The Land Cruiser styling was based on the Willis Jeep and they were constantly evolved until the 80s, and now this is a retro design calling back to that and steeping away from the 90s and the 2000s, and the Land Rovers were evolved the same way, back to WWII scout cars.
The pop open rear glass is a nice feature. My 06 Grand Cherokee had that and it is so easy when you have a bag or something small you want to toss is the back.
I love how he highlights standard features that are IN EVERY CAR. You get AC controls A gear shift lever A front windshield Sun visors A steering wheel horn button Door handles to open the door from the inside
-Not all cars have physical buttons for AC controls. Some cars hide the AC controls in the digital menu of the touchscreen (like Tesla) which some find annoying -not all cars have a gear shift lever. This new Land Cruiser is a good vehicle but the 4Runner clearly proves that Toyota never knew and understood what the Land Cruiser really was in the US market. To be honest they should have just stuck with it discontinued here in the states
For $120k (in India) I’d just get much better options but if they set the price lower would definitely buy it since I’ve had a great experience with my fortuner
