Great looking bike, but just think, if you ever feel undervalued in your job, and no one appreciates your work, just be glad you’re not the guy assembling stock scout 101 mufflers.
I really hope you succeed as an Indian motorcycle content creator love your videos and still down to watch other brands of course but stuff like this and being the first along with being the only one with a thunder stroke tear down is awesome and there is a market for it.
The blue color scheme is growing on me, but the stock exhaust is leaving a lot to be desired bro! The touch screen and keyless start are an awesome innovation, but I’m sure that companies are already designing slip ons for this bike! Great job, thanks! 👍✌️
@@RobDaKid87 You make a very valid point! That would be awesome now that I imagine it. With the black tires, exhaust, mirrors and hand grips etc, that would look off the hook!!! 👍
@RollWithSoul317 Seriously! I love blue, too. Plus, all the other models change the entire body color. This is the only one that doesn't. They need more colors other than black, flat black, and green. I know that's their thing. But throw in like neon green, yellow, or orange. Basically I'd like some brighter colors.
@2510nikaVery true. I’m glad I live in an area where no one checks or cares about any of that, and I hope that never changes. My GSXR1000R would never pass tests lol
I have to first give you props. I really enjoy your videos, your very thorough and informative on your videos. Watching Indian videos has helped me a lot as a new rider . Thanks and keep up the great work.
I like the 2/1 exhaust Indian went with on the new scouts Vs. the 2/2 on the Chief. Looks a lot more sleek. Indian needs to incorporate this on the next model year Chief.
All these new bikes are awesome with all the new features they come with but I still like the old style engine look from 2023 and below those engines were mean looking. If Indian could make these new engines look like the older ones. It’s a wrap in my opinion and I’m not sure why they got rid of the name, Scout rogue and called this sports scout when they’re already is a 101
From the new models this is the one I like the most. The 101 gives me too much sportbike vibes, but this one is what people have been asking for in the Scouts. Love it.
Not sure why they would put the electric touch screen unprotected in the rain. It just screams electrical short when moisture gets pass those rubber rings. Any prices yet?
Love the bike and what they’re doing with the tech. Only thing I would like to see is the speedometer and tachometer be more responsive. Appears to be glitchy but hopefully they fix that by the time I decide to buy one
I want an indian. Im a big guy, but hopefully, prolonged water fasting will work so i csn finally get down to a healthy weight. I thoughy I was 6'1 and now weigh 370lbs. However, i measured without shoes during am exam and i wad told i was 5'11 shocker😂 so in theory, once i get down to to 1 something, i will fit on the scout/chief just fine and it will be my first bike. All black. I like the bagger look but the added cost is the hindering factor for the foreseeable future. Though i would love to travel long distance. Im not sure either of those bikes are suited for that. A ride from GA to Black bike week and Sturgis may be brutal.
Great first look, some nice improvements such as the risers, preferred the old engine, not liking the exhaust look or sound, hope there will be some decent aftermarket options, the TFT clock could look better but at least it hasn’t been ruined with the hideous tacky gold forks and shocks that were put on the 101. Looking forward to the test ride reviews
Definitely my favourite but my only concern is the one disc break which 2 pot caliper plus I can't buy this bike anyway I've got a disease in my left hand and can't straighten it so have stick to my DCT rebel 1100 😢
If the single disc is strong enough to lock up the front tire, you do not need anything more for normal riding as far as safety is concerned. Dual discs do not make the bike stop any quicker. Dual discs came from sport bike world where you do more spirited riding and brakes overheating become a serious concern. Dual discs share the braking load and heat up less than a single does in similar situations.
Rear fender looks off IMO. Together with the lights and skinny tyre, it - for me - and in a way, ruins the look of the Scout I fell in love with. Ill keep my 2020 Scout Bobber for life, i love this bike. BTW still good to see you doing this UA-cam thing 😁
Hey Brandon how does it feel compared to the scout rogue I was thinking about getting a scout rogue 60 as my first bike sat on it and fell in love, especially the mini apes… what you think?
It’s essentially a Rogue. The added rear suspension is nice and the risers are close to mini apes. A tad different though. Check it out. I also have a Bobber 60, great platform. 🤙🏾
It's with how bulky it is and that it essentially looks like a heat shroud. I'd imagine it's to do with california emissions regulations as well as euro 5 emissions regulations. Expect to see a metric shit ton of aftermarket options for this bike.
Great question and as BigH mentioned.. emissions make it tougher on engineers to pull performance, looks and sound out of the exhuast. They’re designing these bikes with a hand behind their back so the result is what we have. Aftermarket will fill the gap as it has for previous Scout and other models/brands.
I’m not feeling that round TFT display because you lose viewing real estate. They need to give and option for the other rectangular model that he had on the bikes before😢
Scout never had a rectangular display. You might be thinking of the FTR. That being said, I'm more disappointed about Indian dropping Android Auto from their Ride Command. I'd prefer using Google Maps or Waze, instead of the built-in maps.
@@BrandonBicasso That's sounds like a weird excuse. To my knowledge, Google never officially supported Android Auto on motorcycles. Yet, there it was - even on last year's Chiefs, on the same round display that Scout now has.
Android Auto has never been on Chief nor has it ever been on any other Indian motorcycle (officially). Apple Carplay on Chieftain,/Challenger, yes. Google ended support for motorcycles awhile ago and if they don't release the api, no access.
My heart and soul says the scout 101. Logic says the scout sport is the best price to value. My wallet says to keep my sportster that the bank doesn't own.
Of course they are. There's rules to this stuff and we have to shoot, write and edit video. This stuff takes time, man. Video is coming, no worries. Just wait lol.
Personal opinion bike lools better without the digital screen, if I know technology that won't operate as well as you first got the bike down the line.
I am not a fan of the looks. I prefer the older look of the engine, the previous frame looked a lot better, less cluttery too, the rear fender looks terrible with those bolts, sticking out like sore thumbs. This is basically a mini chief. I like the older design of Scouts because they looked unique. They still do, but it's more closer to other motorcycles than anything. The tech (especially fuel gauge) is a massive improvement, I do like the ride command, cruise and traction control additions a lot.
This bike is so close to perfection only to be let down by cheap button controls, careless wire placement and what's up with the water hose on the left side sticking out like a sore thumb. Too many after thoughts make this a deal breaker.
Getting the rest out soon! Super Scout is next I think.
Great looking bike, but just think, if you ever feel undervalued in your job, and no one appreciates your work, just be glad you’re not the guy assembling stock scout 101 mufflers.
Lol

I appreciate that Fam! I have a bit more on the ThunderStroke tear down coming soon. Made a mistake and it came to bite a bit.
Love those Indian motorcycles❣️
They just keep getting better and better👍
This is a great creative way to showcase the bikes, I dig it.
Love that blue.
The blue color scheme is growing on me, but the stock exhaust is leaving a lot to be desired bro! The touch screen and keyless start are an awesome innovation, but I’m sure that companies are already designing slip ons for this bike! Great job, thanks! 👍✌️
I just wish the whole body was blue. I don't like the way on the sport. The only color that changes is the tank.

Say no to stock exhaust pipes.
Finally a video where you just quietly show the bike, and yourself on it for reference. No useless chatter. Love the video.
Oh man! That BLUE is 🔥

Love that for you. Here's to learning a lot more.
Keep up the great videos Brandon
Love the way this model looks , may have to take one for a test drive
I like the 2/1 exhaust Indian went with on the new scouts Vs. the 2/2 on the Chief. Looks a lot more sleek. Indian needs to incorporate this on the next model year Chief.
No, it looks awful
I gotta agree people think I bought a hot water tank and strapped it to the side of my motorcycle
Thanks Brandon, Looking forward to your next video
Another really good looking bike, I like that the rear suspension travel appears up a bit- the tank design is great looking too
Good to see reviewing Bikes again...I really like the look and riding position of the new Scout 101...Even though its not a Bike for me....
That scout got some high ass revs!
Is looks bigger. I like it. I like it a lot!
Nice video man. Thanks for getting this out.
I didn’t realize how taxing this is to do on 5 bikes 😂
Dude totally badass, you look great man!!!
Congratulations and ride safe
Sport Scout looks are easy to fall in love with.
Good to see you on an Indian again!!!
Love it. Fantastic styling and colours.
I like the color.
Looks like i maybe trading that 22 Nightster I just purchased. Lol
Nice!

Agreed. The blue sport with the 10 inch risers will be my next bike for sure.
Add an exhaust and this bike is 🔥
I like sport scout but i would like the bigger tire on the front from the scout bobber
Not sure why they would put the electric touch screen unprotected in the rain. It just screams electrical short when moisture gets pass those rubber rings. Any prices yet?
There’s no problem with it similar to Chief. Prices posted on Indianmotorcycle.com
I can't wait to hear after market exhaust on this.
It’s gonna sound craaazy. There’s untapped potential in this engine.
Love the bike and what they’re doing with the tech. Only thing I would like to see is the speedometer and tachometer be more responsive. Appears to be glitchy but hopefully they fix that by the time I decide to buy one
Yes, still a few kinks with the responsiveness. It is better than my Chief's ride command but still not perfect.
I want one so bad now man
Taking cues from Harley but also very innovative. I like it.
i need this bike in my life 😍

Can do an entire walk-around by the time the dashboard boots up!

I was hoping for another dash set up on the screen as well. Same few from Chief.
Definitely my favourite but my only concern is the one disc break which 2 pot caliper plus I can't buy this bike anyway I've got a disease in my left hand and can't straighten it so have stick to my DCT rebel 1100 😢
Sorry to hear that. Single disc does well imo.
If the single disc is strong enough to lock up the front tire, you do not need anything more for normal riding as far as safety is concerned. Dual discs do not make the bike stop any quicker. Is this and 101 completely keyless? Like no more keys in the engine like good old times?
There's an analog option if you want. Sell the push button and fob, change it to a physical key.
Indian is doing it again 👍👍
They did IT too.
How tall are you?
Great vid
5’10”
Might be the sexiest bike I’ve ever seen. I actually like this better than the 101.
All black for me for price. 😅 Then, paint it something else. I can’t bring myself to paint over the 101.

When do you get one out on the road?
Finished up today.
I would imagine this sits VERY similar to the 101 if not identical?
Very similar sit besides the inverted forks.
Scout 101, 111cv. Scout sport 105cv. Scout 101 armotizzatori migliori, forcelle rovesciate con 2 dischi Brembo all'anteriore e particolari migliori. Scout sport, no.
How tall he said he was again? Just for reference only, i didnt catch the height he said he was.
5’10”
I prefer the smokey black color but it's damn fine looking bike nonetheless.
Yeah, that matte/flat black is my choice as well.
Can you put the regular new scout rear fender in the sport?
Yes, all use the same subframe. Any rear end parts will fit the others direct bolt on.
When they gonna let you ride them?
Yesterday. You won’t see video of that until next week. Rules to it.
So a key fob....instead of a simple key....and a removable gas cap instead of a modern locking cap?
Go with the key if you want the key 😏
As a motorcycle noob. What’s so wrong about the exhaust that everyone hates?
It's with how bulky it is and that it essentially looks like a heat shroud.
I'd imagine it's to do with california emissions regulations as well as euro 5 emissions regulations.

@@BIGH1001 that makes a lot of sense actually. Thanks for the feedback!
Are these belt or chain driven?
Belt final drive.

Nice! Can hardly hear it though so drop the stealth pipes and put a pair of ground pounders on it! 😂

😂
Great looking bike but the screen is a big turn off. Like a 2012 andriod, laggy slow and low fps
A "Sport" should have twin front discs.
Fair!

Of course they are. There's rules to this stuff and we have to shoot, write and edit video. This stuff takes time, man. Video is coming, no worries. Just wait lol.
Is it just me or the video, looks like the digital tach is laggy?
There’s an input delay on ride command. Indian is using some older chipsets for sure. I have no info on that but I’m assuming.
Fantastic bike but the feet foreward thing is a deal breaker
Get some mids, they’re available.

I like the way it looks, but i dont like the way it sounds. It could be because of regulations but it sounds hollow and tin'y
Definitely because of regulations
It's a Chief with a Scout badge...lol I'm guessing Indian is discontinuing the Chief name
First upgrade some pipes
No Sound…😢

DONT TOUCH IT°! :D
