My girlfriend and I just got back from 16 days of England/Wales/Scotland and very happily used this vlog as a loose template for our visit to the Isle of Skye -- excellent source material for us! Cheers!
@@SiempreSydney Wow, sorry for the incredible delay here! So, we did it exactly a year ago today. We very seriously misjudged the lead time we needed to make reservations so that we could really cover the island and had to make it a day trip given that we were staying in Invergarry. Still, we covered a great deal of ground in our day. So, my girlfriend enjoyed the Old Man of Storr hike the most, probably because of how dramatic it all is. We had incredible weather on our day -- absolutely beautiful. To be honest, I enjoyed seeing Portree, Mealt Falls and Kilt Rock(s), too, but I probably enjoyed our drive up and around the top of that same peninsula on A855 (there was absolutely no traffic when we did this for whatever reason) the most and over to Uig, at which point we ate at a small restaurant (neither of us can figure out what it was), made it to Dunvegan Castle and finally, due to time and the lowering sun, we cut due east, across the island and headed back out to Invergarry. The island, in and of itself, and the views are just astounding. We're hoping to do it again and really plan it out like you two did. You two really did it right -- very envious. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for this fantastic vlog, Sydney! My now husband and I (Chicago & TX natives) eloped to Scotland in June 2015 and were married on the Isle of Skye, near Elgol. (See avatar-ha!) Your gorgeous video captured the area/overall 'feel' so well, & brought back so many memories - I smiled, laughed & teared up all at once! (Return trip: 2020!) Thx again, I can't wait to check out the rest of your vlogs!
Ah! This made my day :) Thanks so much for watching & leaving a note. How amazing - that would be such a beautiful spot to elope (I have goosebumps just thinking about it). Hope you have an amazing return to Scotland.... it's still stunning & has so many secrets waiting to be explored. Thanks again! xxx
Such a beautiful place, very mystical and being in the mountains in all sorts of weather makes you appreciate life and makes you feel at one with nature and feel alive. ❤ Isle of Skye
Thank you so much for a wonderful view of our beautiful Isle of Skye. I’m from Glasgow and I’m going there for a week in April. So glad you had an amazing time. Haste ye back 🏴
We got super lucky with the weather and pretty much killed ourselves with hiking when the sun was out. It's hard to take a bad photo when the sun is shining there! Thank you though Shaun - really appreciate it coming from you! :)
Great video of my home country , I haven’t even been up there yet but your well made video has wet the appetite . Glad you guys enjoyed beautiful 🏴🏴
My step brother just moved there. I'm so proud of him because he used to always get into fights, drugs, and smoking. But now he has his own home with a lucky lass.
Fantastic video well filmed and presented. Really liked the way you put in the post code (zip code) of the locations you visited.I spent two fantastic weeks on Skye many years ago now & have to say the Quiraing walk (featured) is one of the best days you can ever have, stunning views ... real 'Lord of the Rings' landscape.Well done I shall subcribe to your channel
Thank you! Yeah post codes are such an amazing source of information over here :) We got super lucky with the weather & you're right - such a Lord of the Rings type feel! Thanks for subscribing & watching! :)
Andrew, after having watching the video by Yuri Palma on his youtube channel( BEST landscape I have ever seen...on Skye... you will understand why...), do you know where is the cave there shown, then 2'08", and base of waterfall shown at 1'35"?
Yes! I was so pleasantly surprised by Talisker, thought it would be way too smokey, but actually really enjoyed their core range. Also a great activity for any of Isle of Skye's infamous rainy days!
Beautifully filmed video of a stunning location! The music made it hard to watch--too loud for the type of serene scenery you were showing, so we had to turn it way down. But thank you for showing such a lovely, ancient destination.
Briliant and beautiful, Sydney! Shawn and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I love, love, love Isle of Skye. Last time there was in1992 but it looks just as beautiful as I remember. Happy Travels!
Ahhh that all means so much. Thank you! Skye was an incredible place, I could see you guys (and Txuri) settling in quite well there. Miss you all ... maybe it's time for a Scotland trip??
A fabulous tour around....you certainly found the best b&b. There were of course magnificent places on the tour but you missed out the Cullin mountains. I was hoping. Any how, a memorable trip. Mark.
You're right of course. If you have demands then you have to have good time management I guess and you can't do everything. Mine is less tips more adventure and a project to explore a river...some great hikes on my channel though, which was my dear twin brother Paul's also but he tragically died in November. So if you take a look Paul's there in spirit. Take care and the very best. Mark.
Hi Sydney, many thanks for your kindness. I think you create very good videos and convey yourself well my friend. Keep at it. I will visit again. Mark.
I lived in Skye for four months but I missed Cullin mountains, too...But I will be back next May. Do you know if 2'05" of video by Yuri Palma on his youtube channel is a shot from Cullin area?
Great ...thanks Heading to scotland next year in summer Good to see a bit of it before we actually go! Gonna stay in Portree for three days so this was helpful The beauty just made me ache Can't wait! Won't visit any breweries etc so will have more time for nature👏
Yay! Have so much fun - Portree was super fun, don't miss out on Cafe Arriba! Great place to base yourself to explore!! Very excited for you :) If you head to siempresydney.com/category/travel/scotland/ you can see all my Scotland videos/blogs. Also make sure to book in a trip with Misty Isle Boat Trips - it was a definite highlight !! xx thanks for watching!
Hi, what a great trip down memory lane that was. Thanks for sharing. Been there in 2009 and 2015. Can't wait to be back there. First time we went was in July and the traffic wasn't all that bad. Not sure how the situation is now. I've heard that it can get very crowed at The Man Of Storr carpark in the summer months. I really could live there. Don't mind the bad weather.
Dirk Goris Hi there! How wonderful that you've been twice - definitely worth it. A tiny island that has so much to offer. :) good to know about the tourist season! what I can't quite imagine are the big buses heading up the windy roads to the quiraing!
Completely agree! Something special about it that makes it feel even more remote. And so far I really have enjoyed our time in Aberdeen! It's a beautiful city and if you have a car, there is so much to do nearby. Nice people too :) I work for BrewDog - which keeps me busy, but also makes for a wonderful built in community up here in the Northeast! I'm hoping to do a "weekend in Aberdeen" & an apartment tour video here soon! Where abouts are you based?
A nice little video this, showing some of the great sights to see in Skye. I was there last November, and going again this October. I only read a few days ago that the island gets swamped with people in the summer seasons, which I had no idea about! I definitely prefer the quieter months. There's so much to see and do here, and coupled with the deep history including that of the Vikings makes it a fairytale place to visit. Am thinking of logging the next trip myself; I see you're using Olympus cameras for it... I've relied on mine for the last couple of years and they are incredible bits of kit!
Thanks Tom! So happy to hear you enjoyed the video - Olympus's are amazing right! If you love the Vikings I would DEFINITELY recommend getting up to Orkney & Shetland. Especially Shetland in January for the Viking festival... Definitely on my bucket list! However Orkney is a bit closer & amazing as well - siempresydney.com/travel/europe/orkney-islands-mainland-west-coast/ (just incase you want a sneak peek) ;)
Ah thank you Kenneth! This made my day :) Definitely check out the Fraser Island vlog I'm releasing this week - should be a good one! Wishing you all the best, hope you had a wonderful weekend!
I was there in 2004 and 2005. We walked all the way along the coast from Elgol into Loch Coruisk (not Loch Corsig!). Thanks for posting; your video reminded me of this enchanting island's wonderful beauty. We had much better weather than you appear to have had. :-)
I'm 14 and have lived on skye my whole life cause my family is from here and I do think it has beautiful views. The only thing is there is nothing to do for us kids and teens 😕
Hey Kai! Yeah I definitely know what you mean. I grew up in a pretty rural area as well - maybe try pretending you're a tourist in your own home? Go out & hike, see the sites! Maybe plan a few camping/backpacking trips with friends? Or if you love video - start making videos about the place you live in, it will definitely make it seem a bit more exciting. Thanks so much for watching & for the comment. Try to enjoy skye
I live in central Scotland, and although there is much to do, I would trade it in a heartbeat to stay in a location as beautiful as Skye. Your younger years you might be a bit gutted that you don't have as much to do. But the older you get the more you will appreciate staying in such a lovely area. When you're young you want to party, go to clubs, and live the nightlife. But that will go away, and eventually, you will want that solitude back. I live in Scotland and haven't done half the things in this video lol. The rat race keeps us away from nature and its beauty. Keep your chin up pal, you have your whole life to experience whatever you want.
Great video, and good timing as I'm hiring a VW camper van to drive up from South of England, in October, can't wait after seeing this 😊 such an awesome place. Love Scotland and lived there for a few years as a teen ❤️
Ah I'm so jealous! Have so much fun :) Let me know if you need any advice/ recommendations. Here's a link to all my posts regarding Scotland & England siempresydney.com/travel/united-kingdom/ ... ENJOY!
First thing first, it's really awesome vlog, and thanks for all the small bits of information you have provided with. We are to Scotland in August and we are drive the Highlands empty for places to see.
Hey! Have you been to Glasgow!? We recently posted our top 10 things to do in Glasgow video and we are trying to showcase Scotland. Would love your thoughts on our content and would appreciate a sub if you enjoy our content! We are going for our first 100!
I think it's definitely possible! From my perspective, the hardest think you would face is the weather! But I don't have much experience travelling with 2-year olds, so I really can't say for sure :) xx
Thank you! :) Robert - I'd say anytime in the spring through fall. Better chance of good weather in the summer, but you might be battling the horrific midges!
Im going to Elgol for a 6 week geological mapping dissertation on Friday, although as I am only a university student I do not have access to a car for the duration. Do you happen to remember how good the shop at Elgol was for basic food items to avoid the 10km trek to Broadford? I realise this is an obscure detail so no worries if you cant remember! : )
Hey Andrew! How cool - that sounds awesome :) From what we saw, I don't think that it would be very substantial. The shop we went into seemed to have more chocolates, rugs, etc. I don't remember there being much grocery, etc. However they may be another shop in Elgol that we didn't visit! Best of luck with you journey! xx
great vlog and such an inspiring trip! watching your hikes made me think "why am I on my phone instead of hiking?!?" oh yeah because it's midnight and I'm not there haha. another bucket list trip idea or two million. is tourist season summer I imagine?
Brenna Pelletier haha well I'm so happy that it's sufficing watching it on UA-cam for now! But definitely try to come see it for yourself - videos don't quite do it justice :) Yep! Tourist season is July & August from my understanding. Those roads are so tiny & I just can't quite imagine what they'd be like jam packed with cars & big buses!!
Rha Falls...good for a swim! Lealt falls...best one is the last step of the waterfall, but you have to go down a steep walkway...aslo good for a nice shower. Jann`s cakes...the best on the isle in my opinion...there´s so much more on Skye..not only the usual suspects ;-)
Hey Sven! Thanks for watching & for your note :) So many amazing swimming spots on Isle of Skye - I'm bummed, I don't think that we made it to the very bottom of Lealt falls. Dalton still dreams about Jann's cakes - SO good. I was definitely bummed that a few of the cafes I really wanted to visit weren't open yet (as we were a bit ahead of tourist season). Another reason to go back I guess! xx
I am supposed to be on the Isle of Skye right now if it wasn’t for Covid. Thank you for sharing it with me. Beautiful video. What time of year did you go?
I am in a wheelchair. Are some of the areas able to be ridden on a mountain bike? I’m trying to get an off road wheelchair and it’s basically a wheelchair with 4 mountain bike tires
I'm sure you could, but to be honest am not 100% sure on that one! I would get in touch with a few of the tourist info office as I'm sure they'll have tons of ideas!
Well done for doing so much in a short time! I live on the Isle of Skye, 17 years I have been here and I never tire of it! I'm pleased you had a good time X
That is so cool!! I just had the pleasure of going to the Isle of Skye last month and absolutely loved it ua-cam.com/video/E27wivEFVfE/v-deo.html such a beautiful place ❤
Hi! I really enjoyed this vlog, you got some really beautiful shots. I'm driving up to Skye this weekend so been binge watching some vlogs haha. I subbed to you
We have visited Scotland in 2017 and only just edited the video from climbing Arthur `s Seat in Edinburgh. Bumped into your channel and really impressive and well created so big like from us and all the best. Also if you have time more than welcome to our channel @
Hi Jakub! I have an Olympus OMD EM10. amzn.to/2owBg6w It's a great, versatile mirrorless camera! The best part is it's quite small & lightweight while allowing for full manual settings & the capability to change out your lenses. If you have any questions about it, please let me know! Thanks for watching!
Hey! We went in the beginning of April, so I bet it might be quite similar? Maybe a bit colder & darker in November? However not to far off, just on the other side of "summer" ;) Let me know if I can answer any other questions!
Lived there 4 months including November. Totally different situation from August and July, and suppose also from April...always raining...if you want to take picture, August and September are the best months, watch video by Yuri Palma on his youtube channel, and you will understand why...
It's not super close to any major airports - Glasgow is probably the closest. But if you rent a car you can get out there in a few hours! And I'm sure there are tent campgrounds and wild camping is currently an option in Scotland too - so YES!
Hi Vanessa! We were there in April - I would definitely think if you made it a month or so later it should be a bit greener :) Thanks so much for watching!
My wife and I will be visiting the Isle of Skye as part of a 10 day Highland vacation this October. What time of year was this video taken? You did a great job showing the different places that you visited.
Hi Stephen, thank you! How fun - that will be awesome! This was in April. I would imagine that it would be actually quite similar in October? Just the other side of summer than I was. Enjoy Scotland - it's stunning!
Hi Chan! Thanks for watching :) Yep that song is Dancing in the Mess (Instrumental Version) by Frigga from Epidemic Sound ( player.epidemicsound.com/#/search/?search_query=frigga ) Enjoy!!
What a beautiful video! I have a little question - I broke my leg a couple of months ago so I'm not yet at my full physical ability again, but I am wanting to visit IoS later this year. Were the hikes steep/strenuous? Thank you love!
+Becky Rae I'm so excited for you! You should be totally fine on every hike we did, except Old Man of Storr. It wasn't crazy hard, but definitely the most strenuous/steep of the bunch. The Quiraing is pretty flat & easy and really one where you can turn around wherever. Misty Isle Boat Trips would definitely be worth it too because you can get of the heart of the Black Cuillins & then the walk to loch was not bad at all. Hope you have a blast!!
I live in Uig at Lon Ruadh! I live in a 20-year-old bed and breakfast and it used to be a giant hill. :) also, I'm a little sad that you said " lock " instead of " loch " so many people pronounce it wrong if they aren't Scottish 😂 Ohhh you pronounced " Gaelic " right! My Canadian teacher pronounces it " Gaylic " 😂
Ahhh! Sounds like an amazing place to live. Yes the 'ch' Scottish sound is a difficult one to master! Still working on it ;) I was super surprised when I learned the difference between 'gaelic' pronunciations - now the other way sounds wrong to my ears!
Neist lighthouse is now operated remotely from elsewhere. The former keepers' cottages are in private ownership. It's a shame they're not being put to better use.
Agreed! It was really sad to see it in that state. I actually did a bit of research afterwards to see what was going on, what an amazing property to own - you could do so much with it!
Haha I would love that, or at least do a collab with them! Outer hebrides trip would be the bucketlist one. Or maybe Shetland for Up Helly Ah. Or make the North Coast 500. Haha so many amazing spots to visit! Thanks for watching :)
I been going to Skye for 10 years , spend a week or more at a time hundreds of places haven’t, seen yet, so three days you can’t see everything on skye
Thanks for this nice video...Next week we are on Skye for 7 days. You definetly inspired me to visit some places you showed.Really looking forward to it.May I ask, which lens you used for the landscapes on the Olympus?Kind regards from Berlin Andreas
Hi Berlin! How did you enjoy Skye? Where was your favorite spot? For my lens I actually use a lens converter ( amzn.to/2owQoAO )... A great, cheaper alternative to buying a whole new lens. To be honest, I almost never take it off now! Thanks for watching :)
My girlfriend and I just got back from 16 days of England/Wales/Scotland and very happily used this vlog as a loose template for our visit to the Isle of Skye -- excellent source material for us! Cheers!
Ah! That's amazing to hear, thanks for sharing. Inspiring to keep making videos :) What did you enjoy the most?!

Hi, unfortunately due to the Coronavirus we have had to cancel but hopefully will go at a later date ☹️
Isle of Skye is such a pretty place. It was so beautiful the Quiraing brought a tear to my eye, lol
I am emulating the Fairy Pools in a trout pond currently under construction. Thanks for the view!
Really cool vlog. Those views are amazing. Both times I've been there the weather has been terrible but I really want to go back in summer
We got super lucky with the weather and pretty much killed ourselves with hiking when the sun was out. It's hard to take a bad photo when the sun is shining there! Thank you though Shaun - really appreciate it coming from you! :)
I'm not surprised it was bad weather we always get rain and wind here😩
I live on Skye... this place is pure LOVE!!! 💕
Agreed! Magic in the air :)
Great video of my home country , I haven’t even been up there yet but your well made video has wet the appetite . Glad you guys enjoyed beautiful 🏴🏴

Yes! I was so pleasantly surprised by Talisker, thought it would be way too smokey, but actually really enjoyed their core range. Also a great activity for any of Isle of Skye's infamous rainy days!
I cycled Lands end to John O Groats and stopped there over night happy memories.
That is so cool!! I haven't done that ride yet but hope to one day!
Not exactly on the way , did you get lost ?
Thank you for this video. The scenery is absolutely stunning.
Thank you! Agreed - it's a truly incredible place!
I only had a day on a bus tour from Inverness last fall, so I just got a wee taste of this beautiful place!
It's so beautiful!

Planning my trips for this year, thank you for making this video really helped me to make my decision, definitely going to Isle of Sky.
Good video and photography. Crisp editing. Background score Ho scope of betterment. Adorable couple.
A fabulous tour around....you certainly found the best b&b. There were of course magnificent places on the tour but you missed out the Cullin mountains. I was hoping. Any how, a memorable trip. Mark.

Jonathan Miller I’m still in skye after a bottle
Great ...thanks

It really is - such an incredible, magical place! So happy you enjoyed it :)
Coop. Been there a month ago and visited all these places except RHA FALLS
Isle of skye is under rated , but its a gem to grab :)
Agreed! Such a magical spot :) Thanks for watching X
One of the most beautiful places i have ever been to.

My uncle lives in the Isle of Skye and he lives down the road from the oyster shed 😊

Joe Ninety och no August is the Rainy season!!
It's 2023 and I loved your video! Can you tell me what time of year you visited?
What a fantastic beautifully presented video. Loved it. You have a new subscriber. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠
@siempresydney AMAZING VLOG!!! I'm a new fan from now on!! GOD BLESS YOUR HEART, TEAM, FINANCIES, AND TRAVELS! 😄👍ENJOY

When you're young you want to party, go to clubs, and live the nightlife. But that will go away, and eventually, you will want that solitude back. I live in Scotland and haven't done half the things in this video lol. The rat race keeps us away from nature and its beauty. Keep your chin up pal, you have your whole life to experience whatever you want.
buy camera or use your mobile and enjoy avery moment ...man that nature eround can inspire in to anything ...i mean anything
Kai, I lived there 5 months, two years ago. Let me suggest video by Yuri Palma and another by Paul Picca, on their yt channels.
ENJOY!
SiempreSydney oh bless you thank you 👍🏻
Great video guys! Many thanks.
Thank you! :)
First thing first, it's really awesome vlog, and thanks for all the small bits of information you have provided with. We are to Scotland in August and we are drive the Highlands empty for places to see.
Thank you! Enjoy - you're going to have a fabulous time. Scotland is a beautiful place!
Great blog, been there twice and going back again this summer. Love the place.
Hey! Have you been to Glasgow!? We recently posted our top 10 things to do in Glasgow video and we are trying to showcase Scotland. Would love your thoughts on our content and would appreciate a sub if you enjoy our content! We are going for our first 100!
Thanks :) It's really incredible huh.... I need to get back over there - also dying to visit the outer hebs!
Hey! Yeah I actually have a Glasgow Vlog as well :) such a good city! Best of luck with your videos
Can't wait to visit .You think it would be ideal to visit these places with a 2 year old kid . Thanks x
I think it's definitely possible! From my perspective, the hardest think you would face is the weather! But I don't have much experience travelling with 2-year olds, so I really can't say for sure :) xx
Not ideal at all.
Great awesome video really stunning scenery.
Omg i live in skye i am sooo happy u made a vlog about it
Lol me too😂💜
when is the best time to visit Sky,it is for next year, thanks.Robert
Thank you! :) Robert - I'd say anytime in the spring through fall. Better chance of good weather in the summer, but you might be battling the horrific midges!
Thanks!!
Very well presented and interesting video. Thanks.
Thank you X
wow love the blog we are going up in september i can not wait thanks for all the tips
Yay! Enjoy :) Scotland is an amazing place!
what a great video, why arent you guys up there at the 300k mark, very professional and enlightening
Thanks Sophie! :) So happy that people are able find some use out of our adventures & really just enjoying making these videos on the side. Cheers!
If ever I move from Moxley, it will be to Skye.
It's such a stunning spot :) Would be a good choice!
fantastic video I missed when I was in highland
+zhong shenming it's definitely a bit out of the way... next time!!
But definitely try to come see it for yourself - videos don't quite do it justice :)
Yep! Tourist season is July & August from my understanding. Those roads are so tiny & I just can't quite imagine what they'd be like jam packed with cars & big buses!!
Lovely scenery 🌄🌅 and background music! 🎵🎹
Thank you!
Another reason to go back I guess!
xx
SiempreSydney Jann is a friend of mine and she taught us to bake her cookies 😁
Ace apart from failing to climb the Black Cuillins or at least the Red Cuillins!
I know! Not enough time, but definitely want to go back & do it. As well as go to the infamous ceilidh on Isle of Eigg.
@@SiempreSydney thank you
Great video - I've been writing down all your tips! When it's safe to do so we can't wait to visit Skye. Thank you :)
+ScotlandTheBrave - I think you'll appreciate my pronunciation around 6:45 ;)
Well done for doing so much in a short time! I live on the Isle of Skye, 17 years I have been here and I never tire of it! I'm pleased you had a good time X
That is so cool!! I just had the pleasure of going to the Isle of Skye last month and absolutely loved it ua-cam.com/video/E27wivEFVfE/v-deo.html such a beautiful place ❤
Thanks Zoe! We had the best time - I can imagine it's a place that is always showing you new wonders
I live in the Isle of Skye
Lucky girl! Such a wonderful area!
Hollie_ 500 You're so lucky I'm only a ferry journey away and I can't go 😂
Marry me
Me too
Don't talk about the...MIDGES !
Hi! I really enjoyed this vlog, you got some really beautiful shots. I'm driving up to Skye this weekend so been binge watching some vlogs haha. I subbed to you
Meg yay!! This made my day. Let me know what you think of Skye- crossing my fingers that you'll get sunshine!
I invite all the people to come and watch our video from the Isle of Skye. This is not a blog, but a short and epic video from our mini trip 🙌
Best video about skye
Beautiful place 👌
Great video . Hi from Australia. I've subscribed
Harold clark thank you!! We may be moving to Sydney in the not so distance future ... so I may be needing some advice!
SiempreSydney Avoid Western Sydney lmao
superb looked an epic time.. some great choices..:)
Thanks! We really enjoyed it :) Such a stunning place - get outside & I don't think you can go wrong!
Thanks I’ll try the boat 🚤 trip
We have visited Scotland in 2017 and only just edited the video from climbing Arthur `s Seat in Edinburgh. Bumped into your channel and really impressive and well created so big like from us and all the best. Also if you have time more than welcome to our channel @
Can I just ask you what camera did you use? Thank you.
SiempreSydney Thanks for an inspirational vlog been to Skye on two occasions thanks for reminder of how great it was.
Love from Jimbo
hello , could you share when you travelled this place ? any idea how the weather will be in November ?
Hey! We went in the beginning of April, so I bet it might be quite similar? Maybe a bit colder & darker in November? However not to far off, just on the other side of "summer" ;) Let me know if I can answer any other questions!
pouria far The weather is going to be a bit dull you will have the most amazing sunsets ever
Lived there 4 months including November. Totally different situation from August and July, and suppose also from April...always raining...if you want to take picture, August and September are the best months, watch video by Yuri Palma on his youtube channel, and you will understand why...
How far is this place from the airport? Also can you tent camp there?
It's not super close to any major airports - Glasgow is probably the closest. But if you rent a car you can get out there in a few hours! And I'm sure there are tent campgrounds and wild camping is currently an option in Scotland too - so YES!
SiempreSydney -- thank you ☺️
hi there -- hoping to hit Skye in may; what dates were you there? (im hoping to go when it's a smidge more green!) thanks so much!
Hey nice video! May I know the name of the song around 4minutes mark? Thanks in advance! :)
Hi Chan! Thanks for watching :)
Yep that song is Dancing in the Mess (Instrumental Version) by Frigga from Epidemic Sound ( player.epidemicsound.com/#/search/?search_query=frigga )
Enjoy!!
SiempreSydney thanks alot!!
Very beautiful !
SiempreSydney Sounds wonderful! Thank you so much, that's so helpful! :-)
I live in Uig at Lon Ruadh! I live in a 20-year-old bed and breakfast and it used to be a giant hill. :)
also, I'm a little sad that you said " lock " instead of " loch " so many people pronounce it wrong if they aren't Scottish 😂
Ohhh you pronounced " Gaelic " right! My Canadian teacher pronounces it " Gaylic " 😂
Ahhh! Sounds like an amazing place to live. Yes the 'ch' Scottish sound is a difficult one to master! Still working on it ;)
I was super surprised when I learned the difference between 'gaelic' pronunciations - now the other way sounds wrong to my ears!
Awesome video 👍
Thanks Scott!
That was awesome music, what's the song called?
Nice one guys
Thanks John!
You both should work for visit Scotland :) ..... Epic vlog ...hugs from Inverness.
Haha I would love that, or at least do a collab with them! Outer hebrides trip would be the bucketlist one. Or maybe Shetland for Up Helly Ah. Or make the North Coast 500. Haha so many amazing spots to visit! Thanks for watching :)
@@SiempreSydney what about 1 bottle of buckfast and a fix of heroin for £50? Scotland for ever
Thank you 🙏
I been going to Skye for 10 years , spend a week or more at a time hundreds of places haven’t, seen yet, so three days you can’t see everything on skye
what car was it?..i really like the idea of sleeping in the boot. could you tell me what car was it ?
Hey! It was a 1995 VW Polo :) Here's a full video on how we do it - ua-cam.com/video/4ADCTZ1BpQY/v-deo.html
Cool report ✊🏼
Thank you!
Beautiful! I love Scotland. Did you visit in October? The heather looks a bit brown.😊🍁
The young lambs give the clue, springtime.
That was awesome thanks 👍
Thank you :)
What an amazing vlog 👌🏽Thanks!
Thank you!! Really appreciate your comment & thank you for watching :)
Thank you.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching X
Hi Sydney! Amazing vid:) During which time of the year did you do this trip?
Hey! It was in March or April I believe :)
Beautiful! Nice job.
Thank you!
thats what i call a vlog
Thank you! XX
I was supposed to go there 2 years ago, unfortunately I couldn’t
What a bummer! You definitely need to make it a priority to get there :)
You canny beat the Scottish scenery
Agreed X :)
can't beat rural Scotland
Agreed - it's gorgeous!
plz add ur tour map in this video ... ll help to plan our journey .
That's a great idea - I'll try to get one up! In the meantime, I have the sites organised by region here: siempresydney.com/travel/isle-of-skye/
