It's been an absolutely incredible season. I have followed and enjoyed saga since the very beginning, but the round robbing format took it to the next level. Take your time, I'll be looking forward to the next season.
When you mentioned being a band kid in high school, I immediately thought "Hey, a kindred spirit!" I wanted to do sports stuff back then, but I wasn't very good, either, so I kept to theater, choir, Knowledge Bowl, and Academic Decathlon. That was a long time ago, though, too. ^^;
I'm only watching the deck profiles and MAN no way Gage loses this week. The Goukis are crazy. The Shinobirds are insane. This season really was the age of Gage. Edit (spoilers): He won with Unicorn pass and lost with Prosp+Duster+Kaiju. This guy is a goddamn anomaly.
All three have perfect chemistry together, I honestly love everything about this series from the gameplay itself to the yapping (honestly the best part tbh) to the banter
I kind of disagree. Gage does talk way too long at times on tangents and I can't say that I enjoy watching a player sitting on one or two deck types for half of the Saga runtime backed up with stun traps which he gravitates towards often. I'll respect the folks who like him, but I find myself having to turn the fast-forward on any time he's playing just to get through it.
Being a Mr. Zeef supporter is pain. Bro is the only player to play in all six seasons of Saga, and yet still hasn't managed to win once. (Obviously, this is just a for-fun series, and half the time, it's not even clear who won, particularly in the earlier seasons). Three-person Saga is peak.
I think it's fair to say he won the 1st one (though they did agree it was a joint victory at the end), but yeah, his run has been pretty rough. He's not had one solid crown to himself yet.
Can’t wait for Season 7 with the 4 player round robin gameplay where they change up some rules from last season and each episode is 2 and a half hours. He knows we’ll watch it

I like for how in the final part of the video and they start talking about sports, Doug and Gage are soo careful and constantly replaces "soccer" with "football", and then we have Farfa that just steamrolls with "soccer" no matter what xD
I can't wait for the return of Punished Doug in season 7 where he doesn't misplay a single time and takes the entire series by storm. In all seriousness, an incredible season, I feel like the place the rules are at right now allow for a season filled with powerful moments, and of course you guys shooting the shit is fantastic to watch. The only thing I could want is a way to get the solo mode cards involved, but I know that's a difficult thing to make work. All the love, looking forward to Season 7!

You all played very well in all these duels, there was some missplays here and there, but in the grand scheme of things, there were some amazing plays!
Actually watching that back and realizing Farfa actually said “I’m gonna negate that” disappointed me. That’s just blatant cheating/unsportsmanlike conduct and would be an auto game loss or replay in any other format. I thought it was just a mind game thing the first time.
@@HapsterHap That's fair. I've judged feature match tables where a loose implication like that was used and I had a really tough time penalizing it. Though you're right in that I probably should have.
It actually reminds me a little of Pokemon VGC where stalling for time is legal because the game lets you. Within the limits of Master Duel you're pretty much allowed to do whatever the game lets you do. After all, Gage could've just read what effect was being activated.
i love how konami thought with krawler: you know what a flipp deck needs, a punishment for removing the flipps monsters outside of battle, you know when they are face up, so when they already did they thing, you know when the opponent no longer cares to remove them

Genuinely one of my favorite series to watch. It’s so entertaining to watch, from the godlike to shitty pack openings to the misplays to the podcast yap, it’s gotta be my favorite series on UA-cam.
I was actually thinking, even before Doug announced that the final games would be without a banlist, that it'd be really cool if during the season finale everyone gets to bring 1 card from forbidden and make it limited and 1 card from limited and make it semi-limited

Love the series! Was definitely a fan of the power levels of this season! I don’t know if this will be seen but I was thinking of ideas for potential later seasons. Banlist at the end of every 4th episode (ep 4, 8, 12, and 16). Allowing more bans as mentioned this season and newer and changing decks, and then for an episode 21 do a no holds barred no banlist bring two decks finale. Love the series and cannot wait to see more of it ❤
The No Banlist Battle at the end is a great idea and should return for Season 7, buuuuuut it should probably be its own 21st episode so you guys won't have to be on Master Duel for three hours straight lol. Anyway, AGE OF GAGE LETS FUCKING GO.

This season was incredible! The power level was off the roof but that made for such an entertaining season, I couldn't believe it. Many thanks to Doug, Farfa and Gage for going so insane on this one.
Small thought for season 7, if you have 3 people again you can set it up so everyone goes first once and second once per episode. Maybe The player who gets last place picks who they go first against. Dont think its the biggest deal. But Farfa going second twice with Krawlers is some poor luck.
I mean Farfa's crawler deck was realistically not doing much anyways, but I definitely think Doug winning both coin tosses with generaider definitely mattered. I don't agree with the every player needing to go first and second, cause some decks are more comfortable with one or the other, but I like the idea of whoever is lower in the scoring gets the decision rather than just 50/50s.
Farfa's losses during those 1st two games really did come down to exclusively losing the die roll LMAO If he had Soma, it would've been different, trust

nah this season has been just such a blast, the weird ass topics yall derail to, only to return back to some crazy outplays and interactions, been a lot of fun watching this series, and lol like i just play MtG all the time, but this past master saga has convinced me that limited formats for ygo can work so well and be exciting that im almost halfway done building a ygo cube for my own playgroup
I say Season 7 has 4 Duelists in teams. Team 1 is Duelist A & B. Team 2 is Duelist C & D. After everyone’s pulls, the teammates are allowed to trade one card of equal rarity. Duelist A duels Duelist C, and B duels D. If the teams go 1-1, the winners duel each other.
