Nice setup - waiting for my G923 myself. Can’t wait! Suggestion: turn off the arrows and learn to listen to the co-driver... it’ll add a whole new level of realism and ultimately, get you faster 😃
Edit to my last post. Gutted. Last update to this game a month after I paid premium for the GOTY edition, G923, playseat, shifter and buttkicker... they’ve broken support for this wheel. Unplayable. Don’t get this game if you have a G923 because it doesn’t work!

@@patriciarubilar1241 sorry for the late reply - update 1.17 has broken compatibility with most Logitech wheels. Apparently they’re ‘looking into it’. You can find more info on Codemasters DR2.0 forums

@@TitiGameplay ewww you did what with a keyboard. Wheel > controller > keyboard (nevrer) lol. Glad you have the wheel now.
@@djvilune nah keyboard is 10x better than controller. Just use mouse to steer. Problem is with 500+ hp cars but i dont drive those anyway. I had a g29 before but it broke and now i got a car which i prefer over a sim. But sim is still fun and will get another wheel one day.

Decrease your steering angle to 360 degrees. Your adjustments will be more defined and precise. Keep it up though, youll get faster!

Hi Josh, how do I turn the degrees of rotation down to 360 or even lower on games that don't have the option to do so?
@@markweatherall7437 using the Logitech desktop app overrides game settings. Give that a try.

My first wheel was a thrustmaster t80 ferrari edition. Alright wheel for its price, pretty amazed it's lasted almost two years now. Getting a g923 and a gt omega classic wheel stand
I see so many one-hand driving videos. Not against it, just think it's a strange way to drive fast. Wheel looks smooth and worth the money for anyone looking to upgrade some old hardware.
I'm using seq shifter not the paddles so I have to drive with one hand some of the time.
Rally cars very often don't have paddle shifters
Hi, I like your channel, I see that you tested logitech 923 for many games and it was in case you could put your logitech and game settings, thank you very much, greetings.
I tested the game yesterday with the g923 and the FFB and trueforce worked perfectly, today whilst just turning the engine on and not moving the trueforce engine FFB effect starts to rattle like crazy, I turned the trueforce engine to 0 in the settings and it stops completely, even having it at 50% it rattles like crazy. I can run it at 5 % and it's ok, but I'm wondering what has gone on and if I'm missing something?
Did you ever figure this out? This is what I'm trying to figure out right now.
@@JoeGaughran No, I just keep all trueforce effects turned off , except trueforce engine at around 5%, to be honest, I don't think trueforce adds much immersion.
I have a bunch of bass shakers' attached to my seat that do a much better job.
@@00Clive00 this happened to me as well for the first time last night closing the game and reopening it fixed it luckily sounded like my G923 was going to explode
@@sigilmusic3350 it makes enough noise without the true force having a fit.
The wheel and pedals are good value, but I'm definitely going for a belt driven wheel if I ever upgrade, the force feedback in the g923 is so noisy with it's gear driven wheel!

Decrease your steering deadzone to 0 in your game settings, i didnt play dirt rally 2.0 but it should be in the settings like any other racing/driving game.
To bad my pc has love for micro freezes in racing games

No special FFB settings to share, just all set at 100 in DR2.
okay so I'm about to make a setup, but I'm confused on if I should move monitor to the edge of the desk.
If you can, it's best to get the screen close behind the wheel.

The developer needs to add this to the game.
Turn in a bit earlier off the throttle to cause lift off oversteer , will lessen the understeer and can get on the throttle earlier on the exit 😉 good luck
Stupid question, just got the g923 (first ever steering setup) and dirt rally 2.0 (apparently supports this steering wheel)...whilst in game my steering wheel goes all possessed on me. It will start turning left or right by itself and I have to force it in the opposite direction..I see you didn't have this issue? Its calibrated...any tips/ideas please?
That sounds like you have the 'force feedback set to be inverted'. I don't have this wheel running right now to check if the setting is in the Logitech G HUB software or DiRT Rally 2.0. But that is what you're experiencing from that description. So you need to find that setting to correct this.
@@SimRacingCorner Thank you for getting back to me on this. When I start my system up I will look into this and let you know. I was just struggling to race with the wheel and not getting far, when I was on straights the wheel wanted to turn left and right with my holding it or not. And in Corners Id go left or right and it wanted to do the opposite, kinda like auto drive but boy fully. Connected MY control pad and was racing like a pro 🤣 Again thank you ill look in to this.
I'm sure that rev limit beeb is a handy feature when playing the game, but watching a video with the beeb makes it actually painful with the audio on. Still a good video to watch when muted.

hello , i have a g923 and rtx 3070 without the steering wheel the game goes at 200 fps but when i connect it automatically the game goes at 120 fps . If I disable the trueforce from the game everything goes worse , as I saw the version 1.18 is the final version of the game and will not release more ?
I don't know. I haven't tested the G923 in DR2.0 since the update, and it's not my main wheel so it's not setup right now.

@@onedriftyboy TrueForce only works with GRID 2019, the new Gran Turismo and IRacing, not Dirt (at least not yet), but on these games you can turn it off. Don't see why you would, it feels awesome!

I just mapped it in the settings just like any other wheel.

Yes, but it only works with games that have been updated to work with the G923 leds. They work with GRID and Assetto Corsa Competizione

You dont have cracking noise problem?
Rattle noise from the internal gears is a characteristic of all Logitech wheels going all the way back to the G25.

I have been using my g27 for 3 years now and it's still working fine, but its really loud
