Cape York to Copperfield Gorge in under 3 minutes.

After our trip to the tip of Cape York we headed inland to Copperfield Gorge. While other travellers were walking in groups through the lava tubes, we went the other way and had the gorge almost to ourselves. A flat tyre, broken spare tyre mount and a few chips out of the windscreen didn't stop us. We hope you enjoy this throwback.

Hi mate , Great video ! I was wondering how do you keep your internet and google map going while off roading in those remote tracks ?

Glad you enjoyed the video. If you’re travelling on roads that appear on Google Maps you can actually save the maps you need when you’ve got a signal. But that won’t help you with remote tracks. For that you will need a 4WD specific GPS app. There are heaps to choose from. But you have to pay for the good stuff. There’s HEMA, Newtracs and a whole bunch of others. We use ExlpoOz Travleller and have found that really useful. Always take paper maps too if you can. Technology can and will fail.😄
