A figure like this definitely needs a stand
Shawn Hull 100% I’m gonna probably use a Mafex stand on him cause he still won’t stand up!

But i just got this figure as general grievous is my favorite star wars character OAT. I love this exept the fact that he cant stand. But just ebcause i love this guy so much i bought a sh figurarts Character stand and base wich hold up the character by the waist and now i can get him to stand and get him into awsome poses!

I've had a hard time getting him to stand as well, I think its the joints in the ankle joints getting somewhat "loose" after posing him a lot (like can you blame yourself for wanting to pose this guy a lot?). I too have also found the cape to be hindering his standing as well if you have him posed with his lightsabers. But other than that, he stands okay, until he falls literally off of my shelf to his pitiful doom.
Vader - X - Bricks It really sucks so many people are having this issue with him! I wish they would have had him come with a stand or at least put peg holes in his feet to use one of the pre exhausting stands. I’m afraid to put him up on my shelf now because I keep my BS figures kinda high up so if he falls I can definitely see him breaking.

5:05 personally i also have that promple with my grevious for some reason and i still domt know how to fix it
ok after watching further in to the video i dont have the problem as you but mine still cant stand that well

I am hopeing to get this figure and the Battle Droids/Clanker figure just im worried if im not careful the elbow joint will fall off of grivious if possible could you tell me if it would be hard to come off?

I love this figure but I too am having a very hard time getting him to stand for any length of time. Ill think I finally have it then suddenly 15 minutes later he comes crashing down from the shelf. Same with my Mace Windu.
FugMan4 Same dude, it’s pretty frustrating. Great looking figure but I’ve got him to stand up for like a totally of 2 hours. And if I put the cape on and I can’t even get him to stand for a minute. Thanks for checking out my review!

I'm kind of sad that the lightsabers don't match the movie ones :(
Would have been nice to see those blink and you miss it green Obi Wan and Anakin lightsabers.

Soooo use a mafex stand? Pose him use stand it's a great fig. Learn to pose a fig.
You shouldn’t have to rely on a stand. That’s a problem.
