could use activated charcoal instead.

    How do you keep the soap from solidifying when it’s at trace? My soap gets solid too fast to stop and sprinkle mica

      Tonderai Dewah If you want a moldable soap you could look up soap dough and sorcery soaps.

      Thank you. Since everyone has different size molds, I have put the percentages of the oils used in the description box. This way you can just plug them in a lye calculator like soapee.com in the quantities suitable for you.
