I have dark, thickkkk hair and I love the new formula so much more than the original! It’s my new favorite. Could you do a video with your thoughts on the It’s a 10 brand? Specifically their leave in conditioners. I use the “lite” one and I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the ingredients

This is exactly the video I was looking for! Tysm for making this I only stopped using the original PHD dry shampoo because I'm so sensitive to fragrance & it was just too strong for me. I'm going to try the trial size of the advanced version & hope it isn't visable on my medium Brunette hair!
I've just used the old perfect hair day one and really liked it, it was one of my favourite dry shampoos but did leave a greyish tone on my black hair. I also am using the Quai one which is also pretty good, but the smell is very strong. I do want to try the new LP one too :)
Being older (60s), the main reason I'm even interested in dry shampoo is for product buildup, my hair is definitely not oily. I wash my blonde, slightly dry wavy/frizz prone hair about once a week, but in between I use products daily (dampen with water every morning and apply curl defining cream/air dry cream and a little Perfect Hair anti-frizz spray... or maybe use one of my too-many-other styling products if I'm going to blow it straight.) I'm glad they've gone easier on the scent and intensity of this new formulation. Living Proof is a good line, I like their styling products especially. Great video Abbey! I have tried the original in the past but found that I needed to use it approx. 3 times per day to keep my hair looking fresh . . . which gets really expensive! Will likely try the new formula to see if it works better for me. For future topic ideas, I would love a review on the "Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum". I am hoping it might keep my ends from getting too dry given that I only wash / condition my hair once per week. Thanks so much for all you do! ❤
Thanks for this Abby I'm definitely on the look out for a new dry shampoo. I'm blond with booty length hair so I only ever wash my hair every 7 to 8 days... or on day 8. So this might be a good one for me to try. Love Tia 💘

I heard that if you use the OG living proof dry shampoo the first day then use the new dry shampoo the days after following up to hair washing day. Makes a world of difference. I have not tried this yet but intrigued! I have been using the OG for a few months now and love but do agree that it doesn't leave my hair feeling the softest (I usually add leave-in conditioner to my ends to help with that). Im going to get the travel size of the OG for now on and the full size of the new formula.
I love the original Living Proof dry shampoo! I got a sample of the new one, I tried it and noticed my hair was softer and shinier. I did noticed the new one left me with more white cast... so I will try it again and will make a final decision if I will switch!😉
The thing that worries me is that both shampoos have tons and tons of horrible reviews on Amazon. People are saying that both products are great, but they very often come with a broken nozzle. And even if it’s intact, it breaks during the 1st or 2nd use.

Am I the only one that likes the residue. My natural hair is pretty light and haven't gotten highlights in a year but dry shampoo that has residue brightens the roots up.
I feel like it works better to spray dry shampoo and let it sit for a minute then move or shake the hair with fingers running through or large brush. Flattening em out with the palm makes you lose volume (i have flat oily hair and DS)
I’ve gone through SO many bottles of the original in the past few years. I would definitely like to try the advanced version to see which one I prefer!

I have purchased the Dermatology Needless Serum and I was just wondering! Do you gradually use this from week to week up for a month and then use everyday or can you go straight in and use it everyday from the beginning. With the lighter formula, do you feel like you were still able to use the same amount of product? I've tried some that are "lighter" or more traceless in the past and have sometimes found that I'm needing to use 50% MORE product per use, which obviously turns into going through it faster and winding up more expensive over time. Would love your thoughts.
I'm sure they are both really nice dry shampoos but they are just way out of my price range for the kind of product that they are. I've found a few drugstore ones that I like- the Herbal Essences ones. the Batiste Bare, and the Not Your Mother's unscented one for when I don't want to smell perfume around my head constantly.
if you put the bottom of the bottle on your head then tilt it towards your head, that’s how far it should be, and you should spray it in sweeping motions. you are also suppose to wait 30 seconds before massaging it in. just some tips for y’all from someone who was on a live who works with living proof, he was very informative
I definitely think their dry shampoo is worth it! My super fine hair doesn’t get along well with silicones, so this has been the only dry shampoo that has worked for me!
Not shampoo related...I’d love to see some videos on eyeshadow pencils vs eyeshadow. Currently using Thrive & Bobbi Brown pencils. I love the convenience of pencils but would love to hear your thoughts. I’m 52 and don’t want to spend a lot of time on full face make up.

Must be operator error. The only dry shampoo that works for me is Redken. All of the others, Living Proof included, make my hair feel dirty be the end of the same day. Not sure why.
I mean, why washing hair just once a week if it looks greasy by day 6?.. with nice, gentle shampoo and with all the treatments washing it will not damage the hair that much.
Legit only dry shampoo in a can that DOESN'T make my hair look greasy No can spray has ever helped before this my hair is low porosity and this is it man!!!! Brand loyal now
The old one was great!!!!! I loved it, BUT my head became so itchy with their formula just the powder in my hair was really drying.... tho i will say the new one doesnt do that for me!

I don't get why you'd want more shine on your roots though? I mean if a person is at the point where they need dry shampoo, it should mean their hair is already oily and greasy. Why would I want more shine? I'll stick to the original.

Do the sprays trigger your asthma? Just wondering since I have encountered that with the ones I have tried too. 😏

I think the shiny look that the new one promotes is that one that we get right after washing our hair not the greasy shiny look of a duty hair.
The new side looks greasier to me.
