Got the game yesterday and I am having a grand old time building my airship. I second the recommendation for this game. Oh I would be interested in a video on any tips and tricks on building up the the airship. I saw in one part of the video an airship with two balloons. How do you build up to that?
I love this game, it is as slow paced as you would like or you can speed up and zoom fast if you prefer, there is plently to do, plently to collect and plently to see, I know what I am talking about I have over 65 hours on this game and I have loved every minite, whatever you pay for it I highly recommend it xx
What I would like to see is more games setup like 7 Days to die. Where you can just go into a cheat tab and have whatever you want. I tipically start with tools I would tipically already have in a reality. Sometimes I just want to explore.
The concept is awesome but they really need to tune down the meters. Early game is only about keeping food-water-fuel-sleep meters up hence leaving hardly any time to do anything else let alone enjoying the game.
Great review! I just bought this game yesterday and I am over the moon, that I found this title. There are so many survival games on the market both from Indy and major game developers, so you really have to stand out and bring quality and new thinking to the table if you are going to have success. This game really stands out and it do certainly bring both quality and new ideas to the table. *This game already contains a solid foundation for being the new Survival KING👑⚒️👑
The game idea is brilliant, and the graphics are good. However, the game is quite limited. All the stops you visit with your ship have very few variations, with only 5-6 maps at most. The storyline is also very short, and there's no combat in the game. This makes the health bar feel completely useless. You can even speedrun it in just 1-2 hours. Overall, I don't think it's worthy
@@evernote1568 I haven't finished subnautica and played tons of hours, I like to play and enjoy the entire travel, subnautica is almost a sandbox, that gives you the possibility to built different bases in different places, explore, unlock every single stuff you can discover, it offer pretty much contents, I don't like speed run or playing just to go strictly to the end of the game, and a game that after 15 hours has nothing more to say, for me is not enough
I bought this game its got good promise but at the minute its very small and repetitive after a few hours its over, needs a lot of new content but at £19.99 it good enough if the game is expanded. If its not i wouldn't recommend it as when we watch youtubers we never get the full picture of the size and scope of the games, as nobody said the game was so small but i still enjoyed it even if its not updated the way i hope
Not really worth it! Not at $30 This game has roughly 6 hours of core content. FFH keeps saying more content in coming, it's "on the way", BUT...haven't seen much of that. They keep pushing the narrative that full release will be late 2024. Hmmmmm?? That gives them just 7 months to hoof it hard. Not too sure if they can deliver. Best to just get this when it is in the $9.99 bin for sale.
After seeing some walkthroughs of the first release, I bought it with a nice chunk off on Fanatical (25%). I do not have a super powerful gaming rig, but it runs okay-ish on a Lenovo T14G3 AMD laptop. From this I can clearly see the game is in development. Going into the under dust with the elevator shows this clearly as it stutters on its way down and up. The keyboard combination is, well let me just say it, awful. Walk and action (W and E) right beside each other.... not making me very happy, and I have not found a way to remap action to the right mouse button or different key, like the T or so. I have spent around 12 hours on it now, have a massive ship, and have upgraded it as much as I can. I am about to meet the Mantis, and that is in general the first chunk. Some other places have become available, at the time of writing, and more resources should be added soon. Should you get this game? Not at the full CAD $40 - plus the taxes. At the discount? It is a purchase that can be fun, especially if you have a good system to play it on. The graphics, at high settings, are amazing and stunning. But my FPS drop to like 2 or 3 - at low settings I get the 60FPS, so it is worth it on a good gaming system.
I just finished this game with a total of 16 hours. Very good and unique! My version of “finishing” is finding the virus carrier, having a large airship with tons of resources to where I’m like “now what?” But this game has massive potential and I truly hope devs keep working where in three years time the game will be *even* better. 😊
This is not a survival game, there are not enough elements and challenges to make it one. It has a LOT of work to do before it can be called that. Also, it is extremely boring, you just fly from tower to tower, there is something huge missing from this game, it has a lot of potential but so far it is very boring and there is no story, what story they do have is extremely lacking and is very very short. They have been putting very little effort into updating the game. Every 3 - 4 months they add not very much at all, when you compare the effort that other developers put in to there early access games, take Sons of the Forest for example, they added an update roughly once every 2 weeks and the amount of work they did in that time completely puts to shame the amount of effort that you get in a 3- 4 month update from the forever skies developers. So far we just have a blimp building simulator and that's it. Over the course of a year they have added very little, I fear there are development issues we do not know about because this game needs soooooo much doing to it before it can be called just a game never mind a survival game. Oh, and it does not run brilliantly, there are serious optimization issues, and that's not just me, if look from forum to forum and from site to site people are discussing how very badly optimized the game is, terrible in fact. If you had no issues at all then I find that hard to believe.
Unfortunately game is lack of enemies, mobs or whatsoever, so due to the lack of action is boring for me after 1 game. Maybe for somebody to be relaxed game is ok, but the lack of action is a bit boring, and everything becomes rinse and repeat same actions over and over and over, so 6 out of 10 for me. Deinstalled after 2 hours, a pity
I've got a little over 6 hours so far because I got it on their Kickstarter and I'm loving it. It's very Subnautica which is an S-Tier game for me.
That's exactly what I thought when I watched a let's play today.

Subnautica but really high up
Pretty much 😂
Hypernautica...nah that sucked I'm sorry 😅

I'll be holding off thanks to your review, I'll be looking forward to playing a much more complete version for sure.
If You buy the Early Access version, does this mean you don't have to pay for the game again once they complete it?
no
Yeah man, it's yours forever at a cheaper price than full release !
old age moment, meant no you dont have to pay again
no its yours

I like the concept / gameplay and all but wish it had co-op/multiplayer option
looks nice lets see in one year
IS meeting the Mantis down the tunnel the end for this early access??? Is that all for now? So far the game is engaging but so many are lacking.
is it like subnautica?
Maybe time for a replay? 👀

I have been waiting FOREVER for this game, I seriously hope it's good
Any co-op?

23 whole dollars fun game early access, i finished the story in early access but i am still exploring getting recipes etc
🥰
I was going to buy it, until I saw the FORTY dollar price tag [cad].
I'll wait!
Enjoying this one so far! Reminds me of subnauctica but I'm a good way!
how else would it remind you of subnautica if not in a good way ? subnautica is the king of this shit
Everything's great. Is there nothing negative on this game?
10 to 15 hrs nope needs like 5x that amount of content for me to be interested in a game
10-15 hrs is the time it takes to sneeze, 30 hrs is the very minimum imo 😂
Agreed
I finished Subnautica in 30 hours without guides.. is that a bad game?

so the game is worth it for 10, 15, or 20 pounds............well its 30

build a better one read pre quirements

Maybe put in a spoiler warning, people that watch these videos are probably considering playing the game for the first time.
