Oh yeah? I've got a number of Honest Trailer reactions on this channel, but you've gotta check out Screen Junkies. They make the Honest Trailers and have a ton of them.
I love that they made Ernie Hudson extremely successful after leaving the Ghostbusters. And I thought it was sweet of his character to still be helping out his ghostbusting brothers after things dried up. You can tell that the character had a lot of love for his former compatriots.
And a further note, I always felt like Winston Zeddemore was kind of the unsung hero of the first two movies. It really pisses me off still that he wasn't on the cover of the original movie and in some cases not even on the cover of the second movie. Also I would love to know why that deep scary voice called out Winston's name in the second movie, in the train tunnels. Almost like it knew him. I will love to know what it was that they were going to explore there.
I really liked this movie a lot and I think in my opinion that it did the original films Justice even if it was a little boring in bits and pieces of it but I still really enjoyed it

My family liked the movie a lot. Definitely better than 2016 and nothing can beat the Original, so it was good. Note, The Statue of Liberty scene was in GB2, surprised there isn't loads of green 'hate' slime throughout the country at this point... But Ghostbusters really missed an opportunity to use the 'End of the world' predictions at the beginning of GB2 and use the Feb 14th, 2016 prediction for its sequel as they did the New Years one for #2. As far as JK Simmons and Josh Gad, I like to think they begged for a spot in the movie and they shoehorned them in there somewhere.
Ya know, I haven't heard anyone talking about any of The Real Ghostbusters (animated series) inclusions... it's as if all the tech/gear from that show still got made but just never used for anything... the RC Ghost Trap, the Gunner Seat on the Ecto-1 and some other stuff, even that one ghost that seemed like it was just a giant floating eye, then has it's body catch up to it (STRAIGHT UP from the series).
Sorry for being late. Is the animated series considered canon or part of the continuity? To me it is because I really liked the animated series. 2016 never existed. It was a horrible dream.
If we were leaving in a world where ghosts exist and scare people, and ghostbusters are a real thing, just because the original team broke up ghost wouldn't stop showing AND the Original Ghostbusters would be just the first of many many many many many many many many many teams of ghost hunting people. AND they still carry the spengler last name so, how could that girl possibly scape her family history. Even if her mom never told her anything. you couldn't live in the internet without knowing the original ghostbusters.

it was a perfectly serviceable movie that took next to no risks but skirted along on pure nostalgia - it's good elevator music in a nice hotel - enjoyable, and fairly forgettable. B.
I actually haven't seen this movie yet, but I definitely plan on watching it eventually. But based on the honest trailer scenes from the movie, I'm guessing I shouldn't expect this to be funny at all. Those jokes they showed were pretty awful
