I started developing dermatitis on the scalp and face. 2 months later after dr appts and testing revealed I was allergic to sulfates. Was using redken when this happened. I switched to the living proof phd and within 24 hours something I’d struggled with for months was GONE for good. I’ve since branched out to other products that living proof offers. I know everyone is different, this is how this product helped me. Thank you for the lovely video.
This review is exactly what I was looking for. You eased all my concerns I had about the product. We have the same hair type as well so that is a huge bonus for me. Definitely earned a like from me, and love your hair btw
You are so right about PHD. My hair is similar to yours and after 3 months of using this 3x week I am so disappointed by the greasiness. It’s been awhile since I used kerastase but I’ll go back to that
@@totallytony I'm looking for a new shampoo/conditioner and was thinking of buying Living Proof, but not so much after your video. What Kerastase shampoo do you use?
@@Spatr5 so I’ve used several of the ranges over the years. Quite a few I’ve reviewed on here. Right now as my hair is not damaged, I’m using the Nutritive range but I used to swear by the Resistance line. It’s amazing on damaged hair. Hope this helps.
I started using phd and I really don’t like it 😭 I have thick straight hair and I agree my hair doesn’t feel clean for longer than 1-2 days, it feels greasy and my brushes got SO dirty so quick 😭
I have similar hair like you. Try Maui Moisture ones - those are cheaper and it is also sulfate, paraben and all that bad stuff free. I started my wavy hair journey and wow there are soooo many affordable shampoos and conditioners that would be just as great for straight hair. Other examples: Giovanni, Jessi’s curls, Not your mothers (not all are sulfates and silicones free, you need to check),As i am, Curl Smith, etc. Shea moisture deep conditioner masks are amazing for thick and thirsty hair and again affordable. I started my no sulfate, paraben and other things from Living Proof and was dissapointed since it did not blew my mind :/
hi ! I actually tried the full shampoo and i realized it was not for me 😅 it was for fine thin hair which is why it left my hair so dry ! I actually have Medium long hair it's not thick or thin , would you say i might benefit off the perfect hair day shampoo ?
Hey Emma. It’s a no from me. I tried the PHD range and after a couple of months use it really dried out my scalp and made me itch. For sulphate free I’d recommend either Ouai or Centred
so i'm looking for a shampoo and this really peaked my interest my hair is naturally poofy sometimes but weighs down a TINY bit cause it grows out and hair has weight but when i just stick my hand in my hair i can naturally just poof it up and i like that but i wanted was i wanted a shampoo that when i shampoo i still have that poof and it makes my hair poofy and volumized even though my hair kinda has volume on its own so that's why this peaked my interest so when i use both the shampoo and conditioner it's like that i also wanted it to control the oil in my hair so i dont get forehead acne cause the oils in your hair can cause acne and the last part was the 3rd part is i wanted one to keep my hair healthy and my scalp so down the line when i'm like 50 i still HOPEFULLY FULLY have my hair like i am when im young so when i. decently old i have my good full volumish hair i mainly wanted a shampoo for those 4 reasons .the maintainence and hopefulness of keeping and having poofy/volumish hair .the oil maintainence. .healthy hair. .and a healthy scalp would you say this is good for that? i've been doing alot of research but havent really gone to youtube wanted to last lmao
I was recommended the PHD from a living proof rep,. Tho I feel like she wasn’t listening to my needs and just wanted to shove the product down my throat, tho with its “reformulation” my hair feels great…tho I notice massive Shedding in the shower, I’m having difficult time wondering if it’s the shampoo/condition. I’m returning them today and switching to see if the shedding stops. I have fine hair, always thought it was flat but found it’s just very fine 2A wavy hair, struggling to find what shampoo/conditioner to use for that.
Hi there! Thanks for your comment. As a fellow fine hair’d person, I can personally recommend Ouai Fine hair (sulphate free) etc shampoo and the Bumble and Bumble thickening shampoo (with sulphates/deeper cleansing) etc. Hope you find something that works for you! Follow me on insta if you like, I post lots of product reviews and chat in my Daily stories.
I think we have the same hair! I first used PHD, then the Full, same things happened. Any shampoo you use now that you’d recommend? I dry my hair straight (but it’s wavy) I’m tempted to try the frizz. Thanks for this video
I got you, boo! So I have had absolutely brilliant results from Ouai Fine hair shampoo and Conditioner as well as the Bumble and Bumble Thickening conditioner.
Great video thank you, new subscriber here, just wanted to ask you with the full champu is it bad if i wash my hair every day? Just started using it and i’m amazed, thin hair here also and im inloved. I switched from Kerastase that i didnt like at all with a half full bottled. Anyway, thank you for the video i will try the conditioner. ❤
I can’t say for sure, but it’s sulphate free which means it ‘shouldn’t dry your hair out too much. But personally I don’t think it’s ever good to wash your hair every day. Deffo try to use dry shampoo for the day/s inbetween washed maybe
u seem like such a sweet guy lmao,u seem like the guy if i was to ever go to paris fashion week and just talk to you about stuff while ur holding sumn random champagne😭

Such a disappointment for isn’t it? Have you tried the Kerastase ranges? I just feel like they’re so much better and more affordable than Living Proof
