I wish there was a way to charge a rechargeable AAA battery inside the flashlight. It would be really nice to charge one or the other and not have to worry about the battery leaking. Ps. 3.7 14440 rechargeable be really nice.
Would be nice. Probably lacks the electronics to be able to do that. To swap between charging each cell. And detect and charge each battery chemistry differently.
I like my E5. Love the back-up cell idea and how bright it is for the size. However, plastic is weak and has cracked a little, UI is pretty bad, and tint was a little green. I just put an 804 minus green filter on it and tint is perfect now.
There’s also nothing protecting the lens. The bezel sits level with it so between that and the plastic body I would not really say it’s durable. Flush bezel seems like an odd choice for a keychain light that is likely to be scratched by your keys.
I wonder if they're using the same polyamide case on your version? E5 looks clear. They squeeze a lot of features into these keychain lights, UI always takes me awhile to figure out, but all good after :D
Hey mate, I showed near the end of the beamshots on high mode. But didn't take any measurements with my light meter. Significantly brighter on the built in lithium cell.
Great lights❤
I like how much attention they put into the small details

id love to hear your thoughts on the E3, E7 or E8. Nice light.
Cheers man, I'm waiting for the E8 to arrive. Might be here tomorrow.
Oh wow it has a pocket clip! Impressive!
Some of the other RovyVon models have magnetic pocket clips and magnetic tail clip like the A8 😀
Impressive little thrower !
And really awesome u can switch between two battery types!
Both batteries can be taken out correct?
Yeah I didn't expect it to throw that far. Only the AAA primary can be removed. But you can probably unscrew the light to access the other one.

I wish you had've shown the difference in brightness between the batteries...otherwise, great review!
