Also depends on where ur drum has the most resonance on the tongues, mine are unfortunately right near the end of the cuts 😅 but yeah it's about learning and connecting with your drum as well. My middle tongue has the best sound coming from the edge of the right (which is so bloody weird but it's true). Love this video!!!

Hmm, I think it must depend on the drum you have. I can't really get good resonances using my hands on my drum

It definitely makes a difference. Some tongue drums have really narrow tongues and it’s wayyy harder to play with your hands

I feel that when i play with mallets - i have to hit the edge of the tongue and when i play by hands- i have to hit at the base of the tongue.
Is that correct?
