I am supprised and dismayed that "saw experts" do not put oil onto the bar groove before mounting chain. Does not take much to prevent a lot of initial bar wear and chain stretch. I guess you guys want to sell more parts...
I’ve never heard of anyone ever doing this before. Not saying it would not be good practice, but not really required as the few seconds it will be running prior to getting oil would not make much difference at all. Thank you for your feedback 👍🏼
I'm a lumberjack from Finland. I started the arc with a sawmill and then moved to Partner 14 next rocket and husqvarna 263cd & 380cd. I've noticed that the husqvarna color could be blue white, Orange. Same coloring as their one protective helmet.

Some dealers have received some stock. Full stock has not arrived in the UK yet. We have a lot of customers waiting for saws as well. We have only had this one which we received as we are not your usual dealer, we are also heavily involved in marketing, so sometimes we get products before others for promotional purposes.
You can buy fuel that is pre-mixed, or you can buy 2 stroke oil that is designed to be added to gasoline at a ratio of 50 parts gas to 1 part oil. The proper oil is important - any old oil will not do.

I dont think the autotune is working quite as it should on the video. My 572XP was same when it was brand new. a couple of tanks later and the thing sings like you wouldn't believe. I know they account for operating time, so maybe they have a bit of a rich run-in built-in. That way it doesn't blow up when treated like what we just saw.... Also, if you really dont like the autotune, then get the 585 instead, same saw, conventional carburator for the die-hard fans...
@@em4703 the owners manual explains the break in process, if you're smarter than the engineers at Husqvarna thats fine. Just don't mislead others about breaking in a new saw.
@@em4703 bullshit. Even Husqvarna recommend a minimum 6 tank break in period. Also, running the saw at 40:1 will actually make it run leaner due to the design of the jet being for 50:1. You can hear that the auto tune hasn’t even had a chance to set itself. Sounds like shit to me.
When one of you started shaking his hips an acting like a fool while operating the saw, you lost any shred that you know what your doing. Also I have no idea what arborist in the UK would need a 93cc saw.

I think if someone not experienced with using a saw may think chainsaws are just toys, that fooling around and not really concentrating on safe use is the way they should be used. That saw has real potential for injuries if not respected. Loose footing as a result of saw chips, a heavy piece of machinery and a chain spinning at 12000+ rpm, should get more respect. I don’t see professional loggers here or on the internet holding their saws between their legs and humping them either. Your partner doesn’t act like that, just you maybe you and that saw should get a room.
Husky and Stihl are equally good. I like them both. I'd buy from Hayes machinery if they were closer by. And on the same continent. Not that I am saying Great Britain is "on the continent", not at all. Britons are a sea faring island nation. I'm just on another continent far far away.

Putting some oil on the bar for the first start up would be good as it takes a while for the oil to come up from the saws oiler . I always fuel and oil a new saw and run it before I fit a chain and bar . That way you know it's all good and can see the oiler working . Steve sent me over but he would not be that impressed lol. I am never buying those Husqvarna trousers they are so gay .
Larry wait until the next video, you will love it! It will take a few tanks before the saw is broken in and running sweet. This was an unboxing and first cut with a little bit of ‘flare’ the saw has done 10 cuts so far. No harm to chainsaws happened in the making of this video 😂

At 40:1, we're at 8 years with solid compression as when new. 50:1 is mandated by EPA/Carb for emissions, but destroys equipment. We run a landscape co with hundreds of huge weekly accounts since 2005. 50:1 is hardly any oil at all... at 40:1, you can see it actually coat engine components when looking in cylinder. The owners manual often say to start "break in" at 40:1. 50:1 is to lower emissions only, and sell more equipment.

Remove that spark arrestor ASAP, and only run 40:1 premix in that saw. You will kill it at 50:1.

Let’s take a new saw out of the box not put the bar on right and send the rpms to the moon on a brand new saw. You just took life out of that saw. Horrible.
