I recognized the hotel on the right during that stop between 22:00 and 22:50. I stayed there in March of 1980. Back then, it was the Sunrise Inn. It's now the Sonesta. Although it was spring break, the beach wasn't terribly crowded.

Used to drive along A1A years ago. Brought back great memories. That drive from Ft. Lauderdale north to Palm Beach is so pretty. Although there are too many tall condo buildings along there on the ocean side. They should have left more public areas along the beach that people could access. Must be a lot of rich people living in Florida!

Love LBTS and Pompano, we Drive over from Naples when we’re heading back to Michigan after spending three months in Naples, and we go over by North Miami and drive A1A as soon as we can get on it all the way up far as it will go. Love all the beach areas along there. Thanks this was great.
