Thank you for NOT putting any background music!! Its nice like this, peaceful, quiet and can better meditate and dream on the surroundings I am seeing. Maybe one day, I too, can retire in the beach areas of Florida. One day. I like hearing the sounds of the community and being able to think and not be distracted from music, unless it was "beach" music. Thank you. I miss being around beaches. Seems it has been such a long time...
I remembering driving with my cousins the Ft Lauderdale-strip at night in a convertible! The weather was awesome warm not humid a a little breezy! ❤️🙏✝️👍🏻
Thank you for this video, well done. I lived in Fort Lauderdale beach and Lauderdale By The Sea for over 30 years, it really is a beautiful city with nice beaches, bars and restaurants but it's the last place you want to be when a hurricane hits, being without power for several days is no picnic especially in 90 degree temperatures.
its a great spot for any break the start is beach park on the south end of the beach going north then you pass the strip of restaurants and some of the luxury hotels i walk this strip almost every morning its a great relaxing pleasure to be able to be near this warm tropical ocean most of my life richard in the tropics
This brought back so many great memories of my 1st visit to FL , My husband and I stayed at the pelican grand resort and loved it so much we have booked again for this year (post covid19 hopefully) can’t wait to stay at The premiere hotel for the new year. Thank you for sharing.
big thanks! I am from the Philippines. Though your video, I'm able to experience beautiful places there in the US a-la-road-trip. Salamat po sir J Utah. :)
I’m from ft Lauderdale, that whole drive is soo familiar to me it’s almost like I’m in the passenger seat while my mom is driving to the beach. Fort Lauderdale is such a fun and beautiful place to live I recommend anyone to come and visit sometime ❤️
I think knowing alittle Spanish would be helpful. But I wouldn't worry about it. Everywhere in the U.S. English is the main language. Don't worry about it. Try having fun down there. Not hard to do when everyday of the year is virtually summer.
im a ft lauderdale native. i wouldnt recommend ever moving here unless youre retiring or you have 6 zeros in the bank. 99 percent of the city is a ghetto. The only nice part is within a 1 mile radius of the beach. The people suck, there is no culture, no sense of community at all, and probably the rudest in the country. And our actual summer here is pretty bad, its extremely humid. You wont want to be outside for more than 15 minutes, and those are on the days when its not downpouring.
fred d in some part i agree summer is very humid, also i live on Ocean BLV and was nice but some part can be rough, like anywhere else London L.A. etc..
The 80's I lived their, best times. Is Art Stocks Play Pen still their? I hung at Beach at Oakland Park Blvd. Or Sunrise Blvd. Maybe I'll retire their in a few years. 🌴.
Right now I live in Vancouver. I'm a black guy. One day I was walking down the street.....with a white woman. We were having a friendly conversation.....and then a police officer approached me....and told me that i'm not good enough for her because i'm black. He really hurt my feelings. There's too much racism in Vancouver....so I'm moving to Florida.😁
I'm black and lived down here in ft Lauderdale all my life. One of my personal favorite sayings recently is, "I hate Canada." Never been there. I don't plan on it.
Tanisha Hudson RoyallyRooted As with any town there are places that aren't the best, Oakland Park, Sistrunk but for the most part, Fort Lauderdale is a great city. Good food, live music, the beach, NO SNOW!!!!
If I was rich I would just bumble up in down the Florida coast and drink and smoke legal pot for a couple years.... There are fun nude beaches and tons of pier and hotel bars(I would go up and down Miami Beach hopping from one pool to the next using the bar as a excuse to swim).

I just watched your clip in 2019,it makes me some memories of Fort Lauderdale,I used to live here 2002-2015.
I was a beach bum here in the 60's- thanks for the update and the trip.
Gorgeous, poor Florida gets such a bad rap, but I dont think its so bad. So pretty and relaxing, if I didn't already live in Ohio I'd live there.
big thanks! I am from the Philippines. Though your video, I'm able to experience beautiful places there in the US a-la-road-trip. Salamat po sir J Utah. :)

I'm looking to either move out to Ft. Lauderdale, or Miami FL. Your video sure makes a nice sell for Ft. Lauderdale!
Me too I'm really really trying to move to Miami do you think you would need to learn Spanish to live down there?
I think knowing alittle Spanish would be helpful. But I wouldn't worry about it. Everywhere in the U.S. English is the main language. Don't worry about it. Try having fun down there. Not hard to do when everyday of the year is virtually summer.
Thanks for the feedback Mike!

Use the space bar and quit with the exclamation points. You're not that excited bud.
armand dima honolulu city is surprisingly tacky and outdated, not what you see on postcards. Maui is a beautiful drive though.
