100 Kickflips With CCS Rider Louie Lopez In His Converse Louie Lopez Mid

- Since we last kickflipped in Cons with Louie a couple years ago, his signature shoe has become a pillar of their already heavy skate shoe lineup. Then, earlier this year, Converse kicked it up a bit, literally, by introducing the Louie Lopez Mid. With Louie now officially a part of the CCS Team, we thought the time was right to evaluate the durability of his namesake Mid with a 100 Kickflips wear test. Is it just as strong as the Low? Even stronger?
Join Louie, fisheye filmer Ryan Lee, CCS’ Matt Price, and Hashbrown the dog as we ride the frequently fetid streets of Los Angeles to analyze the downtown kickflip durability. Just make sure to wash your hands afterwards.

Really loved this one, felt more like a more realistic test as to what a shoe actually goes through in the process of doing 100 kickflips (most of us take a few days)
I also wanna add that I’d love to see an uncut version of this cause Louie’s skating is special to watch

ive been skating these but they fit a little bigger and im always a uk 10 but theyre kinda pointy and it leaves a bit of space at the top. theyre nice shoes but i cant skate em

I personally like the look on these Mids. I bought the lows and while they look amazing, the feel on foot even after breaking them in was terrible on my feet. I have wide feet (Why the hell am I wearing Converse? I know.) and while Cons do run super narrow I thought the toe on the lows would be alright on my feet, but in reality, that tight construction with the laces made the shoe unbearable after a while. I wear Cupsole sneakers a lot more now (I'm currently between the adidas Tyshawns and the Lakai Atlantic.) But if I were to give Vulc soles another try, I might just scoop the LL Mids!

Really cut my heel up, but I got freaky bone spurs, had to send mine back and swapped for the original low tops which I love! Keep ripping Louie ✌🏼

they fit super long. great looking shoe but not my favorite feeling skate shoe. i’d recommend going half a size down

2022 soty callin it now.
They look good in mids but after only 100x kickflips have took quite a beating... so presumably they would only last like 3-4 sessions if that with new Mob grip. Its the same with the GT blazers yeah they look real nice but don't last for shit.. what's the point in making 'skate trainers' that fall apart before even 10 sessions...
Get a cupsole like a Bruin or Tyshawn and you'll be sweet
@@MVincini yeah the bruins my mate always gets them, im not keen on the shape personally.. I had the black n gold tyshawns prob one of fave pair of shoes I've owned .. Great to skate straight away and they lasted ages 👌
If you are looking for durability the new balance Tiago is by far the most durable shoe I’ve ever skated
@@dylandemille3556 funnily enough that's what am currently skating. I bought these specifically to skate fresh out the box. Great shoe was very happy with how they skated instantly, ankle a bit exposed but they're very comfy and have lasted literally like over 6 months. With these other shoes (especially from nike) they look good im the first to say, but the soles go soggy they wear away too quick and to the point where its too smooth for flip tricks. Definitely not what we expect to be paying £90* for
