quick tip when putting the door panels back on the car... get two McDonald's straws... push the straws over the door lock knobs by about 1/4 inch... now you have door lock knob guides to keep from getting frustrated with the knobs when trying to get that door panel back in place
If you have a manual window pop the cover off of the window crank with a small screwdriver. Next you will see a screw holding on the handle of the window crank shaft. Pop your handle off all other steps are the same.
Great video! I have a question..once the door panel is removed with that tool, would the plastic clips have to be replaced each time or are they re-usable?
Thank you so much for the video,i learned something today, ive taken these out many times over the years but i was doing something wrong,i was removing my switches on the arm rest instead of just disconnecting them from the plugs then when you go to put it all back together trying to push all those wires in resulted in my switch cover bulging out and eventually it broke, what a dummy, thank you for the video again!!
I have watched your video on removing the door panel which is easy. The problem that appears to be more difficult is putting it back on so that it lines up. Is there a trick to get the panel to fit correctly so it doesn't interfere with closing of the door or the power lock button that needs clearance to go up and down?
What do I do is all the tabs ripped out of the door panel and stayed in the door? Now the holes on the door panel won't hold new ones. Do you offer a replacement cardboard (or whatever it's made of) piece?
please help i am doing pretty much a interior conversions and i was wanting to now if the door panels on like a 90 model mustang would fit on a 83 mustang please reply i might need more help lol just dont want to buy the panel and find out it doesnt fit
The screw for the mirror hole cover, the handel bezel, speaker grille, the set screws on the armrest and the window switch bezel will all be a standard #2 Phillips head screw. The 3/8" socket will be used on the armrest anchor screws.
Late Model Restoration thank you. I appreciate your response. I’m assuming the philips are all equal in length? I seen your armrest set it shows one longer.
My door pin wont go down . So i am unable to lock the door on my 1990 5.0. Any idea what it could be? Also the key hole on the door wont turn .Any help would be appreciated

Hello David, I'm sorry to hear about your issue! With your Issue, it sounds like it is either the Door Lock Actuators or the Door Lock Switches. Please email me at CCRJason@lmr.com and I will be happy to assist you!
This video's 6 years old now and I find myself still coming back to hear the squeaky "start"@:25 and the long winded ending @3:30. Classic
After the Shamless plug
"staaart!!" Haha that's great. I would not have noticed had you not mentioned it. And now it's 8 years old.

Yes, I do believe these would be a tad longer on the armrest section.
Late Model Restoration thank you so much
Will I need to get new plastic clips when I put the door back on?
+Brian Munoz You shouldn't have to, but if some end up breaking then you will need new clips. -Landan
