Wow. Never even heard of this band before yesterday. Heard their song "Peanut Butter" on Deep Tracks, thought it was funny, and decided to check them out. Didn't know they had girl bands that early on. Audience reaction is hilarious.
bro I went to the musical in Liverpool yesterday and the real drummer Sylvia and Mary the guitarist came on stage at the end, I was shook! They played with the actresses/tribute performers of their deceased bandmates, which must have been a bit weird (idk how many shows they have done that for, probably a few). Anyway Sylvia absolutely shredded (ik that's a guitar term but) the drums at the end. Was very cool to witness. Thumbs up :'D Meanwhile the guitarist was very at ease, almost serene haha
As an experiment, I showed this to people with a comment about how amazing the latest generative AI is, and how difficult it is to distinguish AI from real footage. Of course, they pointed out the "obvious" reasons why this was AI-generated and wouldn't fool them.
It's easy to laugh at the silly anticks of the audience today. But, people simply didn't know how to behave at a concert in the early days. I don't mean that as an insult, honestly I don't. 😒 Culturally it was a NEW thing to do - and people literally didn't know what to do.
The kids in the audience are all in their mid 70's today. Whew...time goes by so quickly!
These ladies rock and still to. Just had a really fun interview with them
Two are dead. How did it go with them?
@TheBeatlesWoW>>> Ya From the look of it . That GUY Getting Kicked BY SECURITY. HE PROBABLY GOT HIS BRAIN ROCKED
@@fatdad64able I imagine the interview with the two dead members was well, pretty dead.
Only learnt about these ladies, The Liverbirds, because of an article about John Lennon. They sound brilliant and deserved way more recognition
Likewise. And he sounded like his usual sh*t self.
The Beatles sound was created by George Martin. That’s why these gals need help. Think the wrecking crew.
@@scasey1960 Lots and lots of help.
"I went to the Liverbirds concert and got this cool t-shirt. What did you get?"
"A kick in the face."
We call that assault!
today it's called the mosh pit
hahahah,he really didnt seem to minnd the first one
02:11 Wow, even Bjork was there, amazing!
A-rockin' and a-kickin'. These girls were a great combo.
Thanks For Sharing this Timepiece ❤
I appreciate that someone filmed this, and I appreciate that you shared this.
Nice, except for the guy who got kicked in the head by security for standing on his chair.
I've seen a few videos by them ...they really had a great camera operator doing the filming
And another band who covered the great Chuck Berry, the Father of Rock'n Roll !!
As did everyone. If you couldn't play Chuck Berry songs you just weren't with it man.
Fab !
They certainly Rocked the house 🏠 down!!!
Wow, what´s with kicking fans in the head?
Guy had his face introduced to sole music. Best pun I could come up with.
Heading towards some footstomping music.
What the hell was wrong with the security guy at the start lmao
Is it a security "guy"?
German
LOL
wir mussen ordnung haben
Hope life caught up with him.
Lovely
The boys are throwing their jockey briefs at the Liverbirds.
It was the 60s so it'd have been grey baggy y fronts
@@seamusoflatcap Just as long as they ain't brown.
Now they throw their Depends diapers.
This what guys have to put up with then, now, forever.
Really good!
I would only have been 7 years old, but I wish I was there!
Just not getting kicked in the face, am I right?
@@seanrobinson6407 That would be preferable!

There's been girl bands since the very beginning, just under the radar.
The security guy was a Dean Martin fan. His favorite song was " Aint that a kick in the head ". 💥
I. Saw the Ladys many Times in hamburg at the star Club in 1964.
@@heinzengels3111 How were they , live ? You are a very lucky person to have seen them !
The foley artist went all in creating this soundtrack 😂 Cool video still ! A glimpse of a different era.
Was that Jane Wiedlin from the Go-Go's?
Or Patti Smith on guitar?🎸😃
I got it. An audience member making an audience tape. Bootlegs arise.
The girls are great 👍... .they look like Cher and Petula Clark....😊
❤🇧🇷
He might have politely asked the guy to sit down before kicking and slapping him in the head!
They actually played that song better than The Rolling Stones
My God an all girl mod band. that's cool, man
Mersey beat band.
Crazy wearing heels to a rick concert
Good band. The drummer had stage presence and a seemingly fun personality.

Woo-wee, the male fans :)
I guess you had to be there.
Patti Smith on guitar?🎸😄
Not bad. Pretty good
If you don't mind the first time... you got another thing coming😮
The THUG at the beginning ruins it.
Yeah! That coulda been cut for another shot of the guitar players rear end, don'cha think?
Not at all....He ruined nothing.
Just a natural reaction among young people to being full of soda pop and teen angst.
The drummer could have been in a thrash metal band . If they partied like the guy groups I would say the drummers drug of choice was speed
En el tiempo 00:07 tanta violencia era permitida hacia un jóven?. Tan bestia eran los que ponían órden?
Concert security in 60s Germany was brutal, most probably ran ex SS and Hitler youth 😵💫
Sounds like the kind of thing Jello Biafra described in "Pull My Strings."
I suppose after Altamont, some fans were willing to resist this brutality.
...and "Hell's Angels"😮
Altamount als die Stones auftraten ,haben eure Hells Angels (Amis)die Leute gleich totgeschlagen! Also bisschen ruhiger sein Ami
Guy got the boot cuz he was obstructing the view for everyone behind him being on his buddies shoulders.
I think it's the first lesbian rock band of the history.
Security person was a little heavy handed I believe.
Heavy footed even !
@@groover5524 Lol!
@@groover5524 He was a Beatnik. The bloke in the audience was called Nik so he beat him.
we will never know

Congrats on being a dick? AI slop is still slop. Stop trying to ruin everything good in the world.
I think they got left out!

So , the Liverbirds were a group who did nothing when one of their crew kicked some fan in the head . Embarrassing .
IS IT JUST ME R IS THE AUDIENCE REACTION . WELL TOO MUCH
Never heard of them can’t be that well known why weren’t they big as Beatles sound like them but with girls voices
Because they weren’t really marketed strongly outside of the European continent
Jesus is Lord in your heart, love ya

Yea. Just like Charlie Watts . Let me guess , you're a drummer .
Could have done without the fake crowd noises.
lol...drummer plays the same beat in every one of their songs.
Fake audience sound, I'm thinking.
What a freakin' horrible name.
Why?
Who's making these fakes?
FAKE
