Hey, you are probably not gonna read this, but im the art director of this map. Theres music in all rides and the park, but using an option for the hud to dissapear on the menu makes a minecraft bug were it disseables the music completely. I see some time special effect particles also dissapear becuase of this bug. You can hear music when the player changes to third person, but the problem is that the music will be completely desync from the ride. Sadly all the experiences without music dont feel as good, so its a pity this happened to one of the most viewd streams. Also, all the music is composed by us or royalty free, so there should be zero problems with copyright.
This entire experience was incredibly well crafted. To the point I’m tempted to buy and see if I can get my friends to do a joke “theme park visit” day where we just run around and ride the rides. You and the team did great work.
Thanks @@Balmong7-y4s Im a huge fan of theme parks and universal so working on this was a drwam come true. Would be incredibly happy if you bought the map, every copy makes us stay afloat and keep working on more amazing stuff :D

I looked up the "premium motion statue" and was not disappointed. It was as cheesy as expected. 😅 There was also one available on Ebay signed by Richard Dreyfuss. I can only imagine how happy he was to sign such a premium piece of memorabilia.
Last time I went on The Mummy Ride, the ride broke down while my car was stopped at the flames. We stayed there with the flames going for probably an extra 20 seconds. I really thought, "This is it. I'm going to be flame broiled with this whole group of riders." The flames did go out, but we still waited another minute for the ride to restart.
As a kid, around 12 or so, my family went to California to do all the theme parks. Being from Perth Australia, I’d only ever experienced Adventure World which wasn’t very ride heavy at that time, so I was basically terrified of all the rides cause I just had no experience for them lol. I remember at Universal the entire park was empty, like completely deserted which was so great, because I was allowed to ride the Jurassic Park ride no less than fourteen or fifteen time in a row without even exiting the ride xD I’ll never forget the universal staff that quickly sent me off into the ride one last time when they noticed my parents were coming to drag me away, not all heroes wear capes 🫡
Florida native here! When I was around 4, my dad took me on the Jaws ride at Universal around dusk, thinking it would be fine (or not thinking at all). I've ridden Jaws many a time since then, but have such clear memories of the terror of hiding in the boat house that first time and thinking I was about to be devoured. This experience launched me into a lifelong paralyzing fear of sharks. Thanks, dad!
This stream is so fun! My favorite bad theme park story happened when I was really little, my brother was about 3 at the time and we lost him in the Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT and we found him up on the stage following the belly dancer around because she looked like Ariel and that was his favorite princess 😂
I want to have a friendship like Luke and Andy's where you just get together and play ridiculously niche video games and laugh at insane theme park stories.
This was as good as the Disney World Minecraft Stream, if not better well done Luke and Andy for this wonderous achievement and then some thank you for doing it for us.
People's theme parks stories are the absolute best. Please tell me there are other Minecraft theme parks Andy and Luke can take us to so that we can hear more
“Aww, he’s doing that thing he does.” “Punch him.” I haven’t even watched that much of the video yet and I’m already laughing more than is probably healthy.
At the E.T. ride, it took me faaaaaar too long to realise what Luke was holding was some sort of drink/snack, and that he hadn't just found a way to permanently walk around flipping the bird. In my defence, I was only occasionally glancing at the screen, and Luke was passionate about how much he hated E.T.
I haven’t been to Disney since I was a kid, before California Adventure even existed! So when I finally returned it was as an adult and with my then 5 year old daughter and her first trip to Disney. The very first ride we did on the second day was at California Adventure and we figured we’d try the Guardians of the Galaxy ride (former tower of terror). I had no clue what ride it was and neither did she. Once we found out it was a sheer drop ride she panicked so hard and was screaming bloody murder, and I was terrified as well as I hate up and down rides and I just did my best to be brave for her 😂 we were traumatized after that and it took us awhile before we did the other rides available hahahaha
McDonald's toys (the small plastic toys they stick in the Happy Meals) are officially called "premiums" by the company. I have no idea why, but the context seems similar.
At a water park I won’t name, I almost drowned whilst on a field trip through my school as a child. My leg cramped up and I was in the wave pool, cried out for help as I was drowning and the life guards ignored me, thankfully the waves pushed me to the shore 😂 Also, when we went to Disney, my 5 year old daughter (not knowing the name or stormtroopers) decided to ask me loudly “who are the white people over there?” 🤣
there is something very entertaining about these two talking about rubbish rides that i can't explain also based on that story at the end premium motion oxventure merch when
Very neat minecraft for universal. Glad that Andy got to see the Back to the Future ride. Yes, I have been on this ride as a youth and this is the same as you saw in minecraft. PS - I agree with Luke that I do not like the ET ride or the movie.
So i went on the jaws ride at universal when i was about 9... and im now 31 😂 and it actually brought back memories of that ride 😂 its pretty accurate from what i can remember. Trip down memory lane 😂
Honestly, my favourite part of Universal Studios was the Attack on Titan Experience in Osaka, but now that the series is over I doubt they'll ever bring it back (and it was replaced by a Jujutsu Kaisen 4D thing last time I was there). At least they still have Super Nintendo World and the dinosaur meet and greet at Jurassic Park.
Luke, I am so with you on the E.T. thing. He’s creepy already, but then when he’s dying it’s like 100 times worse. Also, I am incredibly soft and will cry at many things, so I sob at the end of the movie even though I hate it, and since I hate to cry I feel even worse. I’ve refused to watch that movie again for years now.
In Universal Studios I was walking through the Mummy haunted house thing with my family. As we were walking I heard a growl right behind my ear. Thinking it was my dad I yelled Dad Stop! Then proceeded to throw my right elbow back hitting something hard. When I looked it behind me it turned out to be a person in a mummy costume whom I just elbowed in the chest who had came up from the ground.
Worst experience I had at a theme park was at the jurassic park ride in FL. There's a part where a giant metal cage drops suddenly down over your boat and you hear a loud screech of a raptor from inside it. Guess where the ride decided to break down on us? 45 minutes of constant cage rising and falling over us and the ear piercing screech of a raptor ever minute or so. 10/10 would go again.
Once, on a trip to Busch Gardens with my orchestra, my friends and I got stuck on Roman Rapids. It then proceeded to rain. A lot. We, and a good amount of our stuff, were drenched. To this day we joke about Roman Rapids being cursed.
Once at Disney World, while standing in line for the haunted mansion my nose started pouring blood much to the horror of everyone else. All I got was a free rag though
The only time I went to Disneyland, I was almost abducted by Goofy. This was the first time I was almost kidnapped. (The second was during a cousin's birthday)
I went to a performing arts high school in Florida and we were invited a couple of times to shoot on the Universal property in the mid 1990s. One time, I was tasked with getting B-roll on the Earthquake ride and wound up riding that danged thing 15 times. 😂
I was kind of wondering if the studio tour guide was about to start explaining p and q waves and the difference between transcurrent and transform faults. Given the cost of US college, that might justify the entry price!
I rode Back to the Future in the 90's, and I do remember being swallowed by a dinosaur. I don't remember the lava, though. And yes, the Back to the Future theme played throughout. 😆
I can't believe I'm actually the cliche didn't want it until I couldn't have it😭 I had to go check the podcast since I didn't get the references and since I live in Europe AND I have D+ I am now rapidly falling in love with it but can't actually watch the movies🙄😩🤣
Not a theme park, but a local state fair. There was a ride that hung you upside down multiple times. The only thing securing you in was a lap bar. As a small child, the lap bar was way too loose and I easily could slip out. I had to cling to the bar for literal dear life, otherwise I would have just flopped out.
The Back To the Future ride was a lot longer than that so far as I remember. I don't like ET (the movie or the character) either, Luke. But I thought the ride was the best (non-coaster) ride at Universal.
Oh god I'd forgotten the queue for Kong Skull island was better than the actual ride xD somehow, so was the minecraft version! RIP that ride, it only opened in 2016 and it was guff.
I went to both Disney World and Universal Studios while in high school on a band trip in Florida. My long-term memory is very poor, but I do remember having more fun at Universal than at Disney. That would have been in spring of '04 or '05. I can't remember what all the rides I rode were, but I'm sure many of them are gone now. If there was a Jurassic Park ride, then I'm sure I rode it (I love the original trilogy and can't really stand the sequel trilogy). I don't think I rode Back to the Future though even though it still would have been there. I knew Luke hated E.T., because way back on a Show of the Weekend he and Ellen were asked to draw E.T. in 5 seconds. Ellen drew the one from the horrible game that crashed the Western gaming market and Luke point blank refused to even attempt it because he hates E.T. To be fair, it is rubbish. I think I've seen the movie all the way through maybe once, but I can't recall it for certain beyond knowing that I don't like what I can recall of it. This is far enough down to be covered by the show more prompt so I'm not worried about spoilers. Luke laughing so hard he can't even explain about the status is hilarious. Honestly "premium motion statue" just made me think of the first letter of each word and I was then laughing even harder. ...pms...lmao

I mean, given how much he didn't want to talk about it, I was thinking it was going to be something as bad as the Urbosa amiibo debacle.
