I just picked up my 136660 yesterday, 11 December 2022, after a 13 month wait. It's a fantastic watch and makes my Submariner look dainty in comparison!

Isn't it too heavy though? I had a Mark 2 and had to sell it due to excessive weight. It felt like wearing a brick on my wrist.

I purchased this timepiece today. I was on a waitlist with my AD. I understand that some traditional Rolex owners may not be interested in the larger case size, however, I absolutely love it. If you’re going to spend on a luxury watch, it should get noticed. This will likely be once in a lifetime purchase for me. I always wanted a Rolex and finally own one.

I just renounced the mesmerizing James Cameron-like Omega Ultra Deep yesterday at the Omega Geneva store because of the thickness, so a regular Sub no date - mine is a 1967 5513 no date on riveted bracelet - is my thing, but obviously no question to take a 1967 piece into the water.
Congratulations! It looks good on you. I think this is the first 136660 I have seen in the wild. I have the 126660 and I love it, in particular the over-engineering. Have fun with your watch!

Maybe I am mistaken but the warranty card in your video refers to the model being the latest 136660 version. In any case it’s a great watch!

I’ve had 3 Deepsea’s since 2008 ,1st,2nd & 3rd generations,I have never kept one for more than a year.Sooner or later you get tired of lugging around such a heavy watch and the thickness always really bugged me after a while,possibly my favourite model but at the end of the day,just too big.
I had my Sea-Dweller 126603 last July. My Deepsea blue dial will arrive next month, can't bloody wait!
Finally Rolex got the mis aligned date window correct. Now I’ll get one😊
just got mine, insanely beautiful, the thick sapphire glass creates some mesmerizing visuals.

Picked up mine from my local AD last Friday after a mere 17 days from initial inquiry to getting it on my wrist, that's got to be some sort of record for an average Joe Public with no history with the AD?

Only 0ne thing I don’t like about this watch is the date, I preferred without it. Getting mines next week,136660-003. The best designed dive watch In the world. size proportions are perfect. I have Omega Sea Master Chrono 300m for 32 years but my real love is deep sea.

How long did you wait to get this?
About 3 months from the day I made an order from the authorised dealer who knew me very well. Just happened that I’ve bought a few watches from them. I was lucky to have this watch in such a short time.
Wich differences with 126660 ?
To tell you the truth, I don’t know! 😁
Very minimal differences to the point of wondering why Rolex even released a new reference. The date window is slightly larger on the 13; something you’ll only notice in a side by side comparison with an 11 or 12. Rolex also eliminated the diver’s extension on the 13, a mistake IMO.. However mistake or not it’s undeniable that that few to none would ever utilize the extension anyway. Be it the 12 or the 13 you can’t go wrong. They’re great looking MEN’S watches in a world in which “unisex” watches, including most Rolexes, have become all the rage in recent years.. My 126660 is without a doubt my favorite Rolex….
There are a total of 7 difference…1. Strap extension 2. Go to black portion before it reach the date level…3. Wordings on the back casing 4. They change the base so it is thinner n flatter…5. Sharper at edges…have to handle the glass carefully…6. The font size of the date is larger by 8%..7. Looked brighter and clearer from front view…8. 136660 is larger than 126660 by 10000😂 …..the link for you guys to watch the differences

I believe it’s the same on all watches. However, I put magic tape on the clasp to prevent scratches more easily. 😊
Unfortunately since the demise of the 16600 series in 2008 ish the steel on all new Rolex’s is the softer 904L steel which scratches easier….according to my watchmaker friend who specialises in servicing Rolex’s.

This watch on the video not authentic, the triangle on the buzzel didnt fit the centre of the teeth that are arround the baze, the dote should be o'clock with tooth top of it and not between two.

I'm on the list for a black sub date, a kermit sub & one of these. At today's price if I get all three I'm looking at £32k outlay. Do you have any tips to get my wait time down? I really dont want to buy things I'm not interested in & I'm not a flipper & I may buy more in the future. My AD doesn’t seem to care. Just keeps selling to flippers
