@@steveperry7799Perry Yes, it was 1992 just arrived (21:00 PM) at MIA, got our rental car, with a standard "Lease" license plate which was normal back then. On our way to Fort Lauderdale, we were pulled over on I95 and 2 men stole our passports, travel checks, some money, and purses at gunpoint. Later they told us we were very lucky because some tourists were killed. To make this vacation even more exciting Fort Lauderdale was hit hard by Hurricane Andrew and we were evacuated to Orlando. Fort Lauderdale is so many times better than Miami. Fort Lauderdale has all the positives that Miami has without Miami's negatives. Fort Lauderdale is lucky in that Miami gets all the attention and people rush to Miami, and Fort Lauderdale gets to remain free of the crowd. I once emailed a popular youtuber asking as to why he didnt mention Fort Lauderdale in the list of 10 best cities of Florida, but mentioned Miami as number 1. He replied that because Fort Lauderdale is so close to Miami, he didn't want to be repetitive, else he would have mentioned Fort Lauderdale instead. I was actually glad he didn't mention Fort Lauderdale, as it keeps the crowds away lol

Thanks for the Awesome video about Ft Lauderdale Florida
I was there for a week back in 1986 for Spring Break from University of Maryland
I am now looking into options of states to move to and really like Florida a lot, being with my relatives mainly in Louisiana and Florida and South Carolina, thanks to all the great UA-cam videos I am learning a lot about Florida and other Southern states.
I have been on 3 trips to Florida including one for work in Information Technology at Tampa and St Pete to help modernize the Veterans Administration for the medical benefits for Our Nation's Heroes
You are welcome, yep Florida is a great place to live.
Wow I need to put this on our bucket list to do.🤔😏 Thanks for sharing 👍🏻😍
Hands down the best travel videos! Would love to see Utah,Colorado, and Washington state.
He doesn't cover non free states like Washington and Colorado.
We did Utah in 2017 althouth wasn't narrated, and in 2019 did 3 videos in Colorado, although maybe not the quality level that we currently do now. studio.ua-cam.com/users/videoWL6dEztyiHE/edit?o=U ua-cam.com/video/vtINSl8K07g/v-deo.html studio.ua-cam.com/users/video3nl2fRtAitU/edit?o=U

Fort Lauderdale is a beautiful resort town in Florida. Port on the Atlantic Ocean. Thank you for the beautiful video and for the virtual tour. Thanks for the story and for the newsI know this city well...from Chicago, Illinois.
Thankyou for the nice words
I lived at Harbor Inn across from Pier 66 on 17th causeway back in 1993 playing in a metal/punk rock band. It was a magical time for me, I worked with Jeordie White from MM at the CD Exchange & was in that music scene when they hit it big. I hope to visit the beautiful place again soon, thanks for posting this video!
You are welcome Andrew, thanks for sharing.
@@TampaAerialMedia You are very welcome, cheers!
Love these awesome surprises! Thank you!
Thanks for the video. I’m trying to find new things to do there. My family and I love this place. We just came back 3months ago and are flying back there for March break in 2 days. Canada is beautiful but the winter kind of ruins spring break for the kids lol.
You are welcome, also doing a new Fort Lauderdale in a couple of weeks
Grew up part-time in Fort Lauderdale but sadly I haven't gone back in 20+ years. Hopefully I have a chance soon. It looks wonderful!! Just like home.
Another Home Run!!! Thank you!!!

Really love that you always mention if a place is pet friendly
Thankyou for the feedback
Enjoyed your video. You really sold me on fort Lauderdale. Regret not visiting when I was in Miami. Well this will surely be my next trip.
Thankyou, yep, I would take Fort Lauderdale over Miami.
I live 45 minutes away.. I love it...but be prepared parking is a nightmare and traffic during night time is very busy..still nice.
Love your videos! What type of cameras and drone do you guys use. I have a dji zoom 2. I need to purchase a good handheld camera.
Thanks!
For this video it was a Go Pro hero 8 and Mavic 2 Pro Drone, when we do use a regular camera, I use the Sony a7iii.
Beautiful video. A nice relaxing memory lane watching this (visited some years ago and wouldn't mind coming back). Very informative. Thank you for sharing.
Thankyou for the nice words.
I love this channel, very informative and funny too! 😁

MY FAVORITE BEACH AREA IN ALL THE WORLD !!!
This was really well done, I liked your style. Thank you, I am interested in moving to Ft. Lauderdale.
Thankyou for the feedback, I appreciate that
Thank you my moments of escape
Well, this is just awesome. Haven't been to Ft. Lauderdale since 1973.
Yep alot has changed since then, its become more family friendly.
Amazing sharp video quality. I never realized downtown Fort Lauderdale had become such a destination. It's a much better option than Miami, IMO.
Thankyou, yea I think its a better option than Miami.
Yeah MIA is overrated
@@samanthamccormick1505 Hollywood Beach is also really nice for visitors too, especially families.
I’m moving here in April. I am extremely excited!!!!
Hi Pete, anything planned for the new year...wishing you all the best and good health and woof woof...tchau
