- I love this amp. Thanks to Mr. Friedman for making it, and for the exceptional pedalboard he wired up for me. The video is me just playing for fun. Mic placement was haphazard but it came out ok. Enjoy. And order a Friedman amp, it will make you happy.
Its an amazing amplifier. Far beyond my skill level (but what isn't). Anything Mr.Friedman makes or touches has major vibe. Im going to save up for another one soon.
I don't know why you think this amp is beyond your skill level, your playing was fantastic and regardless the other comment about your foot work I didn't see any problem there either! Hell of the few demos on this amp like I said this was the most thorough I've seen. You play great, that amp wont hide bad playing and you did it justice!!! ROCK ON!!!
I've got to say that may be THE BEST overall amp demo I've ever seen!!! You coverd every concievable sound and permutation a amp demo should have so someone can make a informed audio analysis...WOW! I've been thinking about getting a Friedman for some time now but I'm affraid to ask how much the head and cab cost?!?! That demo alone should have gotten you a free rig!!!!

This was a good vid. I like this amp a lot.
Speakers are GreenBack 25's in the top and V30s in the bottom. The pickups are lindy Fralin single (vintage hots) and the hum bucker is a Bareknuckle Aftermath.

There wasn't really anything to talk about, although he was very friendly and accommodating. He is also very busy man so I asked for what I wanted and left him alone. It was around 6 weeks or so, but that can change. You can always call Rob/Mark at tone merchants and get a timeline. If you want boutique gear, expect to wait and don't bother the builder, but thats my way of doing things.YMMV.

This is a great video of you putting this amp through its paces! Is it one you still play?
Custom switch box. One activates the loop on the pedalboard, the other CUTs the input volume so I can have a cleaner tone quickly.

Great sounding amp and nice playing to. Got a few questions.... What speakers are in that cab? What pickups in the Strat? and how were you getting that heavy ass sound at the 4:00 mark. Looks like yer on the Low Input plus the Naked OD? Freakin rediculous! love it! Man thats a cool heavy sound coming from a Strat.

Nice demo! How do you like the American Deluxe Strat? I was thinking of getting one of those...throwing around a Suhr or Luxxtone as well, but they're obviously more pricey

effects loop is an option. I described the effect of the cut pedal already in other comments.
I am seriously considering this amp. I know it does the crunch/overdrive great but
I can't find a sample of it's clean sound. How about a clean demo with single coils?

the guitar is a single coil guitar and there are MANY sections with single coils. the amp is called the "Dirty" Shirley because there isn't a "clean" sound.

How long was the wait for it? Did you actually get to chew the fat with Mr. Friedman? I ask cause when you pay as much money for an amp like this there's nothing that kills me more then not being able to talk to the builder unless your a world famous rock star!!!

Friedman Cabs are V30's and GB25's

This amp sounds really great. But you have to practice your footwork. Seriously.
