Did you serve in the US Army? If so what branch were you in? The US Army is a branch! Like Navy, Marine, Air Force, those are branches. The correct question should have been "Which military branch"
Kyle Lenher is absolutely right. It's a little confusing but the word "branch" is used in two different ways. The Army, Air Force, Navy, etc are branches of the military. However, the Army also uses the word branch to refer to its various specialty areas, such as infantry, artillery, armor, aviation, etc. When you ask an army officer what his branch is, he will tell you I'm an infantry officer, or an artillery officer, or an armor officer. It's like asking an enlisted soldier his MOS.
The Army is such a good branch(which is why I'm joining the Army), its the home of famed units such as the 4th ID, 25th, 1st ID, 3rd Infantry Regiment(Old Guard) 82nd Airborne, 101st Air Assault(historically airborne), 75th Ranger Regiment, Army SF, and Delta. Who says the Marines are the best? Just kidding thanks to all those who have fought for this country and I hope to join in a few months.
I agree with this statement. Because who better to run our nations military than someone who knows its inner workings? A career politician knows nothing of armed service and therefore should not be able to be commander of the world's greatest fighting forces.
Would be awful, actually. Considering how most American soldiers are conservative and i'd rather not have a gun toting, war scarred, religious crusader as a leader. Conservatives will talk your ear off about the constitution and democracy! But they're the first ones to influence politics with religion which is against our constitution and democracy.
They are also the firt ones to risk their lives for your sorry asses to bitch moan and complain. i find that most liberals will never do anything for anyone else. Abunch of blow hards like Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, Bill & hillary Clinton, and you fools.
I'm thinking about it. It's a tough decision because I get good grades and am well off money wise so I don't need to, but I'm not interested in any specific jobs. If I couldn't find a good job I'd probably join the military.
Oh and I served with the Royal Artillery in BAOR using M107 howitzers. On an upgrading course the gunnery officer was a Major in the US Rangers (back in the 70's) he had served in Vietnam. He was training at the Royal School of Artillery in Larkhill. He looked like Clark Kent built like Superman and was a very experienced artillery officer. I had a lot of respect for the man.
My dad was Army. Infantry under Eisenhower and Patton. I was Navy Cold War. He was WIA. German mortar round exploded near enough to him. He lost a leg and carried shrapnel from it in his body. The rest of his life. Passing away in 06 at age 80.
" Today the US Army is filled w/ many diff. branches......would you serve the US Army?... which branch would you serve in." Someone didn't proofread the script. Your script is riddled w/ flaws.
+Marshall HasNoFriends Um...no. There are 5 branches: Navy, Marine, Army, Coast Guard, Air Force. There are diff. DEPARTMENTS w/in each branch. I was in the service...I know.
+MR.X The Army calls each separate entity "branches" infantry is a branch, so is armor, ordinance, MI, chemical, FA, etc... Different services call them different things. I believe the Navy calls them "communities" if I am not mistaken. Thats why when ROTC and West Point cadets graduate, the decide what they want to "branch" into
+MR.X Marines and Cost Guard falls under the Department of the Navy. There are only 3 Departments. The Department of the Army. The Department of the Navy and the Department of the Air Force.
I'm Canadian by birth but lived in Michigan for 6 years. My grandfather and father served as a Canadian Infantry Officer, also my older brother is currently living in America training in the Marine Corps, and I'm planning to do the same once I complete grade 12.
I served in The United States Army for 6 years from 1984 till 1990, U. S. Army Ranger 75 Battalion 82nd class. I was an Army Engineer First, then joined the Rangers. after Basic and my first M O S.

+Bob Smith Wasn't that big of a victory really since it was only a small invasion in the south and if the war had continued it would of been in favour of the UK since all of our veteran troops plus from the colonies would of been sent.
+VolasaCrafterX5 X Pretty much failed with it's objective and failed at invading Canada while the UK invaded the US many times and even burned the white house.
Between the Active component and the Reserves I served for 34 years (10 Active). Mostly Signal Corps, but also Infantry, Intel and Pershing Missile maintenance. While in Signal I served in Engineer, Artillery, Infantry and Air Cav units. Which is why I love the Signal Corps - you can go to any type unit, anywhere in the world.
I've just recently completed AIT as an avionics mechanic and am assigned to the Kansas national maintaining UH-60 A and UH-60 M Blackhawks. My company commander in AIT said the army aviation branch receives 25% of the overall army budget. My personal motto is "So others may come home".
I can't say "did" yet lol. Signed my first contract in November 2009, 4.5 active years 91c at Fort Lewis, now reservist in Ohio with hopes of going back active
Hi yanks Can someone help me with a quiery? My grandfather lived in Alderley Edge near Siddington Cheshire..its South of Manchester Airport uk by about 8 miles. He told me a story about u.s. troops stationed in his village in 1943-1944 He was about 8 years old and used to say to the troops "hey chum have you got any gum" ..in his best American accent using American words and the troops used to say "sure kid there you go" and give him hubba bubba chewing gum the really good stuff he used to say.🤣🤣 His family used to make tea and toast for the g.i. What's a g.i.? Anyway food was rationed and people didn't have hardly any food etc so all the locals could do his make them cups of tea and toast. I desperate to find out which us army unit or g.i unit it was? I've heard it was the 71st reinforcement battalion. It's going to be difficult but if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. I'm obviously aware of the fact that the troop would have probably have past and the unit disbanded but I'm desperate to find out more.
***** marines and seals are not the army, they are the navy. im sorry to say that the Brithis Royal Marines has thougher training just like the Dutch Royal Marines. I do have to say SEALs are better trained then SAS
negative, the Marines were founded in Philadelphia Pennsylvanian November 10th 1775. Also, be more confident you are about to be a young adult, you know very much! semper fi!
So that's when the Navy gave birth to the Corps, huh? You guys ever gonna move out and get your own place? Then maybe we can set a start date for the official age of your branch. J/K! I've been glad more than once to have you guys on my side of the line. No greater friend; no worse enemy. ;-)
I am just 1 person of no signifince, I fight my own wars I face. My family has all been in the military. I thank all of you for the devotion you give for freedom and humanity! God bless you and your family!
+blccleaning How true, if you're in the Navy you're the same as grunts?? Really? Hooah is actually a sanitized version of Uruh, which was borrowed from our allies the Turks in the Korean War. It's hardcore brutal meaning is "to kill'. Combat is the hardest thing a person can do.When you're in the infantry you're doing the most important job in the world. If you served, if you sacrificed, from all Americans, all over the world, we salute you.
glad someone is smart enough ,to actually do the research and find that out. i hate it when i talk to people about WWll and i bring that up and their like, nuuh thats not true bro.
+Alejandro Shein I'm just one of millions, my friend . . . and looking forward to the day you join the Army brotherhood. Wish I had made it a career. You should consider that.
4:54 He asks if you served in the U.S Army then asks if so what branch you served under....that is asking two questions while also combining the two. Its best nobody responds to that question.
The video was specifically about the Army, and he was referring to what role you played and what you did. Technically everyone in the military is part of "The United States Army" as a whole.
+Joe Bob "No it isn't" doesn't really make sense, because so never said that something "is something". I was just saying that we have a big army, a large group of armed soldiers.
BLUEDRAGONFLY No, you said everyone in the military is part of the army. Don't try and change what you said, I can read it right here lol. I'm saying a lot of people think that every branch of the military is in the army. Not just you. But that is false.
Thanks for your service! My dad's friend was in the 201st squad in Washington. He had a badge with a sword in the middle and a lighten bolt on each side of the sword.
+United States Of America Air Defense Artillery Aviation Armor Infantry Engineer Military Police Military Intelligence Signal Corps Chemical Corps Transportation Corp Finance Corps Quartermaster Ordinance Army Nurse Corps Medical Corps Dental Corps Veterinary Corps Judge Advocate are the branches
I served in the U.S. Army reserves as a Combat Engineer (12B). Definitely one the biggest challenge in my life. So much so that I had to leave after 4 years due to worsening health. But I want to try and get in shape again to try my hand as part of the Air Force's security forces.
The American assault line consisted of the following regiments: From the far left, attacking what later became known as San Juan Hill, was the 6th Infantry, the 9th Infantry, the 13th Infantry, the 16th Infantry, the 24th (Colored) Infantry, the 10th (Colored) Cavalry (the 10th was the only unit that assaulted both high points on the San Juan heights), with the 3rd Cavalry, 1st Volunteer Cavalry on the far right, attacking what later became known as Kettle Hill. But look at who took credit for the main hill
Rogers Rangers was formed during the French and Indian wars in the 1750's and is the oldest manual in the U.S. Army. Pro Patria was at Ft.Sill in 1975 when I was stationed there, from 12-75 to 5-77. Then it was a composite Bn made up HHC, Co B, Co B 40th armor, and Co D 57th Signal.
For the man who narrated this, did you live in Louisiana at one point? I was watching the Weather Channel and it was talking about Hurricane Katrina (I live in New Orleans) and I saw a person that looked and sounded a lot like you. You were talking about all the looting and murdering going on and when you came across a group of people trying to steal your car and scared them off with your AK.
Army branches are Infantry, Artillery, Armor, Signal, Intelligence. Engineer, Medical, Aviation, Transportation, and Quartermaster, to list the ones that come to mind.
Idk what my grandpas branch was, he never talked about it but he was in the Vietnam war and he was a airplane engineer, all he said to us grandchildren was war is hell PERIOD. That's all he would say about it to us. RIP
SICKENING SILENCE I am grateful for your grandfathers service. I wanna join the army national guard when I'm an adult to pay back for those who put there lives on the line for my freedom, especially my grandpa and great uncles during ww2.
+gavelwacker I'm proud of your service too. I left after 5 years. To this day I always wonder what it could have been if I stayed in. 12B 1981-1986. 2nd Armored Division and later 7th Engineer Brigade.

+Michael Erskine There are several branches with in the Army. I specifically serve in the Aviation branch. There's also branches like Military intelligence.
Lance Lovell It is not a branch it is a specialty. Army is a branch, Marine Corps is a branch, Coast Guard is a branch, Navy is a branch, hell even the Air Force is a branch... Army Aviation is a specialty, not a branch. Hence the question, "serve much?"
No Aviation is a branch of specialties with in the Army. That is why when you look at the Army Service Uniform there is a branch insignia on the Left Lapel.
Lance Lovell I don't think I can argue with you on that one. You might have it right. We talk about branch of service but maybe we also talk about branch within service I suppose. So have a great day.
For all those that served. God bless you!

Who says the Marines are the best? Just kidding thanks to all those who have fought for this country and I hope to join in a few months.
Don't forget the 3rd Infantry Division
i still think to run for president you should have been in the military prior.
brad dorn
so Hitler?
Fake Account
Pretty much
I agree with this statement.
Abunch of blow hards like Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, Bill & hillary Clinton, and you fools.
did 3 1/2 years in the infantry the hardest but funnest time of my life!
thank you for your service, Brother
I salute you for your service I plan to serve and attempt the army ranger course
Deadman Gaming go for it. just pay attention to what the DI's and the RASP instructors have to say
thank you for service
Honestly, i'm happy i'm not american, their army has some tough standards.
I served in the U.S.A.R. as a 12c10h Combat Engineer Bridge Crewman Instructor. Great breakdown, Sir!
Army Veteran here. 31B ( Military Police ) some of the best years of my life. If i could go back in time i would join up and serve all over again!
I can't wait to join the Army after I graduate high school
+SlickNick i will give you a tip do not choose 13b as your mos
+MoneyMitch 123 Lol I wanna go to college and go 35
good plan
I'm thinking about it. It's a tough decision because I get good grades and am well off money wise so I don't need to, but I'm not interested in any specific jobs. If I couldn't find a good job I'd probably join the military.
go to college do ROTC, get a degree and go in as an officer
im not serving yet, but i plan on being a pilot for the USAF
Aidan McWhirter good luck! stick to it,glad you're considering serving your country!
Collin Sissom ikr thanks :3 i hope i can do it
Change of plans lol. I wont be able to fly for the Air Force because I have a mild color vision deficiency, so I will be flying for the army instead.
Aidan McWhirter fly for the navy. they have a department for aviation that is similar to the air force
I was a 13Bravo. (Field Artillery) A job nobody wants because it's too hard!!!
+Philip Lobrano STFU, POG.
Philip Lobrano Being a 13B is hard but oh so much fun
waiting to finish my enlistment. going to do army national guard with MOS of 12 Bravo. stationed at with the unit in my hometown
+colinp2238 we used the m777, it's a bad mother 155mm of high explosive hate!
0:49 nice grip women!!!
+Tommy.Targe there air force too not army look at there fatigues

Felicito a todos estos hombres de balor desicion y coraje que estan belando por seguridad del pueblo

" Today the US Army is filled w/ many diff. branches......would you serve the US Army?... which branch would you serve in."
Someone didn't proofread the script. Your script is riddled w/ flaws.
+Marshall HasNoFriends Um...no. There are 5 branches: Navy, Marine, Army, Coast Guard, Air Force. There are diff. DEPARTMENTS w/in each branch. I was in the service...I know.
+MR.X The Army calls each separate entity "branches"
infantry is a branch, so is armor, ordinance, MI, chemical, FA, etc... Different services call them different things. I believe the Navy calls them "communities" if I am not mistaken. Thats why when ROTC and West Point cadets graduate, the decide what they want to "branch" into
+Marshall HasNoFriends Their not called branches their called corps.
+MR.X Marines and Cost Guard falls under the Department of the Navy. There are only 3 Departments. The Department of the Army. The Department of the Navy and the Department of the Air Force.
+hhds113 Dept. is diff. from a branch
Please do Australian Army sometime.
Liam Smith I'm pretty sure they are focusing on countries that actually matter.
Dextiery Australia is a a Country that matters.
Dextiery Shots fired
Andrew T Right
Dextiery The Australian army is pretty much mercenaries in all but name for the Americans, so in a way they do matter.
US ARMY, 86-93

+Lawfish66 Nice, bro, thank you for currently serving, brother.I wish you all the good luck
42nd largest in the country isn't even large.
Hes not saying it was
Yes he is, other wise he wouldn't have used the word "large"
+Tech “Nika” Core it would be bigger than New Jersey, which isn't as big as Texas but it's still a lot of land
a state being larger than a country means nothing.
+Tech “Nika” Core fucking stupid
Interesting vid. Knew a few of them. Active Duty Army march 2014 to present. 94M Go Ordnance!

+USMarineRifleman0311 Curious as to what happened @ Franciso/ Tarleton, why that battle was fought twice in 2 weeks..but otherwise impressive list.
Never forget Tripoli!
+US Marine Rifleman I'm guessing most of those battles were mostly skirmishes and not large fought battles.
+US Marine Rifleman You forgot the battle of New Oreleans. If the war of 1812 had continued, we would have won because of that victory.
I'm currently in the us army
Marine Corps next!
Boba Fett Semper Fidelis

Did YOU serve in the Army? If so, comment which Branch below!ummm... Active Duty, Medical Corps?
9th division SS January, 1940 - March, 1945.
+SS Field Marshal nutzee
Oh hello Mr.Fucking Nazi, go back to your little butt hurt country
I can't say "did" yet lol. Signed my first contract in November 2009, 4.5 active years 91c at Fort Lewis, now reservist in Ohio with hopes of going back active
That's kind of fucked up. He served his nation and as a good soldier, followed orders. The troops couldn't help the fact their leader was a mad man!
Yes, Medical Corps
+James Workman think you for your service to our country
Thank you for your service :D 🇺🇸
Your a hero thankyou for saving all the people you did.
I'm a lieutenant in the US Army. 21 years old
Never thought I'd be able to tell an officer to fuck off.
FUCK OFF SIR!!!
Lol
Thank you for your service :D 🇺🇸
officer?
Yeah, sure it's your son.
Hi yanks
Can someone help me with a quiery?
My grandfather lived in Alderley Edge near Siddington Cheshire..its South of Manchester Airport uk by about 8 miles.
He told me a story about u.s. troops stationed in his village in 1943-1944
He was about 8 years old and used to say to the troops "hey chum have you got any gum" ..in his best American accent using American words and the troops used to say "sure kid there you go" and give him hubba bubba chewing gum the really good stuff he used to say.🤣🤣
His family used to make tea and toast for the g.i.
You should do 5 Things You Don’t Know: U.S. Marine Corps
16E Hawk air defense Missile system 1980-1983 if it flies it dies
+Raymond Engle Haha, best slogan yet!
+Raymond Engle nice slogan dude
Do British army please
I heard the British army is tougher then the us army
Bullshit
Brack Barnes Not bullshit, and I'm not even British.
***** hmm try Royal Marines or SAS
***** marines and seals are not the army, they are the navy.
im sorry to say that the Brithis Royal Marines has thougher training just like the Dutch Royal Marines.
I do have to say SEALs are better trained then SAS
birthday of the USMC 10 NOVEMBER 1775
Was it 75? I thought 76, I'm only 14 so I don't know much
negative, the Marines were founded in Philadelphia Pennsylvanian November 10th 1775. Also, be more confident you are about to be a young adult, you know very much! semper fi!
That date will be in your head by heart if you ever join the Marines. They'll make sure of that.
So that's when the Navy gave birth to the Corps, huh? You guys ever gonna move out and get your own place? Then maybe we can set a start date for the official age of your branch. J/K! I've been glad more than once to have you guys on my side of the line. No greater friend; no worse enemy. ;-)
I served 3 years in the Army National Guard. These were interesting facts I didn't know about my uniform! If you got more, I would love to hear them!
I am just 1 person of no signifince, I fight my own wars I face. My family has all been in the military. I thank all of you for the devotion you give for freedom and humanity! God bless you and your family!
There are only 2 branches in the military - The infantry and everyone else
Heard that!
B1/50
+blccleaning Hooah!
+blccleaning Really? So how about us Medics that humped ground with you? Are you really going to refer to your
Doc as "everyone else"???
if a medic was with infantry unit he was infantry
+blccleaning How true, if you're in the Navy you're the same as grunts?? Really? Hooah is actually a sanitized version of Uruh, which was borrowed from our allies the Turks in the Korean War. It's hardcore brutal meaning is "to kill'. Combat is the hardest thing a person can do.When you're in the infantry you're doing the most important job in the world. If you served, if you sacrificed, from all Americans, all over the world, we salute you.
Swastika refers to peace in hindu which i m
Manji*
Ancient Sanskrit
glad someone is smart enough ,to actually do the research and find that out. i hate it when i talk to people about WWll and i bring that up and their like, nuuh thats not true bro.
+William Fann Because it isn't, it's the Manji, not Swastika. Swastika is tilted, Manji is not.
T-34 From Soviet Land The Manji is a backwards Swastika and the length of the Manji is shorter
I was a 13F aka Fister.
Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
+Alejandro Shein I'm just one of millions, my friend . . . and looking forward to the day you join the Army brotherhood. Wish I had made it a career. You should consider that.
+Alejandro Shein A life style well worth living.
+Alejandro Shein I appreciate that. We can but try . . . now it's your turn. LOL
+Alejandro Shein jewwwwwwwwwwwww
+OhhFG Me? No.
4:54 He asks if you served in the U.S Army then asks if so what branch you served under....that is asking two questions while also combining the two. Its best nobody responds to that question.
God bless America. Слава Америка.
The ending made no sense at all
Were you in the army? If so, which branch? LOL
lol
+Jon The Army has many different branches. You have the Armor branch, Signal Branch, Engineers and so on. There was nothing wrong with his question.
+Bradley Swanson i mean, we call them corps, but i understood what he was saying
Lol he said if u served in the US army what branch did u serve in 😂 don't u mean the military because the army is a branch
The video was specifically about the Army, and he was referring to what role you played and what you did. Technically everyone in the military is part of "The United States Army" as a whole.
+BLUEDRAGONFLY LOL no it isn't. You got that backwards. I cant believe how many people still see it that way.
+Joe Bob I meant they are technically part of an army
Brief history/part of the my life that i lived for.june2020.
US Army with the 773rd Transportation Company out of Fort Totten, NY Very proud of my service to our Great Nation. Hoo-Ah.
Thanks for your service! My dad's friend was in the 201st squad in Washington. He had a badge with a sword in the middle and a lighten bolt on each side of the sword.
Did you serve in the US Army ? If so post in the comments which branch.... 😐
Dumbass he's asking if you were Airborne, Infantry, Artillery, etc.
Shouldn't he have said "If you served in the US Army, post in the comments what your MOS was"...
+Xense airborne is not a branch.
+United States Of America Air Defense Artillery Aviation Armor Infantry Engineer Military Police
Military Intelligence Signal Corps Chemical Corps
Transportation Corp Finance Corps Quartermaster
Ordinance Army Nurse Corps Medical Corps

British army
U.k army please
British army !!! Please
I served in the U.S. Army reserves as a Combat Engineer (12B). Definitely one the biggest challenge in my life. So much so that I had to leave after 4 years due to worsening health. But I want to try and get in shape again to try my hand as part of the Air Force's security forces.
I was a 19K, M1 Armor Crewman, then swapped to Air Force as a 2T271 Air Trans, and now back to the Army as Drill Sergeant
Branch referes to Infantry, Chemical, Artilary, Aviation, Cavalry, Signal, engineers, Warent Officer, etc.
Served 1970-79. Infantry. Mortars. Artillery. Fire Support Specialist, (Forward Observer.) I love making a big noise!
I served in the USAF. We worked with US Army personnel. Some of the most dedicated patriots, I have ever been around. Great Warriors!!

Thanks for you're grandparents and uncles service. USA
SICKENING SILENCE MERICA 🇺🇸
20 years with the U.S. Army and damned proud of it!
+gavelwacker I'm proud of your service too. I left after 5 years. To this day I always wonder what it could have been if I stayed in. 12B 1981-1986. 2nd Armored Division and later 7th Engineer Brigade.
"Did you serve in the US Army? If so what branch were you in?" 4:52
My response, "Does the person writing the script for Military . com UA-cam channel, not know that the US Army is a branch and it should be, Did you serve in the US Military? If so what branch were you in?"
"Did you serve in the Army? If so, what branch?" It was going so well until then...
To all veterans and service members: Thanks for serving our country!
I myself was in the 1st Bn 22nd FA,1st Armored Division and 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade and proud of both units"This We"ll Defend Go Army
"Did you serve in the army, if so what branch?"
LMFAOOOOOOOO civilians are such funny creatures
At 4:54 to 4:55, "Did you serve in the US Army? If so, what branch did you serve." Serve much?
I think he meant to say if NOT
+Michael Erskine There are several branches with in the Army. I specifically serve in the Aviation branch. There's also branches like Military intelligence.
Lance Lovell
It is not a branch it is a specialty.
