I'm using a tanacom 1000 for the first time, and I can't get it to retrieve continuously. How do I take it off the jigging feature?

I just purchased the tanacom 500 using it for catch deep bottom from 200-400m. After watching this im thinking i mightve been better with the 750? do you think it will hold up?

will these work in South African waters , braid 100lbs ,# 0,55mm ,600meters depth perhaps 3 to 6 fish caught on a ten hook trace will the reel handle the 40kg fish weight and fight they put up with
