I feel like it's weird to stick with the "only enter a pack in 2 episodes" rule. It seems like it could be weighted more toward the amount of packs, like you can only open a maximum of 20-25 of a certain pack throughout a season, that way you can't just pour all 15 into a pack twice, while also making it so opening 1 or 2 doesn't severely punish you for future secret pack unlocks in later episodes. Just my two cents, but I do enjoy you three beating the hell out of each other with cardboard rectangles nonetheless.
They can barely read their own decks and count up to the five loose packs. You want them to keep a count on each and every pull? Not saying I'm against your idea, just that I don't see them going for it.

A fun concept for one of these to involve all 4 of you is every week 1 person is only allowed to spectate, no drawing from packs or dueling just spectating. The loser of the 3 way battle would then switch with the person in the ‘shadow realm’ so to speak if it’s a tie then the person currently in the ‘shadow realm’ remains there. Every week they’re in there they get an extra ban on everyone at the next ban list.
for april fools each master saga strategist should find a different yugituber to replace them and then they all just upload reactions like MBT once did.

Love the series, been watching since S3. One thing I'd love to see is 20 packs of 1 set and no repeat sets. Its always seems that an archetype is almost never playable until you go into it for a second time. Seems like it may be worth trying in a future season as you get a fully fledged archetype every week to play with and acquire enough cards to fill out a new deck. Furthermore, it reduces your number of dead weeks. Say you pull tear one week, its mid. Then pull it a second week and still get week pulls, you've now wasted 2 weeks worth of packs. With this format, you find out all at once if this strategy is playable for you or not and can move on to a new strategy the next week.
A rule that needs looked at and changed before it matters: the rule on going back into packs. The idea behind it is awesome. The implementation needs some work. How about instead of 'you can only go into a pack 2 seperate times' the rule is 'you cant open more than 25 of a pack'? This way you can still technically only get the set of 10 twice and you can only get 5 of the singleton packs, which is actually 5 less total packs if someone were to just dumo everything into the same pack twice, but it allows for things like getting 2 Swordsoul packs this week and not having that eliminate the possibility of actually going 10 deep twice. Also for week 1 you should have just given everyone a SR or UR craft from their pack at the end of their pulls. Still pumped for another good season though! I just wanna see some more competent strategies. Last season was great, but if youre limited to a maximum of 17 Swordsoul packs instead of 30 because you chose to open 2 today.. well thats just a silly way for the rule to work.
Next season do the following each episode: loser bans a card 2nd place limits a card. If it's a tie everyone limit a card. It'll help keep things fresh and stop stuff taking over for ages.
I like how Master Saga gets better and better every season, but i wish you make a new rule saying that you cant go into the same pack you went into season prior so we dont see Gage pulling Kastira, Shonobirds, you Doug pulling Swordsoul,Charmers, and MBT pulling Predaplants, Swordsoul, and Prankids again but you guys can play each other decks
I think the 5 cards shouldn’t count towards the “can’t open more than 2 times” rule. If you want to possibly ruin your chances of a new deck being good by constantly doing 10 cards because every week you open 5 Harpee packs, then so be it. With a ban every 4 weeks they’ll ruin the deck before you get anything going.
only 30 seconds in and the craft change is such a good decision sure it added a few more randomly powerful cards to the pool, but it kinda clogged the bans by almost forcing everyone to use a precious ban on something the other guys spent practically no investment on
I'm going to echo my suggestion from last season and say you should set up the coin flip in such a way that everyone gets to decide once per week, would prevent the feelsbad 2 coin toss losses
It's really interesting that they way they design 'modern' packs in MD makes them really dangerous to go into. You get the best cards, but they're really rare and surrounded by trash. It's almost like they design the packs with Master Saga balance in mind.
No, they design the packs in a way that requires you to buy the most, thereby making them the most money. Best cards at really rare means you need to buy a lot to get them, and surrounded by trash means you have nothing playable in the meantime
