My dog passed recently just before her 17th birthday. She was disoriented and was having seizures due to end stage renal failure, was not producing red blood cells and had congestive heart failure. I miss her so much
I have a 6 year old rescue that has been diagnosed with idiopathic renal bleeding after noticing blood in her urine. She’s been scoped and no kidney stones, cancer or parasites. Her bloods are currently fine, but her vet has put her on Tranexamic Acid 2x daily to control the bit of blood still present. I feed her organic food and now add in a tsp of wheatgrass and spirulina. I top her meals with Salmon oil. Is there anything else I should be doing or stop doing? She does have a healthy appetite. Thanks!
My dog's creatinine level is 6.. she just now for 6 days she is suffering.. took her to vet for medication.. she is 7 and half years old.. what are the diet i will give
Prescribed off the shelf, low protein kidney protecting foods are readily available. Purina, Halls, and RC produce them, among others. Consult your veterinarian and have urine and blood samples tested. Good luck.
