Jack essentially died. Or, at the very least, he was simply too close to death by the time Manny saved him. The others never went through any sort of trauma when they became Guardians/spirits, so they kept their memories.
You might also want to mention that the whole reason he was targeting Jack in the movie was because Jack is NightLight reincarnated. To corrupt the first person to oppose him the first true Guardian.
@@thesheerwoodcrow5465 it also explains Jack's fighting style night light after being brought back from pitch's blackened heart thought using a spear a weapon very similar to Jack's Shepherd's crook there by both using a staff weapon based fighting style. Honestly, Pitch Black has to be one of the most compelling villains in recent history. He’s cruel, mysterious, dignified, and ominous all at the same time. And, of course, he’s literally the embodiment of fear. In other words, he can never truly be defeated; only overpowered or suppressed
You know finding out about his daughter and their relationship really adds an extra layer to what says to Jack in Antarctica about longing for a family. I mean I get he was trying to get Jack on his side but with this information it just makes that scene sadder because he actually did mean it, he searched for his daughter, he tried to save her when he was tricked, and then her basically disowning him for centuries, that had to be agony for him. He wanted her back but it was too little too late, and I think in that moment for a brief second when trying to get Jack on his side he cracked and showed that who he was before was still inside, possibly still fighting but no one could see so no one would help, though since it was stated that there’s still a chance they can save him I’m gonna hold on to the slim hope they will do just that.
Pitch had always been an interesting character to me. And I had heard that he had once been a father and wanted so badly to know what happened to him. This story just sounds so sad, knowing now that he was just possessed by those monsters. Makes me have a slight feeling of the "you're still in there" cliché lol. I definitely see Pitch in a new light now. Well...not light...in a new shadow XD Now I need to read these books! Awesome video, dude! Happy Holidays, by the way!

Nice job Isaac.
Long story short before he became known as Santa he was a thief who had no family growing up and pillages half of Europe then went to Russia and found a magical village, and had a change of heart when he saw Pitch possessing a huge bear who was supposed to be one of the village's defenses. Pitch, possessing the bear, ate the wizard who was kinda the teacher and leader of the village and then after North killed the bear the magic of the kids in the village [Katherine included] brought the wizard and the bear back to life, the wizard [named Ombric, by the way] decided to make North his apprentice. Anyway I'm not sure what happens next since I haven't read all the books yet. Also the name of the village is Santoff Claussen. Finally a Rise of the Guardians theory! And an awesome one at that! I would love to see you explore all of the Guardians back stories, even Jack Frost's because there is still a whole lot we don't know about him such as: 1) why did he lose his memory 2) what made him so strong against Pitch 3) why did the Man in the Moon wait so long to tell him that he was chosen and furthermore why didn't he tell Jack himself instead of North having to?
This is wonderful. Great video about discussing Pitch Black, Isaac. Rise of the Guardians is one of my favourite DreamWorks animated movies. When I watch it, I always keep saying, "This film has a light of darkness story, just like in Kingdom Hearts." I sometimes imagine Sora, Donald and Goofy meeting Jack Frost, the Guardians and Jamie.
@@IsaacCarlson Yeah, I can't wait for Kingdom Hearts 3. I'm so hyped for game when it comes out. By the way, I have some ideas you can do for your new videos.
Pitch is such a great character, we need a sequel to dive deeper into his darkness. also when describing Night Light and showing how he fought, it reminded me of how Jack Frost confronted him. I also enjoy the theory that Jamie is the descendant of his little sister.
You know that old quote "It is better to be feared than to be loved"? Well, that's not the full quote. The full quote is "It is better to be feared than to be loved if you cannot be both". I just feel like this represents Pitch perfectly. He lost everything and was corrupted, so nobody loves him at all and he has to make people fear him to keep from being forgotten. DANG IT, HIS STORY IS SO SAD!!! CURSE MY SOFT DARKNESS LOVING HEART!!! * dying empath noises * Edit: I just realized something. Pitch craves nightmares, right? This wording makes it sound like he almost feeds off of them to increase his power. What if after he takes in the dark energy, the nightmare is gone because he basically absorbed it into himself? If nightmares can occur without him inducing them in this universe (idk if they can, I haven't read the books in a while), maybe he could take away the naturally occuring nightmares and use the power he gains to cause nightmares that punish truly terrible people? Every once in a while, though, he could give a kid a nightmare about something dangerous that they truly need to be scared about so their fear of danger is reinforced.
This is a terrible story! I know he didn't make it up, and that's the actual story of Pitch, but if you really, REALLY think about it... None of the things that Pitch did was his fault. It was the Fearlings that made him this way, he loved his daughter and wanted to help her. He was tricked by the evil entities by scaring him, making him think his daughter was in trouble. My question is, with all of this WHY DON'T THEY HELP PITCH!? It's like Super man protecting the world for YEARS, and then suddenly a Super villain corrupts him, making him evil. Yes that's horrifying to think about, but can we not help Superman after he's help us so many times before? In this story it sounds like they didn't even try! Sad.
I fear its possible that whatever the fearlings did to Pitch, that it cannot be undone. While the guardians are able to fight fear, I think the reason they don't help him is probably because they don't know how to or they don't have the power to do so, which makes Pitch's fate all the more tragic.
Also Ombric was said to have invented “Time, Gravity, and bouncy balls.” Meaning he is likely Father Time. Kathrine is likely Mother Goose. (Giant pet goose and the guardian of storytelling.)Also SPOILER ALERT: Jack Frost is highly likely to be nightlight himself.
RE: SPOILER it's pretty much confirmed in the jack frost picture book!!! nightlight IS jack, OR, at the very least, a part of jack (think sora from kingdom hearts with like 5 other souls living in his body) this calls so much into question... where are jack's memories really from? could the inconsistencies in pitch's memories be explained by similar memory magic???
You forgot to say he thought his family was DEAD after the fearling attacked his homeland! That's why he volunteered to guard the prison. When he heard her voice he really hoped it was her :( Also, the Pookas were NOT little! haha And when Emily Jane saw him again, she was upset because she thought he forgot her, but he didn't, even when his heart was corrupted and he was possessed. Sorry, I'm a Rotg nerd xD
That Is so deep and so dark I agree with that one After all these years his daughter is so angry with her Father she was waiting for him to come find her but then he was not himself anymore he turn darker as the Nightmare King aka the Boogeyman, he Destroy his ship, kill off his own Wife after she sent Emily away to a save place when she became Mother Nature but in the final book of Guardians of childhood as William Joyce said on Twitter: there is still hope that the Guardians will find a way to Trun him back to his own self again. Awesome job my friend.

Oh thank you for doing this! It made my entire day! This is my favorite villain and my favorite animated movie! I hope you do more videos on the other Guardians in the future because Rise of the Guardians needs more appreciation and a sequel in the future.
I love seeing RotG content! Especially discussions about the backgrounds/the books since not enough people seem to talk about the real versions and just make up their own. I've been in the RotG fandom/fanbase ever since it came out in cinemas but I find myself, even six years later, discovering new facts (even after having read the books too!)
The captions are brutal. I already feel bad for Pitch and he is one of my favorite characters, but I had to laugh while watching this video because the captions kept translating Pitch to "Bitch".
I am not gonna lie. When I was watching the movie when Jack got meet with the Easter Bunny for the first time I thought he was going to be Pitch Black. At that moment I gasped.
Damn, so his daughter just rejected him and blamed him in the end? It wasn't even his fault, he was possessed and corrupted against his will after a long time of basically mental abuse from the fearlings, trying to protect HER. Yikes.
One of the things that I love about your videos, Isaac, is the fact that you introduce me to movies/TV shows I’ve never heard of but now want to investigate. Thank you for doing that and thank you for taking time out to make these videos despite your busy schedule.
wow epic backstory i honestly feel a little bad for pitch. yet what happened to his daughter and jack frost was he the reincarnation of night light if not then what happened to night light. i hope you do more videos on this, this was really good
At the time of pictures possession his daughter Emily was living with her mother when all of the nightmare guys got loose of the prison their home was the first thing they attacked but she was not home, instead flying around on the special spaceship that she had a long time ago. Her mother had given her a chance to escape her to her spaceship and fly away but her mother was not so lucky. ended up having to jump out the window of their home with a toy to make the Pirates think that both the mother and daughter had fallen to their death. she eventually found and was adopted by a space god. This is how she gained in learn the power to control nature to later become mother nature but after a fight with her space dad he in a fit of rage accidently traped her in her spaceship damaging it to the point where it just looks like a hunk of rock and sent it hurtling through space. After I Millennial or so the Sandman had found her but by this point she had already been furious at everything that she saw as a father figure. She did eventually meet her original of father again but she was beyond Furious when she found out what had become of him and his attempts of replacing her via Katherine and nightlight.
To answer your second question NightLight had given up his magical abilities to save the girl Catherine and slowly became a normal human boy who would eventually become Jack Frost as a side effect. don't exactly know how it completely happened but the final book of the Guardians of Childhood series finally came out and from what the writer said on his Twitter account this final book answers the question of what really happened to night light
Pitch’s story was so sad. One of the greatest hero’s had the thing he loved most used against him to turn him into an evil being. Pitch was good but in the end it was his love for his daughter that ultimately caused him to be possessed by the fearlings. It’s so sad. He didn’t deserve this
I'd honestly love a sequel that takes place around Holloween cuz were im from it can snow around then so jack could come back and it could have the guardian of all hollows eve
Solely movie wise, pitch black was really not a bad dude, he just didnt want to be forgotten, the feeling of being nothing more than just a myth, a joke, for millenia, thats real hurtful, he just wanted to be remembered, but the only way any guardian can be remembered is through their powers, so the only way he could be remembered was through fear. He wasnt lying when he told jack that they were similar, they truly were, pitch had just been feeling what jack had for a much longer time.
Disney has taught me. That bad guys have a reason for being villainous. We just have to see their perspective from the very beginning Then we just end up feeling bad and understanding
what was that quote from the dark night rises its perfect for a lot of these stories "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain".
because pitch had created the perfect plan to overthrow the guardians as HE knew them. he targeted each of them - repurposing sandy's dreams and plotting to isolate him and kill him, since sandy represented the greatest threat to pitch; threatening north, the one most known for bouts of passion, so he wouldn't be believed; stealing the teeth and fairies to weaken tooth and control children's memories; striking on easter to deal the greatest blow to bunny, and to avoid having to contend with the celebratory monolith of christmas (probably figured from the grinch movies that stealing christmas would be too difficult lmao). but he'd made no plans for jack. he tries to include jack in his machinations, targeting jack's fears and trying to bribe him with the teeth... but pitch doesn't have the benefit of hundreds of years of reconaissance to understand and leverage jack's strengths and weaknesses - hell, even JACK doesn't know his own strength! so pitch has to operate on the fly. this is why he loses, and why he shows vulnerability in antarctica (in a desperate bid to make jack sympathize and join him). since manny recruited jack (a "neutral party" and a wild card) at the eleventh hour, pitch's otherwise perfect plan failed. jack was an unknwon variable that pitch hadn't accounted for, who ultimately turned the tide and allowed the guardians to not die. pitch only fails because jack joins the guardians in an attempt to learn more about his past.
Jack Frost was Once Upon a Time NightLight. Think Peter Pan, but with more of a fairy like approach the man in the moon's personal defense against Nightmares when Pitch attacked the moon, night light alone was able to stop him and trap him by tapping himself into pitche's heart. He targeted Jack Frost because he found out his one Nemesis had finally been turned into something weaker than him. Something he could more easily trick, brainwash corrupt and put under his control. and what better way to finally win against the Man in the Moon then to use what was left of his best friend against them
One thing I'd like to know about is the Easter Bunny's backstory. North mentions it right after Jack finds out that he had a life that he can't remember before becoming Jack Frost and Bunny scolds North saying something along the lines of "I thought we agreed to never talk about that" under his breath.
My family and I got a new appreciation for Easter after watching this. I remember in theaters hearing how he described his holiday (bunny) and I felt his love for it. I could finally say that I understood this holiday and why we celebrate it. It wasn't really something I ever thought of until this film, it was a holiday I celebrated growing up because it was fun.
Meant to comment this when you first posted the video. You posted the video on my 22nd Birthday (Decemeber 13th) and I LOVED IT!!!! Best birthday gift ever!!! 😊😊😊😊😊
First off, hearing Pitch Black's backstory is certainly very unusual and somewhat complex though I can see why Pitch wanted to get rid of the other guardians after watching the movie. Pitch was upset that the guardians had made him slowly forgotten, much like how he related to Jack Frost on saying how he knew what it was like not being believed in by anyone. Pitch wasn't a bad guy but ended up becoming one, based on his backstory, and was upset on how his influence over children was fading away by the guardians to the point of which he was forgotten about and simply bided his time to make the guardians know what he felt once they came in the picture.
I’m so happy people will know about this now because right after I watched the movie I became so obsessed with pitch and I wanted to know more about him and omg I loved and hated his backstory but I really fascinated by it
For the love of everything that's holy--please, please, please, do more Rise of the Guardians videos!! Its such an underrated series. And I need more of it!!!
You forgot the fact that he thought his daughter was dead and that his wife was killed by the same creatures he captured. That's why is was so hard on him. He thought she was dead and eventually, his sanity was so far gone that for a split second he actually believed that she was there. And Emily Jane escaped on a star, was trained by a constellation to tame the weather, and eventually when she fell into a sleep, Sandy tamed her rogue star and they became close friends, both of them came to the earth together and when the star landed Emily Jane woke up and took over on earth, while Sandy was sleeping for millennia. All of your questions (Aside from how Sandy came back) are in the books. I'm still astounded by how many people are unaware of this. I have a fanfic for RotG going that uses all the lore from the books and man are people floored when they read anything that I pull from source material other than the movie XD
I like how you mentioned the original books because the final book has finally come out and it stars Jack Frost specifically. Jack Frost is actually NightLight The Man in the Moon's original and personal protector against bad dreams. Something about giving the kidnapped girl Katheryn a kiss removed his powers and shortly after he be slowly become a normal boy.
It’d be nice to explain how Jack Frost and Nightlight are connected, since William Joyce released a back story for how Jack came to be. Also maybe a video about Tooth!I love her so much and she deserves some spotlight to her direction since she’s mostly overshadowed by bigger characters like North,Bunnymund,Sandy, and Jack.
In the one scene where Jack stumbles upon his hideout, I thought it was just a random creepy bed in the middle of the woods. And the last time I watched it, I realized the significance of the lair’s location. The bogeyman always hides under the bed.
Luke Seykora ...mmm, I’d argue they had way more chemistry than most crossover ships. They have similar vulnerabilities/goals, he’s playful while she’s pragmatic so they’d play off/balance eachother pretty well, and can teach the other a thing or two about ice magic (and probably get pretty competitive about it)
This video was awesome, full of lore I didn't know about!!! Thank you for sharing it with us 💛 Would love to hear more about Jack's powers and the Man in the Moon!!!
I'd love to hear about the link between Jack and Pitch, why choose Jack to out of all the guardians? What would he have gained from an alliance with Jack if Jack had agreed to Pitch's offer?
Who knew Rise of the Guardians actually had a lot of amazing lore from the books? It amazes me how they were able to make a movie at all with all that source material. They ought to make a prequel or something.

Sad.
I wondered the same thing for so long. Why was he the ONLY one guarding the prison? Of course something will go wrong
I thought the exact same thing, then it came to my mind that perhaps they don’t know what happened to him...? Idk
I fear its possible that whatever the fearlings did to Pitch, that it cannot be undone. While the guardians are able to fight fear, I think the reason they don't help him is probably because they don't know how to or they don't have the power to do so, which makes Pitch's fate all the more tragic.
you should do what happened to pitches daughter. my second choice is how did jack frost become so powerful.
I would suggest just reading the books they're really good
@JAYLA SANCHEZ he did
Pitch is my Favorite character from Rise of the Guardians.
I just realized that there is a DVD of rise of the guardians in the background 😂😂
You know it! I can't do that as much when I'm at school away from my Blurays, but I had recently gotten this one!
Good eye
Jude Law did such an amazing job at bringing to Pitch Black life with his voice. All of the VAs did an amazing job!
Also Ombric was said to have invented “Time, Gravity, and bouncy balls.” Meaning he is likely Father Time. Kathrine is likely Mother Goose. (Giant pet goose and the guardian of storytelling.)Also SPOILER ALERT:
Jack Frost is highly likely to be nightlight himself.
RE: SPOILER
it's pretty much confirmed in the jack frost picture book!!! nightlight IS jack, OR, at the very least, a part of jack (think sora from kingdom hearts with like 5 other souls living in his body)
this calls so much into question... where are jack's memories really from? could the inconsistencies in pitch's memories be explained by similar memory magic???
You are correct on all three guesses! Good job!
Who to choose?
The pumpkin king?
The lion king?
The nightmare king?
So many kings.....
"The Lion King".
@@mwizachihana9551 What?
@@brooke5202 . What do mean what? I just chose the type of king.
Oh no! I know two Nightmare Kings.
Double King- Does anybody know that guy?
You forgot to say he thought his family was DEAD after the fearling attacked his homeland! That's why he volunteered to guard the prison. When he heard her voice he really hoped it was her :(
Also, the Pookas were NOT little! haha
And when Emily Jane saw him again, she was upset because she thought he forgot her, but he didn't, even when his heart was corrupted and he was possessed.
Maria 4981 woah woah, okay Pitch did not kill his wife
Maria 4981 she died from falling out a window, trying to escape the dream pirates, Koz was still himself at that time
Um he did not kill his own wife
I loved this video
Can’t wait to see more videos on Rise of the Guardians
Can’t wait to learn more about the Guardians, The Man on the Moon, Mother Nature and more
We need a sequel.
Like water and fire ice Earth wind I wonder if there will be snow
Oh thank you for doing this! It made my entire day! This is my favorite villain and my favorite animated movie! I hope you do more videos on the other Guardians in the future because Rise of the Guardians needs more appreciation and a sequel in the future.
I love seeing RotG content! Especially discussions about the backgrounds/the books since not enough people seem to talk about the real versions and just make up their own. I've been in the RotG fandom/fanbase ever since it came out in cinemas but I find myself, even six years later, discovering new facts (even after having read the books too!)
That is awesome! I love how there is so much to go off of from these books and movies! It's so fun to explore
The captions are brutal. I already feel bad for Pitch and he is one of my favorite characters, but I had to laugh while watching this video because the captions kept translating Pitch to "Bitch".
Omg dude I laughed so hard
OML... I've always thought that Pitch may have some kind of a tragic story but MY GOD! This is over the top!
To be honest I feel sad for Pitch, he lost his daughter and was betrayed and ALL he wanted was a family.
Omg A Rise of Guardian theory . I was always scared of Pitch while watching the movie. Can you please do a Over The Garden Wall theory if you can?
Pitch is one scary guy! I will have to look into that; I'm unfamiliar with that!
I am not gonna lie. When I was watching the movie when Jack got meet with the Easter Bunny for the first time I thought he was going to be Pitch Black. At that moment I gasped.
Not really a theory!
G. G do you mean over the hedge
isaac woodward nope over the garden wall, the mini series that had like 13 or 14 episodes
Yes, why was Jack so powerful? More on this setting would be nice. Thank you Isaac.
Pinefr0st He’s an element.
He's night light reincarnated. The first and most powerful guardian.
Damn, so his daughter just rejected him and blamed him in the end? It wasn't even his fault, he was possessed and corrupted against his will after a long time of basically mental abuse from the fearlings, trying to protect HER. Yikes.
Women☕
I don't think she completely understood the whole story. She was probably lied to and told her father turned to the dark side willingly.
You should talk about the theory that Jack Frost and Jaime are related. That'll be so much fun
I definitely see that. Jaime even resembles Jack's sister so much, he has to be her descendent or something.
Michelle Hauger The original script says the same. Oh and that Bunny had a child.
Thank you isaac, I have been waiting for this for a long time. Big fan of your videos.
Glad I could make this for you! I'm happy you enjoy them!
One of the things that I love about your videos, Isaac, is the fact that you introduce me to movies/TV shows I’ve never heard of but now want to investigate. Thank you for doing that and thank you for taking time out to make these videos despite your busy schedule.
More rise of the guardians, please!
Will do Spencer!
YES YES YES! I loved this movie, it's so amazing and perfectly put together.
Why Jack is so Powerful or why he became Jack frost
I'm gonna just say it
Pitch black is the best computer animation dreamworks villain ever
wow epic backstory i honestly feel a little bad for pitch. yet what happened to his daughter and jack frost was he the reincarnation of night light if not then what happened to night light. i hope you do more videos on this, this was really good
At the time of pictures possession his daughter Emily was living with her mother when all of the nightmare guys got loose of the prison their home was the first thing they attacked but she was not home, instead flying around on the special spaceship that she had a long time ago.
He didn’t deserve this
I really like pitch, not least because of his suave manner, but I also kinda feel bad for him.
Trivia: Pitch was physically modeled after Morpheus AKA Dream of The Endless from Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman.
Amanda Pike no wonder he looks so familiar
We just have to see their perspective from the very beginning
Then we just end up feeling bad and understanding
God of all the Villains I apsolutely love Pitch Black he's Manipulative, he's sinister, he's dark, he is just a perfect villain.
More Rise of the Guardians please! Jack Frost's full story!
what was that quote from the dark night rises its perfect for a lot of these stories "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain".
Man this is a real trip down memory lane, all the nostalgia
I actually had a nightmare about Pitch once.
@Jessikah Thurmond . Or Sandman.
"What an adorable little dream. What's more powerful... it's Fear!"
I had a dream about him ☺(When I was 6 I had a huge crush on him then.
Me too O.O
@@sporkcutletbowl1565 Not to be like that but, what?
I always loved Pitch.
He’s got a nice color palet.
You know what I want to know, why pitch wanted jack frost to work with him
because pitch had created the perfect plan to overthrow the guardians as HE knew them. he targeted each of them - repurposing sandy's dreams and plotting to isolate him and kill him, since sandy represented the greatest threat to pitch; threatening north, the one most known for bouts of passion, so he wouldn't be believed; stealing the teeth and fairies to weaken tooth and control children's memories; striking on easter to deal the greatest blow to bunny, and to avoid having to contend with the celebratory monolith of christmas (probably figured from the grinch movies that stealing christmas would be too difficult lmao).
but he'd made no plans for jack. he tries to include jack in his machinations, targeting jack's fears and trying to bribe him with the teeth... but pitch doesn't have the benefit of hundreds of years of reconaissance to understand and leverage jack's strengths and weaknesses - hell, even JACK doesn't know his own strength! so pitch has to operate on the fly. this is why he loses, and why he shows vulnerability in antarctica (in a desperate bid to make jack sympathize and join him).
since manny recruited jack (a "neutral party" and a wild card) at the eleventh hour, pitch's otherwise perfect plan failed. jack was an unknwon variable that pitch hadn't accounted for, who ultimately turned the tide and allowed the guardians to not die. pitch only fails because jack joins the guardians in an attempt to learn more about his past.
Something he could more easily trick, brainwash corrupt and put under his control. and what better way to finally win against the Man in the Moon then to use what was left of his best friend against them
I always thought that pitch was a Guardian when humans needed fear to survive then was replaced by the others. A little fear is healthy.
Holy sticks! I didn't expect this backstory at all. This is amazing! 😍
Thank you! I've been wanting to know more about Pitch!
Do more on Jack Frost please!
I would love to do that Lizzie!
Please make more Rise of the Guardians videos. This is one of my favorite movies but none of my friends seem to know what it is
Damn now i really feel bad for Pitch. He deserved better
Man, I LOVE all these videos! Thanks for being a fun guy isaac! 😃
One thing I'd like to know about is the Easter Bunny's backstory. North mentions it right after Jack finds out that he had a life that he can't remember before becoming Jack Frost and Bunny scolds North saying something along the lines of "I thought we agreed to never talk about that" under his breath.
Yeah, I would LOVE to see an origin story of Bunny! It would add depth to him and those lines in the film🐇
Absolutely great work on looking up Pitch Black's backstory, he's one of my fav villains in the Dreamworks films!
They need to turn it into a Netflix series, with more guardians and more villains.
I just realized
Jack Frost couldn't get past Santa's yetis when he tried to get into the toy factory
THE YETIS COULD'VE BEATEN PITCH
Meant to comment this when you first posted the video. You posted the video on my 22nd Birthday (Decemeber 13th) and I LOVED IT!!!! Best birthday gift ever!!! 😊😊😊😊😊
Any thoughts on the ending scene where Pitch is dragged to an empty bed frame and sucked into the ground?
I just thought it was cruel for him, like I really felt bad
I ADORE THIS
Thanks for making it !
This makes me so sad :( Pitch deserves better
You're awesome please don't stop with your amazing videos and thank you for this topic I was actually wondering that myself
Thanks! I've wanted to see this video so badly! :) I'd love to see vids on all the other guardians too!
If fun people continue to vote for the Guardians I would be happy to make those videos!!
I have a fanfic for RotG going that uses all the lore from the books and man are people floored when they read anything that I pull from source material other than the movie XD
ooh, I'd love to read your ff. Is it on any websites?
@@auryn8450 it's on deviantart and on fanfiction.net (also is your name a ref to the never ending story?) I can leave a link if you'd like?
I think I will be discussing Jack Frost later this week actually! Very excited! Other characters will be discussed later for sure!
In the one scene where Jack stumbles upon his hideout, I thought it was just a random creepy bed in the middle of the woods.
And the last time I watched it, I realized the significance of the lair’s location.
The bogeyman always hides under the bed.
Let’s be honest, Pitch was BY FAR the coolest villain DreamWorks has ever created
Please keep going with this...my kids and I just watch the movie today and I'm thinking of getting the books for me to read to them.
God, this movie deserved better marketing.
So, he has heard of the Jack × Elsa ship🤔😏
Eh, Jelsa never had any chemistry
Luke Seykora
...mmm, I’d argue they had way more chemistry than most crossover ships. They have similar vulnerabilities/goals, he’s playful while she’s pragmatic so they’d play off/balance eachother pretty well, and can teach the other a thing or two about ice magic (and probably get pretty competitive about it)
Anonymous Fellow there are people who ship Elsa with sub-zero lol
Xavier Triggs
Who’s Subzero again? 😅
Anonymous Fellow from mortal kombat
Now we wait for the sequel of Rise of the Guardians, saving Pitch
:>
Thank you so much for bring back the light to this wonderful movie! Pls do more of this movie! 👍👍💓
Will do! I would definitely like to in the future!
@@IsaacCarlson awesome!

I would LOVE to see more Rise of the Guardians from you! ^^
I had no idea there was so much back story. It's so epic. Nice
I'd love to hear about the link between Jack and Pitch, why choose Jack to out of all the guardians? What would he have gained from an alliance with Jack if Jack had agreed to Pitch's offer?
loved this video!! more Rises of the guardian's videos please!!
"It was embedded into him"
Literally
Who knew Rise of the Guardians actually had a lot of amazing lore from the books? It amazes me how they were able to make a movie at all with all that source material. They ought to make a prequel or something.
Do a breakdown of each Guardian, and their full connection to each other and The Man In The Moon
Please breakdown the backstory of all the characters. This is such a great series! So glad that you are doing this series. I fell in love with it a few years back when the movie first came out. Thank you so much for diving into it. You do such a great job on your videos. Keep up the great work.
What if Pitch was capable of being a Guardian and became the Guardian of either (healthy) Fear or abused children?
"I discuss nightmarish topics for nightmarish people."
Wait, that didn't sound right...
