Oh my, Julie!! I could never even guess how many projects I’ve watched you do, but this has got to be one of my top favorites! Thank you so much! BTW…I love the silver trim. I like the black and clear on the thicker sides.
Oh my goodness, this is absolutely beautiful. Wow wow, truly knocked my hat off in the creek. Less than a week ago I ordered both molds and oh my gosh I'm so excited for them to arrive. ❤💞💕💯 love love love I should be sleeping but had to watch this vedio. Gonna come back tomorrow and watch it again. Now I need to order the sea inlays. Absolutely Brilliant Julie
I love watching and listening to your whole process. It’s like hanging out with a friend. This tray is absolutely gorgeous. The silver trim just accents it beautifully. Thank you for sharing your talent and creativity
I absolutely love you joy and excitement even when there is a error! I love how you say, that’s ok! Even though I couldn’t afford what you do, I love watching you work! God Bless you! You do an amazing job! Keep making your viewer smile!
I love this piece! I like that you can see through the edge to see the sea creatures so I wouldn’t paint the entire edge. The slim rim is a perfect and elegant touch.
I don’t have too much down time because I’m busy creating also. But I am recovering from a gum graft and it is a long painful recovery. So I pulled up my fav artist. I love watching your videos because it is like listening to a story. A world of beauty, color, laughter, imagination, freedom to create and putting it all together and watching it come to life. Thank you for sharing.
Julie, this is a beautiful work of art. You did a wonderful job on this and it is a fabulous showcase of what can be achieved with your molds and inlays.
Oh Julie! This is the best use of chameleon powders I have ever seen! Well worth time it takes to create this! Love listening to you while you work! I get just as excited as you do!
I've used q tips with rubbing alcohol to clean up powder on my molds where I didn't intend it to go with great success. I just make sure it's dry again before I pour anything.
I LOVE IT when you talk through the process. It’s an experience and a learning event too. I ,like you, cannot stand those with music and fast forward. I’ve seen some pics that make the video look interesting but when all you get is music and fast forward with pieces cut out I view those as a waste of my time and theirs. If you ask any questions you often are ignored or mildly attacked. So the minute I land on one of those I just go on and don’t watch. You truly are my hero. I have two people, you’re are one of the two, that I check daily for uploads. So thank you so much for providing a place to REALLY relax and just enjoy learning. Totally motivating!
This would look great as a tray and coasters, with each coaster one of your inlays in each one, being different animal. That would be a great set!!? Love your videos and the time you take to explain every step.
I own hundreds of mica powders from many different suppliers so can answer your interference powder question (I use them making pens with polymer clay): yes, all interference powders are the same in that they come from the same basic powders. What can vary (other than price) is what powders are mixed together to produce new effects. I ran into your videos when looking for more ideas of pens I can make, since I’m going to be resin casting around them, and am enjoying your channel. Thanks for sharing!
I love your videos and you have taught me so much I only found you a week ago so Ive been watching your videos every chance I get ,so I thankyou for not fast forwarding your videos
GORGEOUS, Julie! I love sea-themed anything. Really loving those interference powders used with your fabulous inserts. Such a beautiful, awesome tray! ❤ I'm so glad you never record with music (I do love your intro, though), or fast-forward anything. I *like* it when you visit with us, taking your valuable time to explain everything you're doing. I have learned an incredible amount just by NOT fast-forwarding anything! I so much appreciate that! Not only are we frequently gifted with little hints on how to do something better, easier, faster, etc..., you make us feel as if we've just had a lovely coffee klatch with a favorite neighbor and friend, as well! 🤗❤
🥰 this is gorgeous! I absolutely love it. Thank you for another magical video. I hope you recover very soon. You certainly haven't lost your bubbly personality whilst being sick. Rest up 😘💐
Hubby and I watched this entire video before bed. We both were in awe. It turned out amazing!❤ I just recently found our channel. I have a lot of videos to go back and watch. 😅
Oh wow wow wow wow, WOW 😍, My sister in law would love that, she lives on the Goldcoast too and loves anything to do with the ocean, its really beautifuly made x
Beautiful love the colors and design. Julie you mention green in on your fingernail, I apply a thick coat of WHITE paint, white sharpie, or white ink under and around my nails let it dry and wash excess off. It usually removes the stains and keeps my nails clean. ♥️
When you put your mica powder in shell's etc , if you mix powder with tiny but of water , then paint it on , then let it dry completely , the powder doesn't move , this is what I do , loving your videos ❤️❤️🥰
A Stunning piece, the handle, and the silver trim are all in harmony. A fantastic try, it could so easily sit in a swanky seafood restaurant. Francy making a whole bar area in the same design, my god that would be a brilliant project.
This piece turned out gorgeous! ❤ my mind is racing with ideas for different colors and inlays. You could do some for holidays, a fall tray, a light spring or summer tray' even a whimsical one. I'm very excited to see what you come up with next. ❤
That is stunning! I have been binge watching videos to escape some of the stress I have in my life. I’m glad you filmed the entire process. Resin and I don’t get a long very well, but I would love to attempt this! Thank you for sharing your talent and beautiful creations with us.🥰
I will be thinking of you, so brave to mention the escape needed. Julie comforts me just being her genuine self. I love her talking through her thought process.
Hey Julie, listening to you talk about the powder inside the inlays, then lay clear resin over them… and I think it looks really stunning! So much so, that I think it blows the whole “always put dark resin over the powders” theory, out of the water!! I don’t have inlays yet but, when I get them, I first want to try them using clear resin over the powders. This tray is just incredible… so beautiful. I’d have been tempted to try black handles to match the underside of the tray?? You are so very talented Julie and I learn so much from you… so, thank you ever so much for taking the time to put all your works on video. Oh, and by the way, I am also that person that clicks “next” when a video is just music… I really, really enjoy hearing the posters thought processes and chit chat while their filming! ♥️♥️🇦🇺
I have watched this one a few times, it is one of my favourites just the colours are amazing and it looked so fun to do. I also love that large tree of life you did a while back. Can't wait until I can afford to buy your molds
Oh Julie this is so special, being a water fanatic I must get these ..need to check if you have a turtle. Jellyfish ..shark etc.. going to look now. Gorgeous,
I've never seen silicone inserts before, so I was intrigued to see how they are used. What an awesome idea! I love interference powders, they make everything shine so much better.
Wow, another stunner! So beautiful and mesmerizing to look at. Would love to see you make a mermaid insert and do this same technique. Something about this is magical. xoxoxoox
I absolutely LOVE that blue!!! And I agree with you about videos with music. (But I'm 70, and I prefer classic rock, not the stuff they play nowdays.) It came out incredibly beautiful!!! That silver edge is PERFECT!!!
That is absolutely amazing! I love that crushed velvet look and the colors that you used on it! The inlays are really interesting. It's almost as if they are not quite there but they are. Kind of like they are holograms. I really love it!
Oh my goodness!!! You have the patience of a Saint!!! It was worth it though...what an absolute stunning tray!!! I am going to give it a try very soon!!!! Thank you for sharing this 🙏❤💜♥
It's very beautiful. I love how the sea creatures & shells look like holograms & the tray has a great 3-d look. Your videos are always brilliant - thank you!
Awesome piece Julie thank you and I agree 100% I hate videos with music you are right I too move on to the next one I wish I could scream it out so all could hear because there are some good artists out there that I just completely turn off thank you so much❤❤❤❤
